Where can I buy a charger for an ipod mini 1st generation

I believe that is a 4th gen iPod.  When you say "charger," do you mean the USB docking cable?  Or do mean a USB power adapter that you connect to a wall outlet to charge the iPod?
If it's the docking cable, it's the standard USB docking cable

If you happen to have a Mac with a FireWire port, the 4th gen iPod actually ALSO works (better) over a FireWire connection.  But you'll have to look for an old FireWire docking cable on eBay (or other online source).
If you are asking about a USB power adapter, this is the lowest power version from Apple, and it works with the 4th gen iPod.

    Try:
    - iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
    - Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode
How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
    - If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
    - Try another cable
    - Try on another computer
    - If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

    and maybe:
    Not Charge
    - See:

iPhone and iPod touch: Charging the battery
    - Try another cable. Some 5G iPods were shipped with Lightning cable that were either initially defective or failed after short use.
    - Try another charging source
    - Inspect the dock connector on the iPod for bent or missing contacts, foreign material, corroded contacts, broken, missing or cracked plastic.
    - Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store.

Where can i buy a a/c adapter( to plug into the wall and play an charge) for HMDX Jam wireless speaker...model HX-P230E. Its a 5VDC 500 ma

If it's the localised plug part that is broken you don't need to exactly replace it but in its stead use a standard C8 (figure 8) power cord. If you don't have one spare you can always get a really cheap one from most stores that carry electrical cables such as Radio Shack, Walmart etc etc.

  • Where can I buy DX-1 Storm 9530 batteries?

I'm temporarily using my VZW Storm 9530 (2008 model) mobile phone. However, since this is the worst phone ever made in history, I have to remove the battery and charge it in a seperate docking station. Where can I buy official DX-1 batteries? It appears most, if not all, of vendors available on retail sites like "Amazon" are fraudulent organizations.

  • Where can I buy a ringtone that sounds like a phone?

I would like a ringtone that sounds like the phone on the Apple commercial. Where can I buy one? I'm over 30 y/o and I don't want music as a ringtone. Is that too much to ask?
I had one before I updated my Itunes, but Apple removed it from MY phone.
    Thank you

Have to agree that while I love the iPhone, don't mind AT&T, am fine with it locked down and I never plan on hacking, when it comes to ringtones I feel Apple is just asking too much. Ok, I know the record industry won a court case saying a ringtone is a new work of art different from the original (which I disagree with) which gives them the law on their side saying they can charge for it (record industry wanted it this way as the artist doesn't get money from ringtone sales since they are considered a different work of art). But if I can make an MP3 myself (record my wife talking or record an old phone) then put it in iTunes and put it in my iPod player, why can I not put it as a ringtone since I legally own it. I made it thus not even the record industry can say I am stealing a piece of their work. On every phone that I owned since they had custom ringtones I have been able to put my own ringtones in free of charge (without hacking). I have always had recordings of my wife saying "Hey, sexy, your phone is ringing" or something similar. I hate that I cannot now when I have what I feel the best phone out right now.
Sorry Apple, I am on your side with all the bad PR coming your way about everything else, but Ringtones, come on. Go ahead and charge if iTunes knows it is your format and bought from your store thus you know the ringtone technically is the record guys art thus you have to charge to keep them happy, but if it is an MP3, technically you have no way of knowing if it is something you can charge for so just let it be free. You will make less money yes but there are plenty of non computer folks that just use iTunes and all thier stuff is from you and they will pay for ringtones.
Also, my wife (and I) was upset that we own a CD and I ripped it to MP3 and we own the songs legally, and she wanted a ringtone of one of the songs. Went to iTunes and saw I can make one (icon) but I couldn't click it because I would have to first buy the track from you (though I already have my copy) before I can opt to buy again a ringtone. You try to claim the price is .99 for a ringtone, but for everybody that had music before you guys, ringtones actually cost $2 if we want anything we already own.

  • Where can I buy a larger hard drive for my late 2008, 15" macbook pro?  From reviewing questions and answers on the support community it would appear that having Apple remove the old and install the new hard drive is recommended.  But how/where?

Where can I buy a larger hard drive for my late 2008, 15" macbook pro?  From reviewing questions and answers on the support community it would appear that having Apple remove the old and install the new hard drive is recommended.  But how/where?

    Welcome to Apple Support Communities
You can install the new hard disk yourself if you want to. You just need a 2'5" SATA II hard drive, which is compatible with your MacBook Pro. You can buy one at OWC > http://eshop.macsales.com/shop/hard-drives/2.5-Notebook/ You can filter hard drives by computer, so press a "Click to view all...", choose your computer in the sidebar and it will give you the compatible hard drives.
There are different brands for the MacBook Pro. The most recommended are HGST and Seagate, which have good reputation. A 7200 rpm hard drive will give you extra performance

  • Where can I buy a genuine apple replacement battery (A1309) for my Mid 2010 17" Macbook Pro?

Where can I buy a genuine apple replacement battery (A1309) for my Mid 2010 17" Macbook Pro? There are used batteries on ebay that don't appear genuine. There are some third-party knock offs. The apple store seems to believe they can replace it, but I have to make a reservation at the silly Genius Bar just to have them tell me how much it's gonna cost, not to mention then likely wait for them to order the battery and install it. I'm perfectly capable of installing it myself. I just need to know where I can order it?
    Thanks,
    Andrew

Yeah, that's what I've finally decided. I was kidna super frustrated because the first apple store I called wouldn't even tell me a price or tell me if they could replace the battery without a Genius Bar appointment, and as I would have to take off work and drive acros town--and I don't have a car so I'd have to borrow one--that was pretty annoying. That call left me pricing linux laptops. I called another store to see if I'd have better luck, and the initial answer was the same, but the girl relented under some trying-to-be-nice-but-clearly-annoyed pressure, and she gave me the answers I needed: yes, they should have the battery in stock and it should be a same-day replacement that should cost $179.
It just *****, really, because there's so much about Apple that I used to love, and I'm watching it kinda melt away under their success in the mobile market. As a professional user, there's less and less reason to stick with them. Instead of being the best they can be, I feel like they're just trying to be flashier and just a little better than the other mediocre computer companies. Ugh. Anyway, now I'm ranting.

  • Where can I buy a nano sim for the new iPhone 5

    Hi all,
I have just ordered a new iPhone 5 from the apple website and it comes as an unlocked phone. Therefore I need to buy a new 'nano sim' to fit the new phone.
Does anyone know where and how I go about doing this?
I've seen that vodaphone have apparently got 500,000 of these new Nano sims in stock, but are they only for people who have bought the phone through them?
Do you know any other networks or providers that are selling the nano sim, even if you haven't purchased the phone from them?
Any advice or tips would be much appreiciated.
    Many thanks
    Chris

Which is why in the UK it is not really worth purchasing an iPhone directly from Apple - it's a no brainer.  You should always purchase through the phone companies themselves and you'll get a much better deal always.
I have been with 02 on a contract since I had my first iPhone and have always upgraded for less than half the cost of the iPhone directly from Apple.
I really don't understand why someone would want to spend at least £525 to £600 on a phone from Apple when you could get it for less than half the cost with the UK phone companies, unless of course money is no object!
Where do you get your information from?
