Where is the firmware information?

I updated my firmware in my S110.  When I went to the Playback menu, the firmware listing had disappeared.  What am I doing wrong?

Hi Otwong,
The "Firm Update..." menu choice only appears when the camera detects a firmware update file in the root directory of your memory card.
If you put such a memory card in the camera, since you've applied the firmware update, you should see "Updated Already" when you press the FUNC SET button at the "Firm Update..." menu option.

  • Where is the connection information stored for Mac Remote Desktop?

I want to restore Mac Remote Desktop connection information from a Time Machine backup to a new Mac.  On the new Mac, I've installed Remote Desktop from the App Store and installed all the files found in
    ~/Library/Containers/com.microsoft.rdc.mac from
a Time Machine backup.  But I don't see my old connections.  I also don't see any connection information in my Time Machine backup here
    ~/Documents/RDC Connections.
Where is the connection information stored?

The path is correct. You could try to get an console log during application launch. This log might give you information why the information is missing.

  • Where is the additional information for a file located.

This picture display the GetInfo on a file on my computer.
    http://www.digimixstudios.net/FileInformation.png
It saves where I got it in "More Info" and what program will start to "Open with".
My question, where is this information being stored?
I'll just be thumbing thru the API documentation to look for this, but if someone can tell me the specific API, that would just cut down my search time.

I'm familiar with Logic's tempo in the the event window and on the global tracks. My question is: how do I find the tempo information within an imported midi file? Logic is not recognizing the information, so I want to find it and set the tempos myself - if possible. (It must be possible.)
If you import a MIDIfile, or drag it to the arrange, you are importing the sequence data into your current project. In other words, regardless of the tempo in the midifile, you are importing into Logic at Logic's current tempo, ignoring the tempo stuff in the midifile.
if you want to retain the tempo in the MIDIfile, you must "Load" the midifile, not import it. This creates a new project with all the tempo information contained in the midifile.
Logic has behaved this way the same since the early days.
In Logic 7 the event window's width could stretch. Since then only the length stretches. There are always notes from the author that are cut off now.
I don't like the current event list window either...

  • Where is the formatting information in JTextPane or RTFEditorKit?

I'm trying to figure out how to find the formatting information in either JTextPane or RTFEditorKit.
Specifically, I need to get a list of all formatting tags in a document, and where they are mapped into that document.

Take a look at the underlying Document object.Dude, I have, for a good long time now.
Specifically I need to know how to rip out selected sections of the document and build 2 text files. One containing text from the document with certain character attributes (such as red color), and the other with other attributes.

  • Where is the Firmware for the Zen Sleek Ph

    Hi,
I've been having problems with my Zen Sleek Photo ever since I bought it 2 months ago. Every so often it would freeze on boot-up, so I would have to reset it with a pin to get it to start up. This morning it started going really haywire so I decided to reload the firmware - of course, my disks are at home and when I looked on the creative site here at work, there was no sign of any firmware for the Zen Sleek Photo (it's almost like Creative don't realise this product exists!). Anyway, where can I download the latest firmware?

I think Creative should add the Sleek Photo to the player list in downloads and add the latest version there (I have version .0.0e). I ordered my player in December (for Christmas). There are a few issues that I have addressed in my "A few annoyances with Zen Sleek Photo 20GB (Request)" thread.
Sadly there has not yet been an update to fix the artist listings etc. as mentioned in my thread
I got in contact with another Creative Zen Sleek Photo user who also li'ves in Switzerland and has the same problems (tracks not been sorted correctly even with correct ID3 tags, which work in many many Windows applications).
By the way, sadly the Sleek Photo gets a load of dust under the screen too, unless you are very careful. I have been unable to remove most of the dust even using compressed air! I would rather not have to get it replaced because of this (unless Creative makes a slightly new casing model to prevent dust under screen) as I would probably end up paying rather a lot for postage (it's going indirectly through another company)
I hope there shall soon be a firmware update addressing these things,
Thanks for any response to this,

  • Where is the tempo information in a midi file?

I thought that eventually I would just stumble on it and have a 'duh' moment, but it's been a long time and I still can't find it. GarageBand adjusts to a midi file's starting tempo, so sometimes I use that as a reference. In Logic 7 the event window could stretch out to expose hidden information - I don't why that's been locked up since 8. And of course classical midi files change tempo constantly.
So, how do I tap into this essential information?
As always, thanks for the help, Bob :o)

I'm familiar with Logic's tempo in the the event window and on the global tracks. My question is: how do I find the tempo information within an imported midi file? Logic is not recognizing the information, so I want to find it and set the tempos myself - if possible. (It must be possible.)

  • Where is the Album Information and Art?

I just purchased and downloaded my first album from the iTunes store. OK it cost less than if I bought the CD but it doesn't seem to have much information besides the songs themselves. Some of the songs don't even list the composer. And isn't there supposed to be album "art" downloaded in additon to the songs? If so do I have to do something in iTunes to access that information?
I was hoping that an iTunes purchase would obviate the necessity of buying the CD but if the additional information is not there, then I still have to buy the CD.
    Thanks.

