Should I buy the 2011 Mac Mini?

I have for long been waiting to buy a mac mini, but I was waiting and hoping that apple would release a new model yesterday on WWDC. But they didn't, so now I don't know what to do.
Is there a chance that the Mac mini will be updated as well soon?
Or should I just get the 2011 model?
Please don't refer me to the "mac buyers guide", they only count days, not very reliable.
But I would really appreciate your opinion, should I wait or go for the current model?

Hi, my old MBP died a couple of days ago, and I rushed to get a new one, as I needed to finish some projects. I discovered I can´t run Final Cut Studio 3 and none of my Adobe Creative Suite CS3 on it. Which means I am still stuck, in Germany, unable to work, and with an OS that´s totally useless to me.
I tried to figure out the best way to get Leopard on this machine, but it seems quite a challenge, and I am just thinking to take it back to the shop. Where would I be able to get an older one, new, possibly not refurbished?

Any refurbished, early 2011 MacBook Pro, sold by Apple, can have Snow Leopard installed on it. There's a good chance these will ship with Lion preinstalled, but if you can get the model specific install & applications disks from Apple, you can install Snow Leopard on any of these computers. You can only get these disks from AppleCare. But, if you want a recent MacBook Pro, and want Snow Leopard, other than used, this is a good choice.

I have been reading reviews regarding the new CMOS cameras and it turns out they perform as well as 3 chip cameras. The advantage of CMOS is you need much less light than the thirst for light triple chippers and the color green is now accurately reproduced by a single CMOS, something single CCDs could not do. If you can locate one of these babies in the Mini DV flavor than Bob's your uncle. Unfortunately the masses have spoken and mini DV is slowly becoming extinct.

thats way to expensive it doubles or triplicates the price of the game... boot camp is another option but the last time it destroy my hard drive... (40 USD the repair)

Where can I find a 2010 Mac Pro replacement battery?

Every time I google BR 2032 battery, I get links to Cr 2032 batteries. My Mac Pro owners manual specifies BR 2032 for a replacement - i would be very grateful for any info.

The BR2032 is commonly used in car key fobs and garage door openers.
The CR2032 is less expensive, but has a much narrower temperature range and drains more quickly. It is an acceptable (if not quite as good) alternative if you are stuck.

Can you use PC-1066 memory in 2011 Mac Mini?

I have a Mid-2010 Macbook Pro 15" with the standard 4Gb of PC-1066 and I'm looking into buying the 2011 Mac Mini base model.
Now, if I purchase 8Gb of PC-1066 for my MBP, is the Mini compatible with the PC-1066 memory? I know both the MBP and Mini use the same form factor memory, but the Mini takes PC-10600. With PCs, this sort of backwards compatibility is pretty standard but I'm still pretty new to Macs and I'm not sure how fickle they are.
Anyone know if you can use PC-1066 in place of PC-10600 in the Mac Mini?

Works physically, but the 1066MHz RAM is a lower speed than the 1333MHz RAM that 2011 Mini uses.
Personally I'd leave the MacBook as is and order the correct upgrade for the Mini.

I know some good solutions to a lot of problems with Mac Pros. And other readers know a whole lot more solutions.
I do not know of any problem that can be solved by replacing these boards in a nearly-new Mac Pro. The processor board is sold as a bare board, with no processors or heatsinks. It takes an hour of trained technician time just to install the processors and heat sinks, and you MUST get the correct parts or it will not work. If your technique is not correct, the processor(s) will self destruct when you power them up.
The mainboard does not include the SATA connectors, which are actually on a wiring harness that is attached from behind.
What problem are you trying to solve here?

VGA is an analog signal HDMI is digital. A simple cable would not work you would need something that converts the analog signal to digital.
A search of VGA to HDMI turned up a few possibilities but nothing specific. In any case the picture on the TV will not be very good given the source.
You should check to see if the TV has a VGA input. Some TV's have a computer connection port and this is usually VGA.
