Where is the Equalizer in iTunes 9?

I've been trying to figure this out for half an hour. It's probably right in front of me, but I can find it.
Is there an equalizer in iTunes 9? If so, how do I get to it?

I was just wondering where the Equalizer is on the "new" iTunes 8? On iTunes 7.0, it's simple, you go to View - Show Equalizer. Now, it's not there.
Can someone tell me where the equalizer is? Do you have the same problem?

Where's the music on iTunes, and what's with the quality and compatibility?

I'm just curious as to whether anyone else has had this issue or not: Does anyone else feel like, after searching for specific songs, there's just little to nothing in the database? I feel like most of my searches are pointless because iTunes has either no data of my requested search and/or only has bits and pieces of it.
Another question I have: After having a slightly successful search, why am I left with low quality tunes? I mean, you can hear the compression... badly. (I know it's not my speakers)
Last question: If I'm paying for the song, shouldn't I be allowed to download a universal file? iTunes uses a unique format that no other application uses. In other words, more money has to be spend for m4a to mp3 converters (unless you're a cracker [not a racial comment]).
To me, I value iTunes and its team, so I'm sorry if I've offended anyone. I understand there are contracts involved with the artists and it's hard to please ALL of the subscribers. But seriously, where's the music on iTunes, and what's with the quality and compatibility?

Today I thought of finally putting lyrics on my songs. So I've been quite some time busy doing that, then I tried it on my iPad (2) and I can't find them. Just as the people above say. Then I went to search where I can find them and I found this page. I'm really dissapointed and I don't understand how something like this could happen. So I hope Apple will fix this soon.

Under the "View" menu. The icon on the bottom right hand side is, unfortunately, gone as is the one for Visualizer.
On a personal note, I don't understand the mentality of taking away useful shortcuts such as those and it frustrates me when Apple does this for no good reason. This is not a case of "Think Different", it's more a case of not thinking at all. At least make it an option/preference that can be enabled....

Share to iTunes. Where is the video in iTunes?

Ok, I used the Share button to Share the video to iTunes. But now I cannot find it. Its not in the Videos or Music apps. So where did it go? Do I have to Sync with my computer and then transfer it to Videos?

The share to iTunes is for Projects, not videos.
You can find the project in the apps tab in iPhone-iPad options.

Have been to system and user libraries. Cannot find backup location. Newest iTunes is useless to me. Does the Apple GodStore understand not to mess up a careful store of documents?

Thanks. Am trying to find the backup files. Assume new files will be entered by drag & drop into the directory in iTunes. A path to an apparent hidden folder can be found using my username. But to find what is actually backed up is still unknown because of the coded filenames. Viewing the sidebar or toolbar is worthless as no PDFs or my created iBooks are accessible. Apparently Apple thinks we users out here in the weeds have faith in hidden directories. But I have 299 teaching files on my iPad that I cannot afford to lose. The sync button at the bottom of the "books" page produces the sync bar action but no files come up in the dialogs.

Update: This comes from their support dept.
"My iTunes" and other such features are disabled as traffic on the Store increases. You should be able to enable this feature from your Account Details page at a later time.

Where is the iMix on iTunes 11?

In the iTunes Store, I love to go through other peoples' playlists, especially theme playlists. This feature has always been hard to find, but it was possible with a lot of overworked navigation. Now it's IMPOSSIBLE to find. No iMixes ever come up when searching or navigating. Usually if a song is in several iMixes, those will show up at the left hand side of the store.
iTunes is losing a lot of business, as I'll often buy a bunch of songs from one playlist, and I know I'm not the only person missing this feature.
Why did they make this impossible to navigate? Is it just a site map error? I know that it still *exists* because I've published some playlists, and they still exist. I have a link to them, and it takes me to the correct page, with my uploaded playlists. Here's a picture to illustrate.

At the bottom, it shows the path iTunes Store > Music > Playlists > My Playlists ..... so you would THINK that clicking on "Playlists" would bring you back to everyone's playlists/iMixes, where you can browse and search as usual. However, even this turns out to be an impossible task. This is what happens when you click that:
It's an impossible wild goose chase. HEY iTUNES!! Bring back the iMix please!!! And next time you feel like "updating" your programs, please make sure that everything is consistent with past versions, and your links are purposeful.

I have quite a few playlists (whatever they're called) set up in the iTunes Store. I post these lists on a website and link them to the playlists in the store through the iTunes affiliates program, so that people can purchase the songs and I can make a nickel. Now I can't find my playlists on any menus in the store (I've looked everywhere). If I link from my website, the playlist I'm linking from comes up with My Playlists above it. I click See All and the full list comes up. But then, I can click on Create a New Playlist and a new window comes up, just like before iTunes 11. However, when I click on Add Songs and type in a song title or artist, I get "Your search had no results." This happens for any search I try. Can anyone explain what's going on? Is there really no way to create a store playlist anymore? If not, why are these nonfunctional screens still there? And is there no path to my playlists other than through links on my website?

Where is the content of iTunes located on my HDD?

Although I'm getting a new iMac in a couple of weeks (awaiting delivery), I received a warning on my PC that my HDD is full. I'd like to move all of my downloadable content on to my LaCie external HDD - which includes everything from iTunes and Audible.
Now I'm faced with a really beginner question - is the downloaded content of my itunes library (mainly TV shows) physically stored on my c: drive, or is it net based? Given that it takes 80 minutes to DL a 40 min TV episode, I'm thinking that it's on my HD somewhere.
Once I've located the physical library, is there an easy process to move everything form the c: drive to my external drive? I'm pretty much a numpty when it comes to technical things, and given my druthers I'd prefer to leave everything until my new Mac arrives and just transfer everthing once. However I've less than 5Gb of place left on my 325Gb c:drive, and I'm afraid my PC will implode before I get the chance!
I've already deleted everything non-essential, including all of my games etc.

Great question. The contents of your iTunes library are located in the iTunes Media folder. The following article outlines how to move your entire iTunes library to a new computer (via external drive is an option). Where are the audiobooks in iTunes 12?

I just updated my devices to iOS8, my computer to Yosemite, and iTunes to 12.0, but now I can't find my audiobooks in iTunes. I went into preferences to check the list of what shows up in iTunes, but I can't find that list anymore. How do I find my audiobooks? Thank you in advance for your help.

I can answer that! The bar right under the play controls has all the options. You probably only see icons for music and movies or something. But if you click on the three dots next to it, you'll see a fuller list. Mine has Audiobooks in there. But just click the "Edit" and you can add it to the list of items that always show on that bar.

Apple...where is the fix for iTunes 9.2??

It looks like many people are having problems with the 9.2 update. My trouble is with syncing. I have an 80GB iPod Classic. Whenever I plug it in to the computer, iTunes starts to sync, but then it freezes. I thought it could be an iPod issue, so I restored the device. Now, I have an iPod with no music on it. This issue is starting to get very frustrating. Apple, will there be a solution soon??

When you start the sync it will freeze for say 20 second and then starts up again. I had the same problem and did the same trouble shooting. task mgr said not responding and I said lets see what happens and let it go. After a few second it went. I have not had a problem yet. I plugged in the wifes and no problems!!?? Go figure??
