The camera takes a picture but the picture (video) doesnt appear in my Photos and therefore is not saved!

I recently upgraded my 27" iMac from Mac OS 10.6.8 to Mavericks 10.0.1. Now my finder freezes all the time, usually when transfering a file from one folder to another. Most recently I simply double clicked on my Macintosh HD icon and got the spinning beach ball. I then am forced to force the computer to shut down, and start up again.
Sounds like the backup you're using to restore from is corrupt. Restoring from a corrupt backup will continue to restore the problem. I'd suggest you start fresh and delete all of your current iPhone backups(there should only be one). You can delete them here: iTunes>Preferences>Devices.

My friends iPhone 6 Plus has lines going through the screen. Does anyone else have this problem?
Help? There are white lines going through the right side of screen. I reset the phone and restored it, I don't think its software.

I am seeing from last 2-3 days or i realized in last 2-3 days but am keeping seeing every 1-2 hrs apart the lines keep coming and phone also acting especially in the areas of touch response. I am on latest 8.1.3 version .
At least i know that i am not alone. -

On my machine it seems that the fi ligature doesn't exist with Times New Roman (installed version is 5.01.3x)
It's available in Warnock Pro but the st one which is designed in Warnock doesn't apply.

Hi, at the moment I can only seem to watch a rented movie once - previously I used to be able to watch it as many times as I liked during the 48hr window. Anyone else have this problem?
This doesn't seem right.
I paid for a rental and downloaded an HD movie, Avatar. I could start watching within about a minute, it played without skipping a beat.
My wife started watching the movie the next night and got about half way through.
The next day, she tried watching the rest, and selected the film and clicked on "resume watching".
But instead of streaming and playing like it should, we got the spinning wheel of death followed by a message "Ready to play in 1 minute" which soon became "Ready to play in 2351 minutes"!
Additional information that I can add is that it was Sunday afternoon which is peak time for internet usage and I'd just exhausted my data allowance before the speed limiting kicks in. Basic internet using browsers at that time was really slow.
So it was as though the movie we were going to resume watching was going to be downloaded from the iTunes Store again, and since my connection had been speed limited, it was going to take forever. I thought you downloaded a rental to your hard drive and it deleted itself after it expired? So any subsequent streaming to AppleTV would be coming direct from your hard drive. It shouldn't have been affected by the speed of my internet connection at that time, surely. Anyone else experienced this?

When i'm using facetime or skype video chat, the camera would work just fine for about 5-10mins and then it starts to blink and then just turns into a black screen. Does anyone else have this problem? HELP!

Half the ebooks I have bought from iTunes have large sections or complete chapters missing from them which is beginning to seriously irritate. Does anyone else have this problem or it is something to do with the downloading. In which case does anyone have an answer?
You should be able to delete and redownload them via the bookshelf in the iBooks app : tap the Edit button top right of the shelf, select and delete the books, then go into the Store via the button top left of the bookshelf, and in the Purchased tab (bottom right of the store) find and re-download the books.
If they re-download in the same state then try the 'report a problem' link from your purchase history : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via Store > View My Account and you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it ; click on that and you should see a list of your purchases ; find those books and use the 'Report a Problem' link. -
Hello. Layer masks aren't working with Photoshop CC... The brushes gave out, and now the gradients too. Anyone else have this problem?
Will someone from Adobe please answer if this is a bug.. as I've seen other users post the same issue.
thanks!I'm experiencing the same issue too. I can't see to use the brush in my clipping mask the same way. It works for a moment, then several minutes in to production it ends up crashing.
I hope this issue is resolved soon. It's definitely frustrating and delaying my production time. -
Apple tv3 runs slowly on all apps in the box,after the last update.Picture sometimes run's slowly on netflix ,and all the apps in the apple tv3 box.But the sound is ok.Anyone else have this problem?I have a 20Mbit wireless line,but i had put a cable from my router to my apple box,but it did not help.
Are you using a home network?
Try the following :
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Power off and then back on the router
- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings -

Location services is NOT running all the time, only when the arrow appears in the message bar. It is not a major consumer of power unless you are actively using it (such as using the Maps app), and even then it is a minor factor in battery life; loading maps is the big user of power in the Maps app. And turning off Location Services defeats Find my iPhone.
There are only 2 heavy battery consumers, cellular data and interactive games. Everything else (bluetooth, location services, WiFi, etc) are tiny in comparison to these and will not make a significant difference in battery life. -
I purchase songs from Itunes and as soon as I sync my phone, the song gets deleted. Does anyone else have this problem or know how to fix it?
I have random songs that a have paid for but they just disappear, or cannot be downloaded and so on. Sometimes they are indexed wrongly, and can't be found because of that, no work around because also the search function of itunes has gotten totally unusable. Not much fun to be an apple user anymore. I once used to be a very loyal user. My first apple was a Macintosh SE and an image writer II.

I am suddenly having a problem printing 4x6 photos. The print as though starting in the middle of an 8x10 sheet. I've checked and double-checked the print settings. Anyone else have this problem?
