When syncing my iphone 5 to itunes it says "an unknown error occured (-50) anyone know why please its driving me nuts ?

iphone was flashing apple logo then got it into recovery mode then restore so had to download 7.0.4 and that was successful but got error (21) when restoring it to phone and screen on phone flashed while doing this the went back to recovery mode but this time laptop could not detect the iphone this time when i tried it again it did the same thing constantly PLZ HELP ME!

Do a reset (Hold Sleep/Wake and Home buttons about 10 secs or more till Apple logo appears)
Go to Settings > Store > Apple ID> Sign out then sign in again.
It seems to work
I still get the message (can not connect to iTunes Store) at some updates. But then I can click ok and it updates anyway. Hopefully this can help others with the same problem as well! -

I am using an HP DV9 laptop running Windows 7 Home Premium and the latest iTunes software.
I regularly synch my iphone 4S with my laptop & Outlook.
I recently got the message that an IOS6 upgrade is available & so I scheduled to apply the update.
Everything was running normally when, after the download of the update, backup of my iphone, & applying the update began when
suddenly, iTunes returned with an ERROR MESSAGE as follows:
The iPhone "Ramon's iPhone" could not be updated. An unknown error occurred (1602)
Now, my iphone is stuck with the iTunes icon and the USB image with an arrow pointing to the iTunes
icon.

Help PLEASE!!!!I actually tried the steps below due to the error -5000 I had encountered during the previous tries updating my IOS to 5.1.1

I am unable to connect to the itunes store; I get the message 'Itunes could not be connected to the itunes store. An unknown error occured (-3212). Also when I plug my iphone in to the computer it doesn't ever pick it up please help!!

my ipad 3 is stuck in the "connect to itunes" mode. whether i restart or try to restore. when i try to restore itunes gives an error message saying an unknown error occurred (-1). any help.

Only happened after I got a new iPhone *(upgraded from 4 to 5c) and I downloaded the iOS 8.1.2 update.

This alert occurs when iTunes is trying to do something not allowed by the iTunes Store in that country.
