If the file was also on a mac, then there was a local copy of the file in ~/Library/Mobile Documents. If you use Time Machine or any other backup program on your computer, then try restoring the file(s). Similarly the same thing would be done on a PC, but I'm not sure where the icloud local copies are kept.

In the help-file in the German PSE8 it was recommended to update thumbnails! Perhaps this is the reason. But how can I be sure?
I have registered online Photoshop Elements 8 and Premiere Elements 8 but I don´t know how to get advice directly from Adobe in Germany or at least in german language. Does someone know where I could get help from an Adobe employee?

Where can I get help completing an application to market on the iBookstore? I am being denied the right to even fill out an application because the tax ID number (which I have verified with the US tax office) is being used by someone else.

Yes, I agree, the tax ID issue needs to be resolved, but the problem is on their side, not mine, and I cannot contact anyone. My question is HOW DO I GET HELP when I can't even get an application to complete? What do I do when I'm told to contact itunes Connect but am denied access? WHO does one contact, HOW? The tax ID is mine. That has been verified by the Feds. There is some snag on THEIR part and I can't get any help. Thank you for your time and effort.

I have recently posted a topic on the forum here but no one was able to resolve my issue. Where can I now find help? The apple website leads me in circles with no real troubleshooting email address to use. Any where I can go?
In case you were wondering this was my original post:
The tracks in some of my albums appear in the wrong order. I have already figured out that within an album in itunes differing album artists for each track mess up the track order for that album. For this reason I have deleted all the "album artist" fields for all tracks on itunes (and my ipod) leaving the field blank. I have left in the "name" "artist" and "album" fields as well as the track numbers.
Depending on what sort of mood my ipod is in it randomly seems to add information back in after x amount of weeks which cause some albums to play in the wrong track order again.
Why is itunes randomely changing the meta information and adding in information ive previously deleted?
Also, why dont the tracks just sort by track number rather than using album artist first. It seems absurd to me itunes would sort tracks this way. Can it be changed so my ipod sorts tracks simply by the track numbers and ignoring the other fields?
Also certain album art gets mixed up or wont appear on my album. I have already solved the problem by wiping all the album art then rechecking the box to show album art but this isnt the first time ive had to do this and I would like to know what is causing the problem.

The iTunes forums are still probably the best place to get the answer to a problem. You should provide the info of the version of iTunes, QT, and System that you are using.
I would suggest that you post in the iTunes Windows and not the iTunes Mac for a start.
I use the 'keep' and 'copy' features. I don't have any problems with sorting. If I do have a jumble then I will select the offending alubum deleting it but KEEP the files the 'add' them back. You can sort by track number if you have that option selected as a column in your iTunes main window.

Where can I get help with partitioning my hard drive? I have a "non-genuine" version of windows that I need to replace but I have not a clue how to go about doing that.

I love my mac, but I unfortunately have to also run windows because of engineering software. I bought windows 7 at my campus computre store and one year later my computer is telling me that my software is "non-genuine." I need to fix this asap, but my computer store refuses to do anything because a year has passed. Microsoft wont help because I have a Mac.
My question is, where can I go to find someone who can help me uninstall the "non-genuine" windows 7 and replace it with a functional one?
Im allowed a free download of windows 7 because I'm still a student, but I have no clue how to go about uninstalling and reinstalling windows.

This kind of question is best asked in the Windows Forums, however I've had some succession with a similar issue myself.
Non-Genuine Windows means that it can't authenticate your copy of Windows.
It's not a problem, all your need is a genuine product key code. Provided you don't have different version of Windows 7 installed to the one you are buying (for example windows 7 Home Premium and Windows 7 business) Then you can use the new key code.
Click on the Start Button and type: CMD (into the 'Search programs and files' field in the Start Menu)
The Start Menu will show 'CMD.exe',
Right-click the CMD.exe file and select Run As Administrator.
In the CMD window, type: slmgr.vbs -ipk <type your product key here>
To activate windows after changing the key, type: slmgr.vbs -ato
It should now accept the new key code and you will need to be connected to the Internet to authenticate.
If by chance the windows 7 types are different (One is Home premium say and the other is Business) then you will need to uninstall that copy of Windows 7 and install the new one. If your using BootCamp then you will need to go into BootCamp under system preferences and remove that copy of Windows (delete it)
Then create a new setup with your new Windows 7 disk.
For me I had the same type of windows, changing the product code worked. Saved me the bother of having to reinstall Windows again and it was all genuine.

