When to Leave Feedback
Someone please correct me if I am wrong..... As a SELLER, feedback should be left on the basis of good communication and timely payment, am I correct? As a BUYER, feedback should be left if item is as described, received in a timely manner, and you are happy with your purchase. Again, am I correct? What bothers me is either one party or the other either just can't be bothered, or a seller will NOT leave you feedback as a buyer until you leave THEM feedback. I use feedback the way I feel it should be as I have listed above. I think what many of these sellers should realize that as a frequent buyer, I personally will not buy from them again as a result of this, and I'm sure there are more that may agree. It may hurt potential business in the future. Waiting to see if they are left feedback first and only then will they leave you feedback, or retaliate if it's a negative or neutral when it isn't deserved I think is wrong. If I pay immediately, I should receive the appropriate feedback at that time. If I am unhappy for whatever reason (broken item, not received, etc.), I usually instead of leaving a negative or neutral, if after trying to resolve the issue in a respectful manner and am still not happy, I would rather leave the seller without feedback as it doesn't affect their rating, unless I am very wronged. I have only left 1 negative, and it was from a seller that sold me something, had 4 of the same item for sale at the same time, and after 3 weeks, told me she didn't have it, and to go through PayPal myself to get my own refund. It took me another 3 weeks to get the refund as she wouldn't respond to emails from PayPal. She said "you'll get it eventually". She then had the nerve to beg me for positive feedback (for what, I'm not sure to this day). To me, that deserved a negative. It takes a LOT for me to leave a negative. If people do not want to be bothered with feedback, that is their choice. Using it as "blackmail" (I will leave you positive feedback if you do this or do that....) or badgering someone to leave positive feedback is also wrong. I just wish it was used the way it should be. Someone just starting out, it means a lot to build a positive reputation, and when you go out of your way to leave someone feedback and not get any back means, to me, you don't care if you get my business or not. A lot of sellers I deal with now I am repeat buyers from because they take the time to leave me feedback when I pay them right away, and leave their feedback at the appropriate time. I always reciprocate as I know they are also building a reputation as well. It is the only thing that other buyers and sellers have to go by as to whether they can expect a smooth or rocky transaction. I guess my point here is feedback is a very important part of eBay, so please leave appropriate feedback when it is deserved. It means more than you know. Cheers!

On yahoo email, it accepted my login id, but not password. This started on one account about two weeks ago. Today when I tried to login to another yahoo email, which worked yesterday, but it would not accept my password on this account.
I bought some items on ebay and wanted to leave feedback. When I clicked on the leave feedback button a sign in window appeared, this should not have happened, when I tried to sign in, it would not accept my password. I called ebay and was told they have had many complaints from customers using firefox when trying to leave feedback. The help desk suggested I try with Internet Explorer, I did, and it worked perfectly.
I have been using firefox for a long time and really do not want to go back to IE, but when I cannot sign into my accounts, I can't, so I will have to use IE.

Any issues with10.6.5 or 10.6.6 concerning video leave feedback
Just noticing lots of video issues regarding these latest software updates and not sure if everyone is trying to fix the issues here on the forum or going to Apple Retail Stores or calling AppleCare. If you have the time and don't wan't to call applecare or unable to leave feedback about the bugs and issues at apple.com/feedback... most issues like this are not caught though retail stores so it's always good to call in or send feedback in so the engineers can know more about the issue. I know there are apple employees monitoring the boards but not sure if they escalate issues on the board as well so just to have some community feedback will really help out!
I looked at the first one - I see the same behaviour here on 5.1.10
When viewed in Safari, the vimeo iframe code is defaulting to 'HD' from the several HTML5 versions of video available - the oddness around 3.38 (screenshot below) is visible on that version in any browser, or even if downloaded & played in quicktime. Firefox defaults to Flash, here anyway. Switching 'HD' off in the player, loads a different file, without the problems.
I haven't looked in Safari 6 - but it's presumably using a different file.
Vimeo's conversion seems to have slipped up. -
How can a guest leave feedback about the seller?
My question is: How can I leave feedback about a seller if I purchased the item as a guest?I've phoned e-Bay about why there isn't a link in my account to leave a comment, but they say I bought the items from signed in a "guest". I remember now that I forgot what my password was, and instead of trying to find out what it was, I just clicked on the option to "buy as a guest". So now there is no record of my buying anything from the seller in my e-Bay account. My purchase history when I go into my order history is blank. E-Bay told me because there is no item to "click" on in my order history, I can't connect to the Feedback link to leave a comment.E-Bay sent me a link to see the purchase that I made as a guest, but when I click on the "Give feedback" button beside the item I bought, all it does is send me back to my account, where there is no record of the purchase! So all I have done is gone around in a circle, back to the start of the problem again!Is there some way around this, so that I can leave feedback about my seller? He was very prompt about refunding me, and I want others to know how honest he is.Thank you for any help you can offer.
You could send the seller a personal email, letting her know that you were pleased by the transaction, but buying as a guest meant you cannot leave feedback.Feedback is voluntary, but that personal touch will probably mean a lot to her.

