Where is bi_checkconfig.zip downloaded from?

I think I may have a configuration issue - a variety of exceptions are raised by the BI Beans. It seams that bi_checkconfig could shed some light but I can't find it anywhere.
Following the documentation link I found this page http://otn.oracle.com/products/bib/htdocs/tech_notes/bi_checkconfig_tn.html, which links back to the main BI page.

Where is 'goop.zip' download for LabVIEW 7?

I'm looking for the LabVIEW GOOP Wizard for LabVIEW 7.0.
The link on the NI page for Graphical OO Programming in LabVIEW is
broken. The link points to a downloads directory for LabVIEW 6.1.
But the latest version of LabVIEW is 7.0 Express, and there is no link
to a version '7.0' directory. Someone already posted in the
"Comments" section on that page, asking about the broken link.
Has 'goop.zip' simply been included in LabVIEW 7.0? It was free for
LabVIEW 6.1, so that would stand to reason. I have been searching for
the LabVIEW GOOP Wizard on LabVIEW itself, but haven't found it. Any
ideas?

Jar files downloaded from SkyDrive are being renamed to jar.zip files

I have cut and pasted the following series of exchanges from when I posted the problem onto SkyDrive's support forum. I hope that someone might be able to propose a better solution to the problem that I have. Thanks for your help.

I have uploaded an executable jar file to SkyDrive. (I will call this FILE.jar). The file is intact and indicates that it is a jar file type when the file is viewed by Properties within Skydrive. However, when I download (or others download through a share link) the file, it is being saved onto the local computer's download file with .zip appended to the file name (FILE.jar.zip). The downloaded file can be renamed to remove the .zip appendage and subsequently run successfully. However the folder options for the folder where the downloaded file resides must be changed for disable "Hide known file extensions" prior to being able to remove the .zip appendage. While I have figured out the workaround for this problem, this manual renaming procedure is entirely too cumbersome as a solution for sharing this file with others. How can I prevent or disable the FILE.jar file from being renamed to FILE.jar.zip when it is downloaded from SkyDrive?

The file was uploaded by first logging onto my SkyDrive account using Windows 7 Pro and Firefox browser, then a new folder in my account was created without sharing privileges, then the folder was opened and the FILE.jar was uploaded into the folder using the "Upload" option on skydrive account menu. Sharing privileges for FILE.jar were then created (view only), and the shortened url link was sent to the individuals that I was trying to share the file with. was then turned on. When these people use the link to download the file, it is being saved as FILE.jar.zip.
When I try to download the file through the skydrive account download option, it is being saved onto my computer as FILE.jar.zip and this occurs when I try to download the file while signed into my skydrive account as well as when I am not signed into my skydrive account (using the shared file link).
This PNG shows the information provided by clicking on the download icon (down arrow) within the Firefox browser; note that the file was downloaded as FILE.jar.zip and that the source was live.com. When I use Windows Explorer to look at the same file within the Download folder itself, examining the file's properties details also shows that it is being saved as FILE.jar.zip and is of the file type compressed zip folder.
This PNG shows the information displayed to me from my skydrive account when I view the originally uploaded file's properties; note that the information shows that the file is a jar file type.
When I utilize Internet Explorer 9 to access the file, FILE.jar is being downloaded onto my computer as a jar file type. This PNG shows the information provided by Tools/View Downloads within the IE9 browser. Note that in this instance, the information indicates that the file is being downloaded from yzudea.blu.livefilestore.com.
It appears to me that the problem (the FILE.jar file being renamed to FILE.jar.zip) arises from the fact that a jar file downloaded from skydrive using firefox, is being sent from live.com whereas a jar file downloaded from skydrive using IE9 is being sent from yzudea.blu.livefilestore.com.
I want to make sure that a person receiving a share link from me for FILE.jar is able to download it without modification to the file name regardless of which browser is being using to access the link. How can I make sure that this occurs?

I appreciate you for providing as much information as you can about the issue, as well as for uploading screenshots on what you see from the downloaded file. About your initial concern wherein the file gets renamed with .zip after the original file extension, this is solely dependent on the browser that you are using since they have a different safety/security measure that needs to be implemented.
Moreover, you may see the file servers live.com and yzudea.blu.livefilestore.com to be different with one another, but they actually are sent from the same SkyDrive server. This in turn, depends on the web browser where the file is being downloaded as well. The live.com file where it was downloaded from Firefox simply masks its original server yzudea.blu.livefilestore.com.
As for your last query about your recipients downloading the file without the hassle of renaming it from a .zip file, you can simply tell them to download it through Internet Explorer.

