When you buy a season pass for a TV show, do you rent or own the videos?
I want to get get a TV show, but I was curious if I got a season pass, do I own the videos, or are they just being rented to me?

If you buy a season pass of a show, you own it. You can download each episode from within the season as it becomes available by clicking on "downloads" in iTunes. Hope this helps!

I bought a season pass for eight episodes of the tv show World's Toughest Trucker. Discovery cancelled the show after four episodes. My purchase was made after the show had been cancelled but I didn't know that at the time. The missing four episodes do exist, as the show was produced and shown in the UK. Help.Considering the hundreds of people that use this forum and likely bought a season today alone it really isn't an unanswerable question. However I'll take the lack of an answer as ineptitude rather than ignorance.

I recently purchased a season pass for a TV show on my apple tv I downloaded the first episode and when I went to watch it it started to download again and is now frozen at "ready to watch in 44 minutes"????? I have had it do the reloading process on an entire season of another show (very frustrating) but have never had it freeze up like this? any help out there?
There is no accessible storage so that is why it needs to reload. The time it take is dependent on your network. Not sure why it is freezing this time but you may want to try a reboot (hold the menu and down arrow for a few seconds until the light starts flashing and then release)

I'm having trouble buying a season pass for The Americans. I have purchased passes to Justified for the past 4 years with no problem. Can't figure out why this purchase won't work.
What is the problem that you are having ? If you are getting an error message then what does it say ?

Why cannot I download an episode after I purchase the Complete Season Pass for a TV show?
The iTunes on my iPhone won't allow me to purchase Complete Season Pass for a TV show. After I click the Buy Season Pass button, I got an alert dialog saying, "Cannot Download: There is not enough available storage to download 'Supernatural, Season 7'. You can manage your storage in settings."
My iPhone has 12.4 GB available in the storage, and my iCloud has 24 GB out of 25 GB available. I don't quite understand what is actually the issue. Why is the iTunes not allowing me to purchase the Complete Season Pass? Is it because I don't have enough storage available on my iPhone to download all episodes of the TV show? If so, why can't I just buy the pass then download a particular episode I want without having to download them all?
Can you help me figure out what the issue is?

When buying a season pass to a tv show how can I Download select episodes?
I don't have enough space to download all the episodes of eureka season 4 at the same time but when I click on buy season pass it just tells me that, I just want to download what I can fit for now then delete them and download the next ones, how can I do this?
The makers of the show have not provided it to itunes yet.

I am trying to change my country from Australia to Canada however when I try to it says that I have an incomplete season pass however the season pass is actually complete. Can anyone help please? It's driving me bonkers!

If I already have episodes downloaded then buy a season pass will I be charged the whole price?
I have already bought tv episodes on a current tv series, but if I buy the season pass for that series will I be charged the full season pass price? Or will I just be charged with the episodes I do not have yet?

If you purchase a Season Pass for a TV show season, which you already own many or all of those episodes of that season, you WILL pay the full price for all of the episodes of the season, and it will probably download again the episodes you already have.
It doesn't work like complete my album, where you get the price off the songs you already bought.
So, to get the best deal, buy the season pass at the very start of the season.
If you already have lots of episodes for a season, it is best to purchase the rest of the episodes of the season individually, if the total cost of all of those individuals is less than the season pass price.

I purchased a season pass for Fringe this morning on my Apple TV, but having just seen the overnight ratings (2.1), I've realised it might not get a full season order.
Do Apple credit your account in this case? If so, when?
(P.s I know I'm jumping the gun, but I'm curious)They refunded my multi-pass for The Tonight Show back when NBC pulled out of the iTunes store, so I would expect them to do the same for a season pass if a show is canceled mid-season. If that happens, find the season pass in your iTunes purchase history, click on the "Report a Problem" button, and raise the issue with them.

When is Apple going to fix the season pass for tv shows (The Walking Dead Season 2 for me)?
Apple do you ever plan on fixing the season pass system?
I can not download The Walking Dead episode three. This isn't the first show this has happened to me.
It's frustrating since one would think you would work extra hard to make sure your season pass holders are happy. Afterall we pay for a whole season up front as compared to your other customers and the savings we get from buying a season pass are minimal. It's not like we are paying half off the season price.
A little consideration in regards to those of us paying up front would be appreciated.Feedback falls on deaf ears, it would seem, given I know that many of us have used that avenue. And no, I haven't noticed the other 90+ missing features, as I am unable to use the program due to it not being compatible with Endnote. And yes, at present I am using Pages 09 whilst waiting for a fix.
I don't at all mean to diminish the importance of anyone elses frustration and complaint about a feature that has gone or no longer works. This one is mine . And for me and a large number of users it makes the program unusable. Endnote is a program used by many universities and other institutions and relied on by many staff and students worldwide. I just think that when an issue means you can no longer use the software, I would have hoped for some sort of indication from Apple that there will be a fix. But perhaps the features you mention also make the program unusable?
Anyway, maybe I'll give a review a go...... -
I inadvertenly clicked on HD when purchasing a season's pass for a tv show, In the midst of the download of the first episode I discovered my mistige. How can I change the purchase to SD before it downloads any more episodes?
Apologies if this is an off-target question, but had you bought the HD season originally or just the SD version?
The reason I ask is that I have had similiar difficulties with the autodown load and when I check for available downloads on season passes, it says all downloaded.
Then, when I go to the store and search for the season, it first brings up the HD season indicating I would need to make a new purchase, but if I select on SD, there are my purchases and I can freely (and manually) download the latest episode without new cost.
Needless to say, neither of us should have to go looking. Here is the iTunes technical support email: <[email protected]>. I encourage you to email them. I have already done so but I think it helps for anyone with this problem to also do so, so that they will realize it is a wider spread issue and not a human error by a single user. -
When can I purchase the season pass for "The Secret Millionaire" Seasons 1 and 2??

I see every TV show has multiple seasons. This not right.
I am sure that there are more individuals like me who want to watch quality TV shows.
BrianWe are all just fellow users here and have no more idea than you do why any given item is not available. It's almost certainly an issue of rights, since the iTunes Store can sell only what they can license, but why ABC cannot or will not grant the rights is something no one here will know.

I have bought a Season pass for The Big Bang Theory. I have downloaded alle recent Epiodes without any Problems. But now... i can't download the latest Version for free. Itunes doesn't recognize my Season pass and let's me buy it again. Whats going? Do I miss something?

Will my Season Pass (for TV show) continue to download even when I travel to another country?
In a few weeks, I'll be traveling and living in China for a year.... Of course this means I'll be missing the excellent Fall lineup of TV shows, but iTunes would theoretically help me with that.
So my question is that if I download the season passes for let's say "Scandal" and "Agents of Shield," would I be able to continue downloading them off the cloud while in China? Or would I have to wait until I get back in the US? I'm not sure how the cloud works in China specifically, so any help would be much appreciated.Hi,
