Also,it would be best if the place was online, because live in a small town with virtually no places to get this done. If you could help that would be sooo amazing! Thank you!

hi, when I go to connect my ipod touch 4th generation to the computer an error sign come up which says either "this device is not recognised " or " there has been an error that has occured therefore ipod can not connect" this is problem 1.
problem 2. is that when my ipod does connect, if I bump the chord it logs out straight away and not knowing what is happening I have tried everything like blowing in the connection turning my ipod on and off and even restoring my ipod to its original settings.
Once I restored it a sign in itunes said that it has found an ipod in recovery and to be able to use the ipod with itunes I had to restore and update which I have done many times but nothing is working PLEASE HELP!!!

Venom, I use a Griffin Survivor it's a full case, Note; it is waterproof not watertight-- drop it in the pond and your iPod will get wet. Overall works very well, have knocked the "stuffing" out of it, so far it has protected my iPod 5 from falls, drops (that should have broken the screen more than one time), a 6 year old, rain and snow. Also does a great job of keeping dust, dirt, sweat off the iPod. The belt clip locks shut, or can be opened to clip onto waist band or pocket opening. Fairly heavy spring keeps it in place. An added function the clip can be locked full open and it acts as a stand like a picture frame or you can remove it altogether. If you do decide to get one, get disposable screen protectors, cut then to fit the window of the survivor. the window is plastic and scratches easy. The protector does not interfere with function, when it gets scratched up peel it off and replace with a fresh one. They come in many colors, mine is black and day glow yellow, makes it easy to find! You can shop around on places like eBay for a used unit, but that or purchasing a refurbished unit from Apple, when they have them available, will be the only way you're going to get one for less than the normal price of a new unit. No iPod touch that is in working order is going to be "cheap", though.

I literally just got off the phone with my local Best Buy and according to them Apple is hording the Ipod Touches to themselves and only selling them at their stores and on their online store until the end of the month. But I don't know if this is true because I'm pretty sure I have read posts by ppl who claim they got their touches at a store other than the apple store. so if you got your touch somewhere else other than at the online apple store or at your Apple store then please let us know.
