Does anyone know where to buy final cut pro 7 and if it is compatible with mountain lion. If I installed mountain lion and used to have snow leaport. I used to have final cut pro 5 and live text...is it anyway I can go back to snowleapard after installed mountain lion so can use final cut pro again? since do not like the new final cut pro x. Many thanks!

According to Apple, Final Cut Pro 7 require 10.5.6 or later so it should be compatible with 10.6, 10.7 0r 10.8.

An Internet search will produce many sources where you may obtain Final Cut Pro 7.

Technically yes, as long as you use the same Apple ID on both machine's to purchase it and to download it. The Mac in the other state will have to meant the system requirements for FCP.

  • Where can I buy Final Cut Studio?

I have been searching everywhere, but I can't find Final Cut Studio with Final Cut 7 in it.  Anyone know where I could buy this?  I would love to buy it from Apple, but I can't find it anywhere.

    Discontinued.
Call the Apple online store. A few months ago they still had a few copies for sale by telephone only.
    Maybe you will get lucky.

  • How can I buy Final Cut Pro 7?

I heard that I can call Apple in order to purchase Final Cut Pro 7.
    Is that true?
All I have to do is call?

You can try, but I believe that ended a while ago, and was only being done while they had existing stock.
    You can always check Amazon.

  • Where can i download final cut pro 7

No matter Where i go all i find is ads for x

I am sure you are right about FCS 3 being a good product. The problem is, that to me at least, it doesn't make a lot of sense learning and using a program that is no longer supported. So when Adobe made an offer that was too good to pass up,  I took advantage of it. I am a long time photoshop user and I like the way all of the suite programs inter act. The other thing that scared me off was Lion. I have been reading about problems with color and motion under Lion. Does it make sense to use a program that will require not doing operating system upgrades? As a retired network professional, I have had my share of problems with legacy programs and operating system upgrades.  But thanks for the info on legally selling FCS. I love my Mac computers and plan to phase out my existing windows computers. If some day there is a new stable pro level final cut I will take a look at it.

  • Why I can't buy Final Cut Pro X ?

    Hi,
I was using the trial version and it expired two days ago.
But when I try to buy the full version, it always shows this message:
An error has occured in App Store. Please try again later. (100)
I don't know why this happens or the meaning of that "100" in the message.
I'm not in USA and maybe my credit card is not accepted in the Apple store.
But it works for buying in my iPhone. How's that?
    Please someone help me.
    Thanks,
    Luigi

    Good news.
I have succeed installed Final Cut X.
Here's what I figured out to solve this problem:
I changed the credit card again to another one from a friend.
The problem was actually with the credit card because the value of Final Cut X is $299.99
The budget limit of my credit card was the issue.
After changing the credit card I went to App store and choose Final Cut.
    It started to download.
But there was some problem to download it too.
It stop downloading after 100Mb or less and an error windows pop up saying an error to download.
So I opened again App Store and did run an upgrade on OSX.
Mountain Lion had to do some upgrade with iTunes and that's what I did.
After that I reinitialized the iMac and then the download was ok.
Everything seems to work good now.
Thank you for comments and help.
Hope someone could use this to solve this problem as well.
    Thanks,
    Luigi

  • I need to buy final cut pro software  and i need it to support arabic writing the problem iam in germany  the  i tune here does not

i need to buy final cut pro software  and i need it to support arabic writing the problem iam in germany  the  i tune here does not give you chance to choose the
    language

If you want the menus and dialogues of the app to be in Arabic, that's not possible, there is no Arabic version of this software.
If you just want to write Arabic language titles, etc., the language of the app is irrelevant, the input of different languages is handled by the OS, and Arabic input is always available.
All Apple software is multilingual, no matter where you buy it. For example, the user interface for Final Cut Pro can be switched among English, Chinese, French, German, and Japanese.

  • I want to buy final cut pro and install on 2 of my macs

I have a airbook (2014) and a macbook pro (2013) I want to buy Final Cut Pro. It might be a stupid question but I am new here, do I need to buy 2 seperate licences ?

If you buy it from the Mac App Store, it will show up in the "Purchases" tab on the Mac App Store. You can download it for free from all of your other Macs by going to the "Purchases" tab on the Mac App Store after you have bought it.
I hope I answered your question.

  • Can I add final cut pro to more than one Mac?

I'm gonna buy final cut pro 5.1 and I wanted to know if I need to buy 2 or can I just get 1 and put it on both my Macs. I also wanted to know if this will work for Shake 4.1, Logic pro 7, Office 2004.
24" IMac 3GB ram 750 GB hard drive   Mac OS X (10.4.7)   13" Macbook (white) 2GB ram 200 GB hard drive

It will work on both simultaneously as long as you take one of the computers off your network while editing. Might be a violation of their licensing agreement though. Not sure about that. I have the same copy of FCP on my desktop and laptop but only use the laptop for remote editing when the desktop is not practical.

  • How to buy Final cut pro?

Hi, I can't seem to buy final cut pro X. When I try, the apple store tells me I need at least 4 GB to download it. Thing is, I have 96 GB available. I don't understand what I am supposed to do. Do you have any advice?

The minimum requirements for FPX can be found here:
    http://www.apple.com/final-cut-pro/specs/
The short of it is - you need to be running osx 10.9, have 4 GB of RAM and have an Open CL video card.
If your system does not meet those minimums, you are wasting your money to purchase the app.

  • If I buy Final Cut Pro X on my Macbook...

If I buy Final Cut Pro X on my Macbook, can I use it on my MacMini or future Macbooks?

Yes, if they meet the system requirements for it. Sign into the Mac App Store with an Apple ID used to buy it and download it from the Purchases tab.

  • Can't Find Final Cut Pro with my admin user!

It was there, but I changed the name from the person I bought the macbook15 from and now all the settings and apps are set default.
Is there a way my main account (set to admin) can find Final Cut Pro (and maybe others) to appear on hard drive without having to use the old name and password?
If I create a new user with the name of the original account is simply says "Username already used". In other words, If I am to use the old username, I have to change my main admin account and go through that all over again.
Admin should mean, total control of the computer...
Also does deleting/changing the original user actually delete programs?? It shouldn't, the hard drive files should be left alone. I can't find Final Cut Pro on the drive at all, it seemed to only appear when I'm using the original user name.
    Thoughts....discussions??
I'm using the latest Macbook Pro 15 and updates.

Firewire port is not required to install Final Cut Pro. Take a look at the Final Cut Studio system requirements and cross-reference it with your system specifications to discover what hardware your computer is lacking.