Thanks for your reply. Yes, I could simply tell them to download the file through Internet Explorer, but is there another solution or workaround to the problem I have described here? Am I being punished with the curse of this problem simply because I (or the individuals with which I wish to share FILE.jar with) choose to use Firefox instead of IE? Will the use of any other browser instead of IE (Chrome, Safari, etc., etc.) still result in the same problem?
You stated that it is "solely dependent on the browser that you are using since they have a different safety/security measure that needs to be implemented"........could the problem be overcome by designating one or both of the file server addresses as Trusted Sites within the browser options setting?

Problem in Font when file is downloaded from query output

We are facing a problem as we are not able to simulate a scenario at our end where a file is downloaded from a query. The snapshot of the file which is downloaded in excel is shown below. The name displayed below has special characters in it. The actual value for the name is VÁRADI GÁBORNÉ, but when the file is downloaded into excel, the special characters get converted to some different characters and the last character ie É gets converted to ? and the values for the next column get concatenated to the Name 1 column and all the values move one column left.

The procedure used by the user to download the file from the query is as follows:
1.     The query is executed in background with file name entered in Save with ID option
2.     After the job is complete, the file is displayed from the saved list of that query.
3.     This saved list is then downloaded as .DAT file and then opened with excel.
Any pointers to solve the problem will be highly appreciated.

Hi,
There is no problem of device type as when we are testing the query with the same inputs (same variant, same printer), the output to the excel comes correctly. But at the user end, the output does not come out properly. Infact the saved list displayed for that query shows the output to be correct, but when that list is exported to excel, the output gets distorted for the user (not for us).

Where is OCA605290.zip in 8iLite download

I downloaded & installed 8iLite & Forms6i in WIN95. 8i release notes said to "copy OCA605290.zip file from the \WIN32 folder of the Oracle8i Lite CD-ROM" but I can't find it in the un-zipped folder. I found a similar file in Forms6i folder and it worked for connecting via SQL*Plus but when I tried to connect via Form Builder, it broke the whole system. Anyone know where I can find the correct file? Do I need to use a different home for forms as mentioned for other 8i editions? There's only one computer involved, no network, no internet, Palms, etc. involved.

Look to see where they are stored in iTunes. Most are downloaded and stored in iTunes U under library. Those should be shown in iTunes U which is a part of the iPod app on the iPad. I have had a couple that had bad data in the metadata and were classified as Movies and placed in Movies. I selected those and right clicked (control click if no mouse with right click) on those, selected Get Info, selected Options, and changed Media Kind to itunes U. iWork (no 's') for iOS & iWork for Mac have not gone away.
iWork.com (beta) (also no 's') is going away the end of July. iWork.com (beta) is/was an online method of sharing iWork files with other users & never moved out of beta in 3+ years. It is a completely different entity than the iWork apps & is not & never has been necessary for the iWork apps to function.
A Numbers document, as well as Pages or Keynote documents, cannot be opened on a PC. You must first export them to a file that a PC can use. For Numbers that is generally Excel. In Numbers on your iPad tap the wrench & then tap Share & Print & choose Excel as the file type.
As for transfering a file from a PC to an iPad, I'm not sure as I don't use a PC.

If a server supports resuming downloads then the download should continue where it left off.<br />
You can test that by simple starting a large download and wait a minute or so before pausing it.<br />
Then you can close and restart Firefox and see if resuming works.
You can set the pref browser.download.manager.quitBehavior to 2 on the about:config page.<br />
That will make Firefox ask for confirmation if you want to cancel the download if you close Firefox.

In order to open ZIP files, you have to download an app to enable the opening of the ZIP. Here's one you can use: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.winzip.android
Next, when you install that, open it and go to your Download directory. It should either be in sdcard0, sdcard, or sdcard1, then go to Download.
Once you find it, touch and hold the file, then click '''Unzip here''' and it will extract the files in the ZIP folder.

It should have downloaded into the Music app - when you have audiobooks on an iPad you will get an Audiobooks option under the More button at the bottom of the Music app.
Note that audiobooks are currently a one-time only download from the store (so they won't appear in the Purchased tab for re-downloading), so you may want to copy it to your computer's iTunes via File > Devices > Transfer Purchases so that you can take a backup copy of it - it should copy over to the Books part of your iTunes library.
