When switching format from word- pages -word I realized that i lost my table of content. What should I do?
I had a word document from my Microsoft office. When extracting it to edit on my MAC, i realize that pages has omitted the table of content. The table of content was obvious so I noted it. My fear was, that there are other things that get omitted of great value.

What do you mean by "extracting"?
You are aware that Pages is not a Word clone? It will open and convert Word .doc/x files but may change the content.
If you want a Word clone try LibreOffice [free] or use Word for Mac.

When switching away from a particular web site, the audio often continues.
When switching away from an eagle cam web site, the audio often continues after leaving the site or will stop then restart later.
Only happens from this one web site but occurs on two different computers using Firefox browser but not others. This seemed to start with Firefox 10 and continues with FF 11. I have watched this particular web site off and on for a year and never had this experience with the audio restarting after leaving the site.
This is the only site I have found where this happens and it happens only with FF, not IE or Chrome. I also learned that a friend has the same problem on the same site on her computer.
Any help resolving this is appreciated.Sounds like a problem with the plugin-container process that doesn't stop properly and keeps playing the sound.

Most large HDDs require an outboard power source.
When you delete songs from iTunes you will get a message if you want to send it to trash. If you send it to trash, space will be freed up only when you empty trash. An individual song does not consume much space so if your HDD is becoming full, more drastic action s should be considered, such as moving an entire file to an external HDD.

HAVING A PROBLEM WHEN I PRINT A WEB PAGE WHICH IS MORE THAT ONE PAGE LONG. ONLY THE FIRST PAGE PRINTS TO SCALE...THE REMAINING PAGES PRINT OFF THE PAGE????HELP-IT IS DEFINITELY A PROBLEM WITH FIREFOX BECAUSE IT DOES NOT HAPPEN WITH SAFARI??Thank you for the response. I tried to fix the problem with some of the suggestions on that page, but none seem to work. I believe that is the only website that I'm having that problem on. I got to fooling with it a bit more and when I highlight the whole page and select to print the selected area, it actually prints the whole page then, but it won't do it as a default. I guess I can just do it like that from now on, but I thought there would be something in the settings that I could have changed. Thanks again for the help.

Hello! Can't open an IDML file. ID file was created in CC (10). It is a 100 page (50 spreads) doc that is one big table. It was created in CC (10) and saved as an IDML file. I have CS6 and when I try to open it, it shuts down ID almost instantly. The file was created on a MAC and I am trying to open it on a MAC. There's a good chance the file is corrupt. As whomever sent it to you to verify it opens on their end.

Thanks Shootist007, by blockd files I mean files that I have changed to blocked and when I tried to move then for the first time, I had to unblock again. I am trying to backup my pictures, my songs and other files like word documents and excel tables. First I put all of them as blocked, what caused the first problems on trying to move them. Then, I've unchecked the block option and if I try to move one by one, there is no problem. The issue is to move all together, because it gets stuck in the preparing to copy files step. Anyway, if I cannot do all by once, I'll do it one by one, event though that was not suposed to happen if we are talking about technology, right? Anyway, I thank you again for trying to help me!

I created a book in iBooks Author using the Photo Book template. When I rotate to portrait orientation, the photo or widget disappears and a table of contents appears with only the interactive media showing.

I have spent hours on the phone with what I now know is a call center in Texas on this question.
I think Apple could be a little more "hands on" with iBooks Author users, and it should also be pointed out that landscape photos will not display in portrait mode.
In my case, I used gallery widgets to display vertical photos, since they look better in portrait mode.
But instead of simply rotating, the page disappears and a TOC of interactive media appears. The gallery behaves as expected when tapped. This is not what I expected, but since the gallery works, I can live with it.
Right now I have "tickets" telling me to "fix" this "problem or to disable portrait mode.
I don't want to disable portrait mode.
Will Apple accept the books if I tell them this is not an "error?"

Corrupt Text in PDF doc: After editing text in pdf doc. all sorts of text corruptions occurred.