I use Microsoft Office for Windows at work, and often go to one of the groups at msnews.microsoft.com to ask questions and get help. I would like to be able to check from home to see if anyone has answered my questions, but I can't figure out how to access this from my Mac. Do I need special software for this? At work I use Outlook Express. What should I use from my Mac?

Many of those groups can also be accessed on the web with any web browser via http://groups.google.com/
There are several NNTP news readers like Newswatcher and MT Newswatcher on http://www.versiontracker.com/ and http://www.macupdate.com/ which tie into that newsgroup protocol if your internet service provider supports it.

In app purchase did not download yet itunes still billed me, where can I get help?

A few days ago I did an in-app purchase. A few days later, itunes billed me for the purchase but the download on my phone never went through. How can I get itunes to credit me for the purchase since when I try to do the inapp purchase again, it said I would have to pay again. Can someone help me with this?

Where can I get help interpreting a crash report?

PPro has been crashing a lot for me the last few days, just at the touch of a new tab in sequence window. HAve tried uninstalling and reinstalling, updating nVidia drivers, and it continues. The crash message is to the effect that "PPro has encountered a serious error and must shut down," whereupon it quits and generates a crash report, which I cannot make heads nor tails of. Would love to solve this suddenly appearing issue ASAP, as, of course, I am in the middle of a large project.
I would attach the crash report (one of them) but don't see how to do that here.
Where to send the crash report for interpretation help? Has anyone else recently been experiencing such crashes?

Some things to do while everything is working
1st, make a full backup of your boot drive... The product I use is at http://www.terabyteunlimited.com/image-for-linux.htm
Image runs off of a bootable CD via Linux (the Zip you download includes a program to make the bootable CD) and it reads EVERYTHING on the drive, even the hidden registration information, so everything is restored when needed... and you may restore the image to a brand new drive in case of a crash, and not have to re-install anything
2nd, a good idea at ANY time is to do a file "save as" to save your project to a new name (once a day is good) so IF your project becomes corrupted, and that corruption extends to your auto-save project files, you can go back a day to your previous project version

It looks like you have an older Elements version where you could see the serial number minus the 4 last digits in the Help screen. The problem is that if you have not saved the full code, or if you have not registered that version on Adobe's site, nobody can help you since the code is specific to your own copy.

Keys provided by school do not work; where can I get help?

Hello, I attend an art college currently that provided students with a copy of photoshop cs6 and a limited amount of creative cloud as long as we attend. However, I'm unable to make the new cs6 work.
Who can I speak to? I dislike forms because I don't want to give out the information about myself publicly that would verify I have access to this stuff... but I don't know how to get to chat or whatever to speak with someone privately. All of the options seem to just recommend the forms.

HELP! I pad plugged in all nite only shows 65% charged and dropping like a stone even though still plugged in. I am in London. Where can I get help?

HELP! I am in London and my iPad is plugged into wall via adapter and cords bought from Verizon who sold me the I pad.

Go to the home screen on the iPad. Double click the home button and where all the app's come up below, hold down on one and then proceed to press on the minus' to delete them from multitasking. Don't worry, your not deleting the actual apps.
That should clear up the 'not charging' business, and the constant dropping. You probably played some big 3D games or watched movies and didn't exit them properly (anything you exit automatically goes into multitasking) thus keeping them open in the background.

Is there a good resource available on the web or am I limited to the info provided in the inadequate help files?????

Yes , the only resource I have found available is the on-line help .
However we have succesfully used the API to both extract info, create new items, do global changes etc which would have taken months with over 1000 forms forming our application.
Some uses we have put it to are:-
1.Extract graphics text from canvases and create display items for these required for a multilingual implemetation.
2.Version stamping as part of our release/distribution procedure inside .fmb by creation of a global which can be displayed by the end user from a button.
3.Creation of support technical documentation from the fmb in xml format for use by our support people in first line fault identification without the need to have the fmb available.

Where can we get help with writing an Applescript

I've sort of figured out how to do a couple of Applescripts that work well and send new messages from one of my icloud IDs or the other with the appropriate signature but now I'm trying to figure out if I reply to a message and want to change my sender ID and signature how to do that. I've sort of figured out a way of just replying to a message but that's not very useful as I can just hit cmd-R. The other though has always required a lot of mousing.
I'm terrible at figuring out Applescript.

It sounds liks you are using the wrong kind of message. Making a new outgoing message will do just that, but if you want to reply to a message you will need to use the reply command and specify the particular message you are replying to. For example, the following will create a reply to the first message in the current selection, then set the sender (the sender needs to be one of your accounts):

You can open the scripting dictionary of any scriptable application to see the classes and commands that it provides, although some (like Mail) are more cryptic than others.
