Where can I get a download file for Adobe Acrobat X Standard?

I need a download file for Adobe Acrobat X Standard. I have an installation CD & serial # that was never activated, but the computer I'm trying to put it on does not have a CD drive. Is there anywhere I can find a download file for this?

As long as it is not a Mac there is a chance the download can be found on the following page:

I say "a chance" because Acrobat Standard tends to be an issue when it comes to download availability ... give it a try.

My PC with Elements 8 crashed.... where can I find a download link for Elements 8?

If you purchased a DVD but are not able to locate the installation media then please see http://prodesigntools.com/direct-download-links-for-lightroom-3-and-photoshop-elements-8.h tml for information on how to download a fresh copy of the install files. Please make sure to follow the Very Important Instructions section as opposed to simply scrolling to the bottom of the page and clicking on the download link.
Once the download is complete please make sure to make a backup copy of the installation files in case you need access to them again in the future.

The Captivate 5.5 page cant be found after Captivate 6 was out.
But Captivate 6 is not on sale here in Singapore yet.
While we have to buy 5.5 and we had already done so, captivate 5.5 is just no longer availabe for download.
Can someone kindly provide a link?

If you downloaded Captivate 5.5 directly from Adobe as a software download, then you should be able to re-download the file from your Adobe store account. If you did not purchase as a software download, then Adobe does not make the download available to you.

You can download the trial from the Adobe site https://www.adobe.com/products/cs6.html and activate it with your serial number.
Alternatively you can download it directly (without any download manager) from http://prodesigntools.com/adobe-cs6-direct-download-links.html - make sure you follow the Very Important Instructions before proceeding to the download.

Actually, you are out of luck if you are looking for Acrobat Standard. I have run into a problem because the link is for Adobe 9.0 Pro and the serial no. for Std. won't work. I asked Adobe customer (chat) service for a downloadable of the Standard and they said they don't have one. Did you get the Std. version as part of the preinstalled software on your computer? If so, it would be on the recovery media of your old laptop but I don't know how you would retrieve it from there. I am in the exact same boat as you are. Let me know if you find out how to get the media for the Standard by responding on this thread. Thanks.

I have same problem as above, managed to get through the jungle of Adobe stuff took me long to find a link to download of Acrobat 9 Pro which I purchased long ago (for another strange reason the re-download link is not available from my order history page in my account). When I click on the Acrobat 9 Pro download link (on the page above) this is what I get:
Access Denied

BTW It is absolutely impossible to get hold of a customer service in Adobe, I recall once chatting with someone asking how to reinstall my product (which I paid money for!) and was told off by a "customer service officer" that I cant reinstall it if I dont "deactivate" on another machine, which crashed long ago and was disposed of, he was very patronising and the whole experience was very unpleasant. This is just to share experience.
