Where can I get more information about website based apps for the iPhone?

I just forgot and cannot seem to remember what the pages on the web for the iPhone are called. They are interactive and designed for use on the iPhone but are there, called up from the safari browser.
I'm looking for a good interactive chess game site.
TIA,
Ken

  • Where can I get more information on Cryptography Extension ??

    Hi.
    Does anyone know how to set up the Jarsafe product ?
    Another thing is, how to set security for the Cryptography Extension ??
    can anyone tell me where can i get more information on this ??
    Thank you.

    You need to download the JCE 1.2.1 that is available on the http://java.sun.com website. Once you download the software, you need to make the jar files available. It is easiest to place the JCE jar files in the extension mechanism folder since permission has already been granted, by default, to any code in that folder. That folder is JAVA_HOME\lib\ext on Windows. JAVA_HOME is where the Java Runtime Environment is installed.
    When using JarSafe with Java Web Start, make sure that the JCE jar files are placed in the extension mechanism folder of the JRE that Java Web Start is using.

  • Where can i find more information about using or nesting formulas

    where can i find more information about using or nesting formulas

    I am not aware there is a resource specific to nesting functions.  this comes from understanding each function (or at least the description in the function help).
    a great resource is the function reference which you can see by typing the "=" sign in any cell:
    the important thing to note is:
    1) what are the inputs to the function and
    2) what does the function return (the output)
    the if() function (listed above) takes three inputs and returns one output.  These forums are a great resource!

  • How can I get more information about LSU of T1

    Hi,
    I've been working on a project about opensparc t1 for some days. I am now trying to figure out the functions of lsu_dctl, as well as the original thoughts about this block. But, it seems not very clear only by reading t1 codes. Where can I get some more information about lsu_dctl? Can I get some document that explain its functions and the original designing thoughts in detail?

    Hello,
    Thanks for your reply. I've read the L1 Dcache part of the OpenSPARC T1 Microarchitecture Specification, however, I still cannot figure out the meaning and function of some signals. I think I have to read other parts of the OpenSPARC T1 Microarchitecture Specification, in order to know more about the meaning of abbreviations in OpenSPARC codes.
    As for my project, my main aim is to be clear about the OpenSparc L1 Dcache. Since members in our group are all newcomers to OpenSparc, our director hopes that we can get some practical technics by reading OpenSparc codes.
    Thanks,
    Li

  • Where can i find more information about factory sampler instruments? such as what synth was sampled, what chord has been sampled etc.

    im looking for more information about what chords have been sampled for use in the exs24 "chords" sampler instruments and more specifically wether they're major/minor and with 7ths,9ths,11ths etc.  i know this could be worked out with someone with the skill to do it but unforunately that's not me. It'd be convienient if information like this was included somewhere in the documentation like it is with most other commercial sample packs.

    Don't post order information or other personal information here. We're all just fellow users here - you are not communicating with Apple when you post here - and so posting such information just risks your privacy. I've asked the Hosts to remove all the private information from your post.
    The serial number was included in the box ARD came in; the Apple Store will not have a record of it. If you've lost the serial number, you'll need to purchase a new copy of ARD, probably a good idea anyway since 2.2 won't run on any version of Mac OS X since, if memory serves, 10.4. It's a lot cheaper through the Mac App Store than it was back when you first purchased.

  • Oracle Backup and Recovery 101: where can I get more information?

    Hey everyone. I'm a pretty new Oracle DBA and backup and recovery is something I want to learn as much about as I can.
    I read a blog about "how to be a good DBA" and it really drove home the importance of backups. I know how important they are, I just want to learn more.
    What I mean is, I understand a lot of the high level concepts. It is pretty much straight forward. What I am looking for is something that really goes down in the internals of what is going on behind the scenes so I know what is going on.
    I thought it would be extremely beneficial for me to learn about user backups. Granted, RMAN is the direction my company is heading to, but right now, we are doing user made backups. My thinking is that if I can get a solid grip and understanding of backup and recovery, user made backups, it will make the transition to RMAN much easier. That way, when I am working in RMAN, issue a command to do backup, I know the equivalent of a user backup and what is going on.
    I hope that makes sense.
    Is there a recommended book that goes over backup and recovery in depth?
    I'd like to learn about all the user-made backup commands that can be executed at the command line (example, putting a tablespace in backup).
    Since backups are essential to the life of a DBA, I thought the more I know, the better off I would be.

    You can always find good information from Oracle document site,
    Oracle® Database Backup and Recovery Basics
    http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B19306_01/backup.102/b14192/toc.htm
    Oracle® Database Backup and Recovery Advanced User's Guide
    http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B19306_01/backup.102/b14191/toc.htm
    User managed backup is quite different from RMAN backup. For RMAN backup you need to get familiar with the RMAN command syntax and configure.

