When trying to upload a document or attach a document in an email Firefox gives me an error "Failed to load CTDFMRES.dll" and stops responding, I have no issues in any other browsers. And I am using Firefox 4, Fixes???

You don't have to disable any addons or extentions!!!You guys are not going to believe this I figured out the problem it's really dumb...ok here goes the attachment uploader loads seperate so I got to thinking it's a popup so I went to options content and under block pop ups there is an option exceptions click on that and in the box type firefox.com and hit allow pow its fixed!!!!! :-)

Normally the voltage difference is not a problem because the charger can handle both.
I am not sure about the adapter plug: the wall sockets in UK and USA may be different, use a simple (earthed!) adapter for that if necessary.
The rest should be the same, although two keys on the keyboard might be different (@ is shift-2, try to find the other...).

It is as if the server has decided that the client has timed out during the file upload. The default setting is 30 seconds for AcceptTimeout in the magnus.conf file. This should be ample to get the file across, even increasing this to 2 minutes just produces the same error after 2 minutes. Any help appreciated. Apologies if this is not the correct forum for this, I couldn't see one for iPlanet and Web, many thanks, Kieran.

You didnt mention which version of IWS. follow these steps.
(1)Goto Web Server Administration Server, select the server you want to manage.
(2)Select Preference >> Perfomance Tuning.
(3)set HTTP Persistent Connection Timeout to your choice (eg 180 sec for three minutes)
(4) Apply changes and restart the server.
*Setting the timeout to a lower value, however, may prevent the transfer of large files as timeout does not refer to the time that the connection has been idle. For example, if you are using a 2400 baud modem, and the request timeout is set to 180 seconds, then the maximum file size that can be transferred before the connection is closed is 432000 bits (2400 multiplied by 180)

Indeed, I was unaware of the enormous number of options that can be selected when converting a WORD file to PDF.
I went thru the settings and found the right one for embedding the fonts.

I've disabled firewall and all antivirus apps to no effect.
This happens with v3 and v4.
IE works fine.

Yes, excuse me. attach a file. I have separate folders on my desktop to organize my word documents, so I'm guessing this might be a part of the problem. When I go to attach one of these documents into gmail, the resulting attachment is another folder icon (not the original organizational folders) with 4 subfolders containing a slew of .xml files reading things like "header.xml" "format.xml" "settings.xml" "style.xml" "contenttype.xml" There are also a few .jpegs and a small folder reading "word" as one of the subfolders.

Firefox does not respond when trying to upload photos or files to Facebook, Google+, or similar sites.

When trying to upload photos to various websites, Firefox brings up the pop up to view and select locations on your computer, but it never fully loads, it just kinda freezes, never allowing you to select files. I eventually get a 'This program is not responding' message and have to force close.

Maybe the link I had 1st time had a bug or something... I had installed it, restarted computer and all, exactly same process... and it had done nothing.
But download page wasn't the same. Real weird.
Good thing is, now it works!

I can not print from Firefox, but can from all other browsers and applications (such as MS Word, notepad, etc.). I get a print error on the printing monitor like it's a spooling problem.

This is a recent development but I can not print anything from within Firefox. The print functions open normally, it is going to the correct printer which works..I can print from other browsers and applications. It acts like it is spooling and then a print error occurs and it won't print. I closed and reopened Firefox, opened it in safe mode, cleaned out history/cache/cookies, and rebooted twice. Nothing makes any difference. Also tried printing from the print preview which had the same result. I can print from all other browsers and applications without a problem so it must be within Firefox.

But when trying to upload a photo in iphoto I found the library folder in Users. I can see my doc in Office 2011 Autorecovery, but can't access it! How do I get User to show Library then I can get to my long lost document?

The auto recovery dat should be in the Microsoft User Data folder in your documents folder, not in the Library. However, I Haven't had to look recently.

I am now getting the device uses too much power error when trying to upload pictures from my Nikon Coolpix. It had worked fine using the Apple camera kit, but just started giving this error. What changed?

Oh no! I am saddened to hear that you are having troubles with your MMS pictures. I know that this can be an important thing to be able to do. I appreciate you working with us to get this matter resolved as well. I see that you have spent time working with us, and I know that can also be frustrating. There are a few things we can check though. Are these to any specific numbers or all? A factory reset certainly should've resolved this. Bob - I'm basing this answer on my epub, not my iAuthor experience. When I get an odd error message like that, it usually means I have a graphic lingering about that is not not actually used. Here's how I would go about locating it in iBooks Author: First I would turn on Show Layout Boundaries and Show Invisibles in the View menu. Then starting at the beginning, I would go page by page – clicking on the page – and doing a Select All (Command-A). If an unused item appears, I would delete it. Then when you are satisfied, re-upload the file.
As I say, this is speculation based on my epub experience, so take it for what you think it's worth. Cheers. - Fabe
