Where can I download a new version of Firefox that does NOT automatically install in Croatian language
I'm new to Firefox. I specifically went to an English download page and downloaded the latest Firefox in English. I installed it, and it automatically changed to Croatian, where I live, without any warning.
Then I searched for an option to change it back to English and didn't find it, so I uninstalled it and went back to an older version of Firefox, that I new was in English.
Now, of course, the program is warning me that there is un update, but I'm affraid to install it so that it doesn't automatically change to Croatian again.
You may still have a Croatian language pack installed if you didn't uninstall a previously installed Croatian version and checked the Firefox program folder for remnant leftover files.

If you download the full en-US version and install that version then the language shouldn't change.

Ummm I'm not really sure to be honest here,But let me give you some backround of what happened. Basically my sister took my iPod touch (3rd generation I believe it is) and restored and updated the condition of it and made it up to date. When I tried to plug it in my PowerBook the iTunes thing came up and it said "the iPod cannot be used because it requires iTunes version 10.6.3 or later" and yeah that's all I got for you.

Can I download the stand-alone Flash Player that does not need a browser? I have ver 11.5 r502 that I d/l last year (11 Feb 2013); would like a newer release.
Can't find much about the standalone viewer, except in the Flash Builder docs, which says a .swf can specify to use it. I can't find a download link.

Note that the download is the player, not an installer, so you need to make the .swf file association manually. -
We have been told by our timekeeping system provider that the latest versions of FireFox, Chrome and IE are not compatible with their websites at this time. I was told that it was because of the use of HTML 5 by the more recent versions of these web browsers. I need to download the most recent version of FireFox that does not use HTML 5. Unfortunately, HTML5 is a large specification with a lot of parts that has been implemented in pieces over the course of several years. It would be really helpful if your vendor could indicate what EXACTLY is not compatible and then it could be researched. Otherwise, you'd have to use trial and error. Either way, you would end up with an older browser that isn't safe to run on the internet. It could be time to consider other vendors... -

Firefox stalls for a good 10 to 20 seconds every time it loads a page. I get constant "Not Responding" error messages. This version has nowhere near the speed and responsiveness of previous versions. It is so bad I have had to go back to Internet Explorer.

You can download version 3.5.11 [http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html here]. Apart from 3.6.8, 3.5.11 is the only currently supported version of Firefox. If you don't want to use the former, please use the later for maximum security.
That said, if you're having a problem with 3.6.8, it's possible that you are having a problem with some Firefox add-on that is hindering your Firefox's normal behavior. Have you tried disabling all add-ons (just to check), to see if Firefox goes back to normal?
Whenever you have a problem with Firefox, whatever it is, you should make sure it's not caused by one (or more than one) of your installed add-ons, be it an extension, a theme or a plugin. To do that easily and cleanly, run Firefox in [http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode safe mode] (don't forget to select ''Disable all add-ons'' when you start safe mode). Windows updates this morning gave me a different firefox: the Customize box includes fewer choices. No Text and Icon, which I want. Also, this new version dropped my Autofill.
It wasn't Windows update that caused this, but Firefox automatic updates. It's the new Firefox 29 Australis, their attempt to look more like Chrome. They dramatically changed the UI, removing several features in the process. If the way it looks bothers you as much as it does others you can install Firefox 28 again by going here;

That of course does come with the risk of security exploits they fixed with 29, so beware of that. I also don't know if it will repair your auto fill or anything.