  • Where can I get more info about Director and Projectors?

    I would like to learn how to create interactivity within my animations-like menus and such.
    a)where can I buy Director
    b)where can I re-learn it after 10 years?
    Thanks

    you can buy new online in the Adobe store or try to find a usefull version like MX2004 or 11.5 on ebay or similar recources.
    if you can get an upgradeable version at a cheap recource it will be better to upgrade to 11.5 as to buy  the full version 11.5.
    See eligeble versions in the Adobe online store.
    best

  • Where can I find more information about the jpeg files in pages templates?

    I'm using a pages template (the menu in the 08 version). I like the three graphic images that are on the menu, how can I find out more info about them and their source?
    I can find the file extension in the inspector, but even when I google that title I come up with nothing.
    Any suggestions?

    The images are buried deep in the apps packages.

  • What is Oracle Web Services Manager  and where can i get more information ?

    Hi,
    Can any one point me to some useful links to know abt
    Oracle Web Services Manager and some example to play with it.
    Appreciate your help !!
    Regards,
    Vijay.B

    Vijay,
    You can install Oracle Web Services Manager (OWSM) as a stand alone product, but the easiest way would be to use the OracleAS SOA Suite Developer Preview, that contains all the SOA components (OWSM, J2EE, BPEL, ESB, ...)
    Oracle Application Server 10g Release 3 (10.1.3.1.0) Developer Preview for the Oracle SOA Suite

  • Where could I get more information about SetDialogGroupInfo?

    Hi,
    I'm trying to implement tabbed dialog on Windows by utilizing ADM suites. But I have no idea how to deal with
    sADMDialogGroup->SetDialogGroupInfo or sADMDialogGroup->SetTabGroup methods. ADM Reference Guide is not clear enough for me on how to achieve that. What should be exact sequence of calls?
    Initially I thought that I need:
    1. sADMDialog->Create
    2. sADMDialog->CreateGroupInDialog
    3. sADMDialogGroup->SetDialogGroupInfo
    4. sADMDialogGroup->SetTabGroup
    But that doesn't work for me.
    Any help would be appreciated!

    If needed - I'll start from scratch only UI part, not business logic of my plugin. And that is not big deal for me really. UI is only about 5 percents of whole functionality. But right now I'd like to complete it with already present ADM code.
    OK, now about my situation.
    I'd like to create multitabbed dialog with 2 tabs. From ADM documentation I assume that for that purpose I need to have 2 dialog boxes created and then somehow inserted into main tab folder (or I don't know how to call that UI item). So, this is part of my code inside plugin dialog initialization function:
    ADMUtils::InitializeADM();
    ADMDialogRef dialog = sADMDialog->Create(sADMPluginRef, "MyCompany:MyPlugin",
    IDD_DIALOG1, kADMTabbedFloatingDialogStyle, (ADMDialogInitProc)DialogOnInit, NULL, NULL);
    err = sADMDialogGroup->SetDialogGroupInfo(dialog, "Group1", 1 & kADM_DPTabMask);
    ADMDialogRef dialog2 = sADMDialog->Create(sADMPluginRef, "MyCompany:MyPlugin",
    IDD_DIALOG2, kADMTabbedFloatingDialogStyle, (ADMDialogInitProc)DialogFiles, NULL, NULL);
    err = sADMDialogGroup->SetDialogGroupInfo(dialog, "Group1", 2 & kADM_DPTabMask);
    After that nothing is diplayed at all. If I drop those SetDialogGroupInfo calls, then I have both dialogs visible and dragging second one I could make it as a tab near first one.
    Do I correctly use kADM_DPTabMask here?

  • Where can i get more documentation about JDOSQL

    Hi Manuel,
    Take a look at http://www.solarmetric.com/News_and_Events/JDO_in_the_News/.
    One of the first articles is a JDOQL article.
    I think the final spec also has a few examples of JDOQL.
    Is there something specific about JDOQL that you are looking for?
    Thanks, Neelan

  • I am planning to buy iphone 5 but confused on its mail management. Where can i get more information on it? I am currently a blackberry user.

    I am not sure how iphone would handle the mail traffic. I understand that once you open the outlook, all mails goes out of your hand phone. My worry is then how to refer the past mails while not in front of the machine and outlook? I am currently using Blackberry which is excellent on mail management and hence this worry before I make a switch.

    Read the User's Guide.
    If you actually set up the email account instead of simply syncing via Outlook on the computer then your concerns listed above are irrelevant.