Hello Brian, We recently had a not-so-positive and then a positive experience with technical customer service. Out of the blue, we received messages that my daughter was at 75% of her data usage. She has 2 GB and has had that for 2 years without ever, ever going over. First call got us to Brian, who was very rude and simply said that Verizon is never responsible for the charges on a cell phone – it is always the customer’s fault. So, I asked for a Supervisor, which got me Thomas. Unfortunately Thomas had no clue and tried to tell that the charges were due to the update ESO8. Our phone had ESO7 and we didn’t update. He again was not helpful as he basically didn’t understand or want to. Then we got Annabell at Apple. She was very nice and talked me through the issue and possible problems with using that much data in basically 8 days. She then called Holly at Verizon who actually looked at the schedule of data usage and determined it to be downloads on specific days at specific times. Times like 16:48:57 to 17:48:57 – no one has conversations or uses data like that, but a download will. And downloads, of course, didn’t happen on wi-fi. Holly was wonderful. Helped us clean up the phone as we couldn’t tell exactly what was downloaded. Floated us 3 more GB of data until 10/8 when we go back to 2 GB. Jeff and Thomas should never be allowed to talk to your customers again. I was on the phone 2 full hours. If I felt I had a choice I would drop Verizon in a heartbeat. Shame on them. That’s it. How can i extend the battery life of my iphone 4s? when i left 50% it in standby mode when i saw in 5hours it drains to 5% i saw 45%, i thought when i leave the phone the percent is still the same. whant am i goin to do?
I was not aware of the fact one could use ringtones as alarms, this will suffice! Although I foresee some very awkward times as the sound does not stop once I respond to the reminder (it keeps going for good five - ten seconds after I "stop" the reminder), but it's better than missing it altogether!

-Modular747: I don't know anyone who actually reads the terms of service agreement, those things are usually up to thirty, small print pages full of legal jargon. Rules, I do read - not the legal documents (also they often contradict the laws in my country, but that's a whole different story).
I agree with you - the average customer support consultant mostly cares about keeping his job and earning his salary (don't we all?) and thus racking up completted tasks (i.e. getting rid of customers as fast as possible - in a good mood). The "threat" none the less is real, if a cell phone causes me more trouble than it is worth, I will indeed throw it away (I have done so before) - and recommend a different brand to anyone willing to listen.
Don't get me wrong, I love Apple and I've been faithfully using and recommending their producs for twenty years now, not because of fanboyism, but because they earned it. This calendar issue, however, is like a toaster that doesn't automatically eject the toast at the set time. I see it as a major flaw and after googling around a bit I see that it's been around since at least 2007 (THAT'S SEVEN YEARS!!) so I strongly believe they are aware of this problem by now, but are choosing to ignore it for some mysterious reason and it really ****** me off.
I will send the feedback but based on my observations I suspect the Send button is merely a cleverly disguised Delete button. -

Can I do an exit survey when people leave an Adobe Connect meeting?
I'm looking to do an exit survey on Adobe Connect 9. I would like to have participants navigate to an page with a survey when they leave the webinar... is this possible? The only solution I have found so far is to use the "browse to" function in the weblinks and navigate participants there before they leave.
Another question is about recording breakout rooms. Is this possible?

