Got new computer with windows 8.1 and installed latest itunes, went to update music library on my nano 5th gen and plugged in recognized in my library but when it synced , it said sync was complete but did not update at all, then reset the ipod to factory , BIG MISTAKE plugged in again and it did the same thing except now I have no music on at all it syncs but will not put any music on , previous computer had xp on it, what would the problem be and what would solution be????

I have purchased an new computer with the Windows 8.1 OS. The old computer had Windows Vista and is just about to quit working altogether. I wish to uninstall it on that computer and deactivate it; so that I may install the software that I purchased (some years ago, but hardly used) on my new computer. Yep, as the topic says, I need help. is there any way at all that I can get a code for my photoshop Elements 7 so I could use it again? I have the CD right here with me it came in a Bamboo Pen and Touch set a long time ago as part of a software package and I was younger then so I didn't exactly register up with adobe or anything.... Please any help would be great! I'd really like to start drawing again.
It isn't likely that much can be done since you appear to have no proof of ownership. In any case, you need to contact Adobe Support either by chat or via phone when you have serial number and activation issues.

Well, shucks, i just spent almost 30 minutes trying to find your model user guide to explain it better, I guess they never got around to making it.....
I would just borrow another Windows disk and try installing it again and if it does it again then you might take it to an Apple Store and see if one of the "Genius' " can figure it out.
Make sure your internet is enabled and click on your blank desktop and at the top of your screen is a Help menu option, enter PRAM and it should give you a list of things relating to Pram. It may take a few seconds to list anything as it has to connect to Apples severs first. It should list the things you may have to fill back in when your done.
"P-ram" stores some common information that is used in the background, your date, time, startup disk, etc, that you don't have to re-fill when you restart, it's a little different for each computer. -
Trouble installing Photoshop CS3 on a new computer with Windows 8.1
I tried to install it but strange things happened. It shows up on the install/uninstall list but not on the desktop or My PC. I found CS3 on my new computer by accident when I called up an unrelated file. The computer wants me to take CS3 on a 30 day trial, which I don't need. When trying to upgrade my CS3 the computer does not let me indicate I am upgrading from CS3, only C or C2. Please advise. David Hayward.

Brand new laptop with windows 7 premium and adobe 9.3.3 wont load
Ok im lost I have a brand new computer fresh copy of win 7 premium and downloaded Adobe reader.9. It will not even start in windows. The cursor shows busy then just doesn't do anything not even a splash screen and will not even open if I click on a pdf file either also IE8 will not allow it to open in a browser period I changed permissions in Norton to allow it enabled pdf linker in IE8 but still get an error saying closing explorer due to security reasons. It also cannot find a solution. I've uninstalled repaired and nothing either. help!!!!!!
p.s. I seatched the forums but nothing about adobe not even loading or splash screen not even showing.Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

I am trying to install my CS4 Suite onto new PC with Windows 8. It installed Photoshop but nothing else. It is asking me to "Install with 'setup.exe'" Which i dont think is on there. Is there a way around this? Thanks in advance.
Run the cleaner tool and reinstall with sufficient user privileges and security stuff turned off. Your install went wrong because you didn't consider this.

Trying to Install Photoshop CS2, which I bought several years ago, on a new computer with Windows 8.1? Adobe uploaded me a version that it says doesn't require activation, but it doesn't work!
Your advice to use the serial number provided by Adobe is right on point.
The only thing special I've done that's not typical is that I have UAC disabled, which does serve to make a system more compatible with older software (and with old geeks like me who prefer to be full-time admins).
When I installed Photoshop CS2, it just went in and worked. I didn't think twice about it.

I am getting error 205 while trying to install Creative Cloud. I already had chated with support, Uninstalled CC and tried to install it again. From the Adobe site, the page keeps loading eternally, from the previous installer, it gives me error 205. What to do? Give up on CC?

When trying to install apps from app store it does not prompt an apple id and after 15 minutes says "cannot connect to itunes store".
Your Apple ID may be greyed out because of restrictions. Settings>General>Restrictions>Allowed Changes>Accounts. If you set that restriction, your ID will be greyed out. Nobody can make changes to the account without entering the passcode to change disable the restriction.
Maybe something in here will help, even though this is not exactly what you are experiencing.
