I posted a message yesterday, "Security Hole vs Configuration Issue??" and I no longer see it. The FAQ section says:

Two things could have happened. The message was either moved to another forum because it was off topic, or deleted because it was
inappropriate/contravened house rules - by a moderator. Reports of spam users or posts are also usually deleted once the offending posts or users have been dealt with.
Can a moderator or someone get back to me why it has been moved/removed?

Welcome to the forums.
There is, of course, a third possibility.
The software running this forum occasionally gives evidence of having a bug or two ... my recommendation is that if you think this is the appropriate forum you repost your inquiry then go back 10 minutes later and verify it is still there.
Feel free to also send the inquiry directly to me (after removing spaces) at damorgan12c @ gmail.com and I will take a look at it.

Help! Where did my post go?

I posted a question here about Mackeeper malware problem and it seems to be gone! I wanted to add another comment and my access was denied. I then tried to edit my post and again got a access denied message. This was my first post so maybe that has something to do with this, but I'm also concerned that it has to do with this malware, because I now have ads splashed all over every page I visit masquerading as a link.
In case my original post is really gone I still have the problem of MacKeeper popping up everywhere! I tried the fix from Linc Davis from 11/14/14, but that didn't help. Unfortunately I didn't save my post anywhere so if I need to post the question I'll have to recreate it.

PS Actually I posted the original problem to the Yosemite forum under " Mac OS & System Software" because that's where I found the original answer but I'm not able to post there now. Are there Community posting rules I need to read? Is there a more appropriate place to post questions about Malware problems. I'm using Yosemite 10.10.1 on a Macbook pro 2011

HP LaserJet Enterprise 500 551dn - where did the drivers go?

I go to the download page to download the drivers for this 551dn. I download all windows 7, 8, 8.1, 2008, 2012, so that i can put them on my print server. I downloaded them from here..

when i get the file, lets say for windows 7/64bit, i choose...

I get the file downloaded (LJEnt-color-M551-Drv-no-installer_12297.exe), i run it, get the security warning and Run. the file extracts - then POOF, the installer is gone.
where did the files go? They aren't on the root of the C: drive, a folder/files were not created on my desktop, no files or folder created in my downloads folder.
I was never asked for a file save location.... ??? really? is this this basic stuff?
Where are the files? this $$$ printer is a brick until i get drivers!

UPDATE- I FOUND THE FILES!!
First of all, HP... i'm not impressed.
All the files for all the drivers are in a series of temp folders...
C:\Users\-myusername-\AppData\Local\Temp\3\7zS4A73

There is no change to this problem after 6 months since the last post. Put simply, and as stated in the previous posts, there is no way to scan a document and receive the image on your PC. If you are working with graphics for any length of time or want to create an image for inclusion as an image in a document or web page using this piece of equipment will not allow you to do so.
Great shame as every other function works well - it cannot be beyond the wit of HP to include a Windows application that enables you to scan an image, receive it in the software you are using at the time (e.g. Outlook, Word, Photoshop...) and use it in your work.
HP Printers several years older than this £1000+ Enterprise printer were able to do this simple job and have done so for a great many years. Just being able to use Microsoft's Fax and Scan would be start.

Where did the Stream 7 drivers go?

The support page for downloading drivers for the HP Stream 7 tablet (any model) has disappeared from the HP website.
Navigating to the HP Stream 7 support page, Selecting "Software and Drivers", then "Go directly to software and drivers page", Operating System "Windows", then Version "Windows 8.1" (the only choices), then clicking the Update button, gives a message "No software or drivers are available for this product with the selected operating system. Please make a different selection, or visit the product homepage. " This happens using Firefox, IE 11, or Chrome.
These drivers have been missing for at least a few weeks, and multiple forum users have also had no luck finding them. Before that time the drivers seemed to come and go randomly, but they've stayed missing now for weeks. One dorum user has posted direct FTP links to the drivers, and they might be the latest version, but not really sure.
Where did the drivers go, HP?

MSI Big Bang Xpower II did not post - Debug LED Code #67

I need HELP...!
I have a problem my board did not post , did not start and i have the DEBUG LED CODE # 67 displayed.
There is my build

When I put the power on, the power supply activated fans and drives spin, all the LEDs on the motherboard light up but nothing appears on the screen.
No video signal at all and the computer stop and restrart every 15 seconds. When these reset occurs there is no beep on the speaker , nothing at all, no flashing screen either, nothing.
The DEBUG LED display a sequence of flashing numbers 19 - 60 - 19- 60 - 67 and stop showing still the number # 67 for about ten seconds and then he reset again.
I carefully followed the instruction manual for the installation, I installed the memory modules in slots 1 3 5 7, i put my video card in slot PCI-E2. all the power wire are connected correctly 1 x 24 pins ATX, 2 x 8 pins ATX, 1 X 6 pins , all the wire from the front panel are correctly connected to the m-connector in JFP1 & 2.
Did i forget something, I don’t know what the debug led code # 67 exactly mean and what i have to do to fix-it
Someone has an idea what is wrong or have any suggestion to solve this issue.

