Where can I find the recalibration procedure for the battery in my older Macbook Pro 15"

Would appreciate a link or description of the procedure. Just replaced the battery and after full charge, I removed the power cord and
the battery dropped to 14% after only a couple hours of use of just browsing and email.

Hi there - are you sure they (whoever that is) asked you to keep track of the Tracking number? Do you think they meant the Serial Number?
You can find the serial number of your MBP by clicking on the apple icon at the top of your menu bar, and go to About this Mac, then you can click on more information, which will give you the serial number of your macbook pro.
PS - in terms of safeguards for stolen macs, you might want to do a search on the forum discussion related to this issue (stolen or lost) . . .

I'm trying to get my webcam working on sites other than Skype. I'm chatting overseas with friends on gmail, yahoo etc. It works fine on Skype, but not others. I read somewhere I need to click on the "Gear" icon at the top right of the browser, but I can't find one... I am using Lion OSX...

I don't know what you mean with the "gear" icon in Safari. But why not using iChat? You can use it for Gtalk and do videochats.
A lot of sites using your webcam are using Flash Player. If you right click (or control click) on the Flash content you can access the settings for that chat and give them permission to use your webcam.

If you're getting a "This update requires Mac OS X version 10.7" message, than you have the updater and not the full installer. Go to your Purchases section of the Mac App Store and you should see the full version there. But it may be 10.7.5, though in my system is shows as being from 2011 which would appear to be the original version.
As to Mountain Lion, that's supported only on the Early 2008 Mac Pro or newer.

It looks like Agilent/HP makes the 8990A, but I was not able to find a driver for it that we or Agilent has written for this device.
Since I am not familiar with the 8990A, I cannot recommend which drivers might be similar, but you are pointed in the right direction. Agilent themselves might know more about which models use similar command sets so that you can modify a driver easily.
