Where is Pages on my MacPro? Only see it for $19.99 to purchase.

I see that Pages is listed as one the apps that one gets when they purchase a Mac Pro, but I cannot for the life of me find it on my computer. I went to the App Store and see that it can be downloaded for $19.99. Am I missing something here? What happened that I did not receive it on my computer? I called the local Apple people at the Apple store, and they said it needed to be downloaded. Downloaded for a price? This does not make sense.

The iWork suite is not installed. On the webpage for Apple, they advertise that they are loaded in the computer. It says that is $19.99 to download for the Pages on the site. I do not have Numbers either. I have certain apps already loaded, but these are not. GarageBand, iMovie, FaceTime, iPhoto, iBook are all part of the apps I received. Maps, Messages, Notes, iTunes. No iWork stuff however. So, if I am to download them, how am I supposed to not have to pay $19.99? I purchased mu computer from BestBuy and am going to the store tomorrow to have them look at it to see where are the apps. This is not Best Buy's fault, I think it has more to do with Apple.

Si vous avez utilisé la commande Save As Template depuis Pages, il y a forcément un dossier
iWork > Pages
contenant Templates > My Templates
comme il y a un dossier
iWork > Numbers
contenant Templates > My Templates
Depuis le Finder, tapez cmd + f
puis configurez la recherche comme sur cette recopie d'écran.
puis lancez la recherche.
Ainsi, vous allez trouver vos modèles personnalisés dans leur dossier.
Chez moi, il y en a une kyrielle en dehors des dossiers standards parce que je renomme wxcvb.template quasiment tous mes documents Pages et wxcvb.nmbtemplate à peu près tous mes documents Numbers.
Ainsi, quand je travaille sur un document, je ne suis pas ralenti par Autosave.

HT1551 Apple TV - can only see Computers and Settings options (no internet)

sine the apple2 tv software was updated last week I can only see options for computers and settings
whilst my internet connection is clearly working, I cannot access youtube or internet radio as there is no internet option
any ideas how to fix this pls?

My ATV3 has worked beautifully for the last week. We woke up this morning to find this problem. Nothing weird happened over night - my entire network has been up all night with no resets or anything strange.
The ATV3 accessing all of my Home Sharing content, so I know the network is fine (wired). Tried resetting and cycling power. Tried changing locations/setting language. Nothing. I even tried resetting my DSL Router, but to no avail.
I've got nothing fancy going on with my location, short of being in Canada.
Update: Oh, and I have a 2nd ATV3 downstairs, also on a wired connection. Just found out that it, too, is exhibiting the same error. Although, I'd left it in 'iTunes Match' last night and the first thing I saw when I started it up was "Error: iTunes is Unavailable. Please try again later". Plugged my old Popcorn Hour in and it, at least, is working fine.

I can't find the Mac section in the iTunes store anymore, I only see iPhone or iPad sections. Why is this?

I recently got a macbook pro. I used to be able to go into the itunes store and look at apps for the computer. Now I am only seeing sections for the iphone and ipad. even if I serch mac apps nothing comes up for the computer. Does anyone know why that might be? i am aware that they can see who the texts were to, the time/date that they were sent, and the type of text message that it was. Can they only see that for the texts I sent that count for this billing cycle, or can they always see that no matter what billing cycle I was in when I sent them?

They can see current billing cycle and past billing cycles going back 12+ months (14 I think)

Web pages with Tiff with more than one page! Can only see first page!

Please help me out. This is kind of a big issue for me.
For work I need to visit regularly a webpage which contains a number of official documents that have been saved on the webpage as Tiff files with multiple pages.
I can only view the first page on the ipad!
I think this is a problem linked to quicktime, as I also have it on my pc I open the documents with quicktime whereas on with Windows Life photo Gallery, I see all the pages...

I don't believe there is a single app that can view any but the first page of a multi-page tiff currently available for the iPhone or iPad, though a few paid iPhone "doc-viewer" apps' descriptions would seem to imply that they could.
However, if you are able to upload these files to google docs, then use the **desktop** version of google docs via Safari (there's a small link to this at the bottom of the page on the default mobile version), it will correctly display and navigate to each page of your multi-page tiffs. This is completely free, and you could probably stream-line the process to your needs, but it does seem like a lot to go through for such a simple feature. It's possible that this would work with equivalents to google docs as well.
You're right that you're not alone in needing this feature. It seems like it should be quite easy to implement, but no app appears to have done it. Maybe requests to the writers of several doc-viewing apps would do the trick, especially given the importance to enterprise.

Where is "Structure" under Insert in Dreamweaver, I can only see "Layout"?

Can anyone tell me why I cannot see the menu with Structure under Insert in Dreamweaver, and can only see one with Layout? Any help appreciated on this. I am trying to follow the Dreamweaver tutorial "Make your first website", and am stuck on "Create the page structure" (Part 2)- as the drop down menus in the online tutorial are different to those on the Dreamweaver site that I can see on my Mac OS X 10.6.8
The tutorial instructs to find Structure in Insert but I can only see a function labelled Layout.
I managed to find a way of locating 'div' but there is not a Header in the drop down menu in Insert.
There is a list of Spry options but these are quite different to the list given in the tutorial.
Please can anyone help with pointing to where I can find the function to make a Header (as it is called in the tutorial).

Layout and Structure are the same tab (Category). Layout was renamed to Structure after CS6 if I'm not mistaken. See below:

Numbers doesn't have pages. It has a canvas that holds objects such as tables and charts.
Drag the objects from the bottom of the canvas onto the white space above. That will reduce the number of "pages" (sheets of paper) that will print.

Having issues with docx files that contain images. I can only see the first page of a multipage docx (the docx only contain images)

I'm trying to open a file for school on my ipad. The file is a 14 page document that is text in the form of an image (i.e. someone scanned the document and pasted into micrsoft word). When I open the file (docx format) in safari I only see one page. If I save the file on my computer as a .doc I have the same problem. If I save it as a pdf, I have no problem viewing it. I was wondering if anyone else is having the same issue and if so, what they've done to solve it. I use my ipad heavily for school, and do not always have access to a computer, so a solution that stays within the ipad would be best, although at this point i think my best option is to save it as a pdf on a computer to view on my ipad.

I solved this problem. It was not a code-problem but a printer problem. This code do not work on a BrotherHL1660e-printer. On all other printer I tried it works fine.

If anyone is reading this still looking for what caused the issue and how to fix it here is what I discovered.
The antivirus program our company uses, Bitdefender Antivirus Plus, was causing some of the PDF files not to open. After troubleshooting the different modules and settings the culprit was..
Scan SSL in Privacy Control Settings. Turning it OFF solved the problem and all the PDF files that previously would not open now open just fine. This issue has been sent to Bitdefender for them to review. If you use a different antivirus program and are having this issue try locating the Scan SSL setting and see if turning it off solves the problem.