I followed some advice to remove the memory modules and this is actually caused by the use of memory but you will see I still have a curious bug.
I referred to the instructions manual to the letter for the choice of DIMM SLOT to put the memory module in single, double, triple and quad channels.
If I install 1 memory module in the DIMM SLOT 1 to operate in single channel, everything is normal and the motherboard POST normally and show the SETUP SCREEN.
If I install 2 memory modules in DIMM SLOT 1 & 3 to run in dual channel, everything is normal and the motherboard POST normally and show the SETUP SCREEN.
If I install three memory modules in DIMM SLOT 1 - 3 - 5 to run in triple channel, everything is normal and the motherboard POST normally and show the SETUP SCREEN.
As soon as I install four DIMMs modules mémoiredans SLOT 1 - 3 - 5 - 7 to run in quad channel, the motherboard freezes and does NOT POST and show code 67 on the debug led and has reset itself every 20 seconds.
I tried all my RAM modules alternately in both single channel and everything works normally.
I did the same thing in rotation for both dual and triple channel and everything is still normal with all fourth memory modules individually.
As soon as I put a fourth memory module it freezes and displays the code 67 or L9 dependent side as you look.
So my bug is my motherboard MSI Big Bang Xpower II do not want to work in quad channel.
Do you have any idea where I should look for, is a setting in the BIOS , I have flashed the bios to the latest version V1.5
I included the screenshot of the BIOS to see if you can notice something wrong.

Where did my ringtones go after iOS 6 update

After updating to iOS 6 my ringtones are gone on my iPhone 4? Anyone else have this issue? I can honestly say that I regret upgrading to iOS 6. First my music wasn't synching and I had to manually fix that myself, thanks to a post I found on here and now my ringtones are gone. The iOS 5 update was a pain in the rear, but this one is really making me consider a change.
When I connect my phone to my MAC and click on the phone in iTunes and then click on Tones only one of my ringtones show up. I had 5 or 6. When I go into my iPhone settings for sounds/ringtones the only tones that show up are the default crappy iPhone tones. Very frustrating that everytime I do an update I have to manually go in a fix some screw up. Steve Jobs passing will be the end of Apple.

The email icon on my BB Torch 9800 just disappeared. If I type email in the search button it shows me the greyed out email icon but I can't get the icon back on to my homescreen. How do I get my email icon back? And Unhide All is not an option so icant find it.
Please consider the above on urgent basis as I can't see my work mails.

I redeemed a gift card in the store. I clicked buy and I was told the item was purchased. I also checked and the card was redeemed. However, I can't find the music. Where did it go?

On the left hand side panel of itunes there should be a section called "purchased". It should be about in the middle of the pannel. Click on it and your item should be in there. Or you could check the music section of the pannel, and scroll through the list, if you see a song with a check mark next to it it might be the song you just purchased.
If you were refering to where did your music section in the left hand side pannel go, click on (top of screen) edit>preferences> and you should see a couple list like music,apps, movies etc. each with a check box next to them, click on music if it doesnt have a check mark on it, and the music section shuld pop up.
I couldnt tell which one it was, but i hope i helped, if i did not, could you take a screenshot and post it, if you do not mind? It would be easier for me to help you out if i did not do so already.

When I deleted and then recreated the same account all the emails are now gone. Where did they go?

I was having problems with getting mail from my verizon email account. Suddenly stopped working when checking mail. Sending was fine. No server settings were changed. So as a last try before the nightmare of finally giving up on them I deleted the account and then set it up again. I now get the emails but all the old ones are gone. Where did they go?
I've read all the posts about the verizon smtp ssl issues but this (the missing emails that were alreadiny in thunderbird) seems to be a TB question.
Any help would be very much appreciated.

i set up icloud last night between my mac, ipad and iphone. All notes i had on my ipad and my iphone since 2/23/12 are missing? I've looked in entourage, gmail, icloud--where did they go?

I was browsing and I saw your post. The way I got my contacts and addresses back was by going to SETTINGS on my iPhone, then to mail, then to my email account and truned all of the settings to ON. I then went to iCloud on my computer, signed in and turned all of the setting to ON. Next, I went to iCloud on my iPhone and turned all of those settings ON. My contacts and addresses reappeared. I had to experiment to get to this solution. The Apple instructions did not explain enough for me to conf
This worked for me, but then again, I tried so many different things, that I may have left something out on how I got iCloud reconfigured to work properly. Good Luck.

If it's a rental, it might have expired and disappeared. I believe that would happen 30 days after you rented it.

What is the error message you get? If it's telling you to upgrade Numbers but you already have updated, then that means you probably are trying to open the document with the old version, which is still on your Mac, in a sub folder within Applications named iWork '09. Open the document with the Numbers that is in your Applications folder (not the one in a subfolder). It's easy to confuse the two, because the icons are similar.
If you're getting some other error message, could you post specifics?