There are several ways to get feedback from your participants:
1. Like you mentioned, use Weblinks pod that will direct them to a website where they can fill the survey.
2. Use one of the Adobe Connect extensions. for instance: Survey SWF (http://www.adobe.com/in/products/adobeconnect/feature-details/survey-swf.html) is one such great extension to create surveys from within your meeting room.
3. Use Poll Pod to get the feedback. Do remember to close the poll after all your participants have filled in as only after closing the poll will the reporting of the poll happen.
4. use Adobe presenter to create a quiz having survey question, reporting of which will also be taken care of by Connect.
Regarding recording the Breakout roms, this aint possible, Only activities in the main meeting room will be recorded.

(FP Bug?) - Mc's/Sprite's events triggered when mouse leaves SWF area
Hi guys,
I wonder if somebody had a similar problem and can help out. I have a button on y=0 (may be either Movieclip or Sprite) with two events: ROLL_OVER and ROLL_OUT. Now when the mouse pointer leaves the SWF area, both of these events get triggered, even if the button is not hovered at all. There is no MOUSE_LEAVE event defined nor anything like that (see the code below). I realized that changing the y position of the button helps, strangely small numbers don't - if I set y=1 the bug still occurs, but y=20 solves the problem. What the hell? This happens only in Firefox on Mac, Safari seems to work alright. (FF 5.0.1 and 6 tested, on OSX 10.6.8 and 10.7)

I can record voice memos fine using the built-in iPhone 4 mic. And my Bluetooth headset (Jawbone Era) works fine when I leave messages on voice mail systems etc. when calling on the iPhone 4, so it appears my headset mic is fine. I can also use voice activated dialing, although it fails miserably interpreting numbers. However, I cannot record voice memos with my Bluetooth mic. I just get barely audible static. Any suggestions? Thanks.
Hello, did you ever get an answer to your question? I just picked up a Jawbone Era and using on an iPhone 4s running 5.0.1. Seems to work fine on regular calls, but not on the built in Voice memos application. It worked fine on my older Jawbone Icon, but haven't tested on the 4s or iOS 5.

Change infotypes end date when delete leaving action for employee

I created new infotype and when employee leaves its end date is changed for leaving date.
When leaving action is deleted ther is some least of infotypes that user can sign so the end date of selected infotypes will be changed to 31.12.9999. How can i add my infotipe to this list?

Maintain IT 0041 where in that table maintain employee start date of hiring and leaving date of employee bze in IT 0000 the dates will change as per action lets say if employee hire that date will be in IT 0000 action and if employee gets promotion date or leaving date that will store in IT 0000 by delimiting other actions
So maintain IT 0041 where you can pull dates from there if you maintain
End date will always be 31.12.9999 so check action start date you will get in sequence

I have an ipod touch 5th gen. storage capacity is 27.9 / 23.3 available. IOS 7.1.2 model # ME978LL/A. My question is, now this may sound dumb. But i was wanting to know if there is a app or a monthly subscription to have internet connection or wi-fi at all times instead of just shutting my ipod off very few apps work without internet connection almost dosen't seem worth 300 dollars. Your internet connection depends on access to a wifi network. When you leave your house you go out of range of your own network, so the only way to connect is to find a free or paid public wi-fi service in the location you are in at the time; the alternative is to use your iPhone for what is called 'tethering' (providing a wifi signal you iPod can connect to) but it you have an iPhone you would want to use that anyway (and many service providers don't allow it - in any case it comes expensive as you are using a mobile data connection).

Well, my friend and I just received this 1st generation iPod Touch from a man at our church. He said we could sell it. However, it has some problems. For example, when I leave it alone, it cuts off completely, Then, I have to hold the home and power button for about ten seconds so the Apple symbol will come on the screen and I then know that it is coming on. Can someone help me with the problem?

How can you keep your iPhone 4 (using it as my car's iPod) staying on the Audible app? When I leave the car and return to continue hearing a book, it has switched to iTunes.
The first time an iPhone is connected to iTunes that is used to sync with another iPhone or iOS device, you are prompted to transfer the backup for the other iPhone or iOS device or to set up the iPhone as a new iPhone.
The former does as provided - it transfers the backup for the other iPhone or iOS device to the iPhone replacing all data on the iPhone that is included with the backup being transferred. The latter does nothing allowing you to make your various selections for the iPhone sync preferences with iTunes.
This is designed to be done right away with a new iPhone.
If you don't have a backup for the iPhone with iTunes on your computer and don't have an iCloud backup that hasn't been updated since choosing to transfer the backup for your iPod Touch to the iPhone, the data that was on the iPhone is gone. -
