When to restart the services OC4J_BI_FORMS & HTTP_SERVER
During the deployment of our application on the 10G application server, we generally make entries in the following files:
1) Default. 2) fmrweb.res 3) forms90 4) formsweb and 5) registry files.
but i am not sure changes into which files needs me to restart the
1)OC4J_BI_FORMS
2) HTTP_SERVER.
as of now i am just restarting these services whenever i make any changes in formsweb file.
As I only can see that you made changes to Forms files, then you only need to restart the OC4J_BI_FORMS for the files mentioned:
opmnctl restartproc ias-component=OC4J_BI_FORMSHowever, most changes in formsweb.cfg doesn´t need a restart.

If you have back up of essbase.sec then replace it and restart the services or you need to create the essbase.sec file from starting.

Up next doesn't seem to work properly with multiple speakers over airplay. The status bar on the computer shows the song playing, but not over airplay. When I restart the song it plays, but the same thing happens when the next song cues up. Any ideas?

sapsprint is installed on one windows server say print server.
is any error occurs and sapsprint is hang then it affect to next spool request and it's not printed until you restart the sapsprint service.

Webservice disappear when I restart the weblogic 8.1 server

Tools I have Used:
web-logic Application Server 8.1 ,
Eclipse 3.2 with the WTP2.0 plug-in ,
Axis-1.4
I have developed one web service for soap with attachments as well as client to retrieve these attachment and it is working fine, but the problem is that when I deploy the web service on the weblogic8.1 with sp6 and when I restart the weblogic8.1 Application Server the service is disappeared and I have to again Deploy the service in order to consume it.
Please Help me out to come out of this problem.

Rahul.Actually I have used Eclipse WTP 2.0 and its wizard for deploying the service to weblogic8.1 server and it is working like moving the ear to the weblogic server after deployment and It also displays the webservice on the weblogic console after I restart server, But when I use client to access service it will display error like Target Service not found.
Once again I deploy service then It will not give error like that when I consume the service.
Everything above is working fine with the Tomcat Apache 5.5 server.
I have try out that, but creates problem with the weblogic 8.1 server. -

I have logged to Weblogic server and checked, the foundation service is not started.
We dont have the backup of installation folder.
I manually edited the user name and password and started the services, but no luck.
Do any one idea about processBootProperties.cmd, shall i trigger it to get the new boot.properties.

I updated my iMac to Mountain Lion. All the files were deleted. I have Time Machine backups. When I restart the mac pressing Command R to restore it from the backup it shows the previous OS X (Leopard) beside the date of the backup that I want to select. Will it go back to Leopard if I restore it from the backup?
No, it won't revert to the prior OS X but you you may have third party apps installed that were compatible with Lion that may not be compatible with Mountain Lion.

I have a set of 3 USB disks connected to my Time capsule (TC) via a USB hub. I usually switch the TC at night. When I restart the next day it stucks in amber state. When I disconnect the USB hub where my discs connects and restart, the TC will start properly. Any hints?
LOL.. don't switch off the TC.. this is fairly typical behaviour..
Or try a different usb hub.. but you could well and truly run out of hubs before you fix the problem.
Are you running latest firmware for your TC?
What error message is coming up in the airport utility.. amber led is a fault indicator.. look up what the actual fault is and see if it is for instance overloading the usb. You are using a powered hub??
Get one bigger USB hard disk instead of 3 smaller ones. -
Very slow start when initially entering the service ticket in Web UI (2007)
We seem to encounter a very slow start when initially entering the service ticket in Web UI (2007). Once in all seems speedy enough. I don't have my access arrange for the Service marketplace (OSS notes) yet so can't check if there is a known solution, which I suspect there is. Has anyone encountered this problem and possibly resolved it?.

A)I didn't specify any persistent mode.so i believe default mode is "Persistent"
B) when i click on durable subscribers link on the corrersponding Topic it is showing 2 users.
actually these durable subscribers are created by executing below code after look up the Topic.
TopicSubscriber tsub = ts.createDurableSubscriber(topic,"mysub");
C) Delivery Mode Override is set to "No-Delivery".
but Time-to-Live Override is set to 21600000 .
i assume Time-to-Live is causing problem.

I've tried to upgrade to Snow Leopard 10.6.3. I run the full install and my computer restarts to complete the installation, but when it restarts the software has not upgraded. Any suggestions?
Are you booting from the retail disc to do the installation, or running it while booted from Macintosh HD?
It should work either way, but it doesn't always work when booted from Macintosh HD. The system files are supposed to be moved into place during the restart (while the HD is unmounted) making for a long restart time which sometimes causes people to think somethings wrong and abort it. Which is a bad move.
If you're booting from the retail disc it's less obvious what the problem may be; however if you've tried it from booted from the HD and it's failed, then tried booting from the disc, it will fail again because the system components are already on the HD in a disc image waiting to be moved into place.
Whichever way you were tryig, I'd try downloading OmnDiskSweeper (it's free) and using it to see if there's a large package (around 7-10 GB) lurking somewhere that may contain the installer files. If you do, you'll need to trash that before the installer will see a 'clean' system again.
It's also worth asking how much free space you have on your HD - if there's not enough for the installer to use for the temporary package or dmg, it'll fail.
Was there no warning dialogue after the unsuccessful install?

When I restart the browser, its not opening the previously opened tabs even though I saved before closing the browser. This problem was not there in the older versions less than 3.6.8. Even the browser speed has gone down. This is everyday problem with this browser.

I tried to update the software overnight, and it was still in the beginning stages of the progress bar when I woke up. When I restarted the process I have to restore the phone, its again stuck in the beginning of the process. Does anyone know how long this should take? The beginning sections seemed to fly by.
