Where is the account balance window located?

I recently upgraded to iTunes 8.1, and when I access the iTunes store, I can no longer locate the little window that displays the remaining gift card balance.
I've tried to figure it out via the "Help" pull-down menu and have searched the discussions forums to no avail.
Is it possible to manually find the remaining balance, or could someone tell me how to otherwise access this info?

That's not where you see a remaining balance. You'll see it in iTunes next to your account ID when you're logged into your iTunes Store account and are viewing the iTunes Store. On an iOS device you'll see the balance at the very bottom of the window in the iTunes Store or App Store apps, e.g.
Not all of the tabs in those apps show the balance. If you don't see a balance, then the iTunes Store doesn't think you have one for that account.

I know what you mean, though. About a month ago, I could have sworn I had a balance left in my iTunes account. But - nothing there. I purchased another gift card for myself just to make sure the amount was showing - it did.
Then I went to my Purchase History and my emails, and discovered that I actually had depleted the previous amount.....kind of makes you crazy, though!

Displaying Remarks field to GL Account Balance window

Is it possible to add an additional column to the Account Balance window to display the Remarks field from the origin document, ie, ODLN,Comments or OVPM, Comments. The Journal Remarks already are displayed but is limited to 50 characters.

Yes u can add a udf to the Accounts balance window while creating udf give the character length to 100 so that u can have 100 characters to enter and u shuld enter the remarks of odln /ovpm remaks manully in this udfautomatically it will not populate .
i think this will solve ur prob

Thank you responding. (you're the only response I received). I did, and was doing, as you suggested. Before the latest iTunes update, I was able to see my account balance (a whopping $9.98), but can no longer see the amount. I've tried logging out and back into iTunes to no avail. Same goes on my iPhone and iPod, and iPad. The system keeps asking for credit card info, but I'm hesitant to do that. (That's why we purchase iTunes gift cards, isn't it ?) !
Anyway, Thank you for your assistance. Next stop is the local Apple Store and see what the Genus bar can do. !!

Hi,
you can use udf in the outgoing payment to record the vendor's account balance and then using the query FMS ;
select balance from ocrd where cardcode = $[$4.0.0]
Assign the query in the UDF so that each time after entering the vendor code, the balance appears.
After add the payment, the balance is recorded.
In PLD, you can create the UDF field to make the balance appears in the outgoing report.

For uploading you need to create 5 GL masters
You can create one account grp Uplaod accounts.
Tax Catergory :*
Line Item Display : Yes
Open Item Display : Yes
Sort: 0001(Gl), 012(Vend),031(Cust)018(Asst) etc
FSG: g001
Under that grp you need to create all 5 accounts . All are balancesheet Accounts
GL Balance Upload Ac
Customer Balance Upload Ac
Vendor Master Uplaod Ac
Asset Master Upload Ac
Material Upload Ac
You should take the trail balance of the company and chose all gl accounts with balances
use LSMW uplaod GL balance upload f-02
Example : Salareis Acc - 5000 Dr Balance
Then entery will be
Salaries Ac----
Dr 5000
To GL Uplaod Ac 5000
Example : Rent Ac-2000 Cr Balance Ac
Then the GL entry will be
GL upload Ac----
DR 2000
TO Rent Ac 2000
Example for Vendor upload Account
Vendor Cr Balnce- 5000 and client want ot upload line item wise
ex line items are: 1000,2000,3000
Vendor Upload Ac----
Dr 50000
To Vendor Ac 1000
To Vendor Ac 2000
To Vendor Ac 3000
Same with the case of Customer, Assets
For material initial upload use T-code MB1C and movement type will be 561
After upload block all the 5 gl masters which you have created for upload
dont show this Gl in Financial statement versions.

Are you looking to change the image? If so go to system prefs, go to accounts. You'll see the image that you see at login, by clicking on it you'll be given a drop down with all the images which you can select a different right there. If you go to the root directory in the libray folder you'll see a folder user pictures they are in there. The root directory is the main device on your hardrive, you can open finder and see it listed in the sidebar. Hope this helps!

I am about to rebuild my X201 Laptop with Windows 7 Ultimate x64. I downloaded systemupdate40-2009-10-19.exe and systemupdate40-2009-10-19.txt. The txt file is extremely poorly formatted for notepad. It is one long line.
Also, from what I can make out in the description at the begining of the file it only has support for XP, 2000 and Vista:
"ThinkVantage System Updatefor Microsoft Windows XP, Windows 2000, and Windows Vista"

Define "the Aperture files".
Read this concise guide.
The files you imported into an Aperture Library can be exported (at any time, and repeatedly) using the command "File ▹ Export ▹ Originals". Your Originals are never altered. What went in is what comes out.
Adjustments and changes to the metadata that you made since creating an Image in Aperture by importing a file are saved to a text file. This file is combined, on-the-fly, with the Original to create the Image that you see in Aperture. There is no file saved to disk that is the full-size Image. Thumbnails are saved, and Previews are saved. These are JPG files, almost always smaller than the Original. They are not substitutes for the Image for the use you have.
When you need a file of an Image to use in another program, you export the Image from Aperture. "Export" means "Make me a file of this Image according to these file specs I'm providing". The way to get files of your adjusted Images is simple: create them by exporting. Specify "Original size", and use a loss-less image-file format (e.g. TIFF 16-bit) if you want to retain as much visual information as possible.
Search the Web for information about transitioning from Aperture to Lightroom. Note that I say "transitioning". You cannot move a database from one format to another without significant changes, and likely some loss of information. Adobe provides a tool and some instructions. I strongly recommend working out the process step-by-step, and then proceeding with first a few Images, then a bushel-ful, and stopping to use the first few, the the bushel-ful, before committing your entire collection to the process.
As always, never use any computer file without having a back-up.
We have seen mixed reports here of the success of the LR tool that creates a LR database from your Aperture database.
If you want to carefully define the process, and test and refine it, use the excellent process-development, analysis, and execution program inShort.
Sadly, there is not and can never be a good, thorough re-positioning of the digital assets in your Aperture Library to become digital assets in a LR database. Just as a metaphor for any user contemplating transitioning to another digital asset manager: that would be like digging up a house in one country, planting it in a hole in another country, and expecting to be able to use the toilet and the sinks, turn on the lights, cook dinner, and sleep soundly.

Hi, I had about USD $20 on my iTunes account (Gift Card from my daughter.)
But, when I changed my Apple ID (had to change e-mail addresses), the account balance disappeared.
How can I get my $20 back?

Hi Wyliepepper,
I'm guessing this is happening when you are updating Apps? If so, the reason is because Apps are tied forever to the AppleID they were purchased under. So, you will always have to enter the password for your old ID to update them.
I would suggest that you go into that old ID and change the password to match the password on your new ID. That way, it won't matter which ID is asking for a password, you just type in the same thing.