Perry, if this is your first purchase from iTMS, please be aware that it's your responsibility to backup your purchase. You're only allowed one download.

  • Where is the port information stored in HSS for HSS mode Essbase servers?

In order to test .sec file validity, I started up a temporary server on port 1426. The .sec file was copied from an existing SS mode Essbase server. This worked fine and I stopped the temporary server. However, now in Shared Services, the Global "Analytical Server" instance inside the "Analytical Servers" project now points to port 1426. I can no longer manage the real server on port 1423 in HSS. Can somebody tell me where this port information is stored so I can change it?
I don't want to have to re-externalise and mess about like that because I tried this on a test box and got into a horrible mess because externalising creates new analytical server instances in HSS with a new index number which doesn't match the original one etc. Horribly mess.
This port number must be stored somewhere in HSS? It's not in OpenLDAP I think as I exported the whole server as LDIF and the string "1426" does not occur in the export. Couldn't find it in the HS9_HSS database either but perhaps I missed it.

For reference, I found out how to fix this:
Look in the Repository HS9_HSS for the table VERSION_CONTENT
in the HUGEBLOBS (which are XML fragments), you'll find the the settings. Export, alter, import.
    Restart HSS and Admin services.

  • Where is the firmware update for my ipod touch

I recall that there was a firmware update for my 1st Gen Ipod Touch. I did not do it at the time, but would like to do the update now to the most current firmware available for my touch. I am now on version 2.2.1 (5H11) Can anyone tell me where I can find the newer firmware? Is there any benefits to the new firmware or should I just leave it as is?

  • Where has the song information gone from the mini player?

I also hate the new iTunes 11. I could probably get along with its user unfriednlyness if they'd left the mini player alone. I like to keep this on top of my other windows so I know what's playing and how long a song has left to go. The new version removes this useful information in favour of a uselss mini LP cover that's too small for anyone to see. Does anyone know if there's way of getting back to the previous version without reverting back to iTunes 10. I tried this but it wouldn't let me because its linked iTuines with OS X.
I\'ve never complained about an upgrade before but this looks like it was put together by a bunch of idiots.

The new miniplayer also shows songinfo, but shows the playback controls on mouse-over (and hides song info) However! If you have one of the controls 'selected' (blue highlight) then the songinfo won't come up anytime. Try selecting the miniplayer and pushing TAB a few times.
Probably because you have this selected: (old screen, but same option)

  • Where's the window information?

I'm running Mountain Lion 10.8.1 on a new Macbook Pro. In my open folder windows, the information bar at the bottom of the window which displays the number of files and available space is longer there. I can't find it anywhere. I've check the View preferences, Finder preferences, System preferences, as well as the Customize Toolbar settings in hopes of finding a means of "turning it on", all with no success. This information may be trivial to some, but is a quick way of visually verifying and comparing files when copying or backing-up large numbers of files. Is there anyway to restore this feature?

One other thing that the Path Bar is good for in case you didn't realize it, the path displayed is 'live'. That is you an grab it and drag it to other windows and the path will be copied into that window. (If you drag it to a Finder window the file/folder is moved)
You can also grab just a piece of it. Say you want the parent of the folder you are looking at, you can grab that icon and when you drop the path only the part up to the parent is copied.
It's especially good for getting paths into the Terminal if you do any work there. Saves a lot of typing.
Comes in very handy once you realize it is there and use it a few times.

  • Where does the timestamp information of the FP1000 module come from

I am using the FP 1000 module with a serial link to my PC. When I read out data (with help of the Data Socket in VB) I can obtain a timestamp with Data.GetAttribute("TimeStamp", "0:0:0").This timestamp does not change when I change the time of the PC. When and how is it set?

The timestamp for FP-1000/1001 modules are generated by the FieldPoint Server residing on the host computer. The FieldPoint Server synchronizes to the computer's time when the server launches. Once the FieldPoint Server has it's base time, it calculates new times by measuring the elapsed time through the use of tick counts. This makes it insensitive to changes in the computer's time. This method generally is more stable for timestamp information as you do not get jumps in timestamps like you may get if an application is constantly changing the computer's time clock.
The FP-1600 modules have their own onboard clock which is synchronized to a Time Server, a computer running the Lookout Time Synchronization Service. The FP-1600 modules will continually synchronize t
o the Time Server and to some extent will reflect jumps in computer time if it changes more than a certain amount, but small changes are averaged out through a PID loop preventing discontinuities in the timestamp. However, if the FieldPoint Server or OPC Server lose communication with a FP-1600 for any reason, the timestamps returned will be from the host computer's clock as described above for the FP-1000/1001 modules, as long as the server can not communicate to the FP-1600.

  • Where is the album information (title, track names etc) stored?

I have two Macs, and on one I went through the arduous task of labelling a bunch of CD-R's I made ages ago in Itunes, and now I want to import those discs via different encoding into another computer, but don't want to have to re-enter all that info. When I put the discs into the original machine, the info is still assigned to the disc. I want to migrate that info to the other machine so I won't have to re-enter this stuff. I feel like I found this data at one point ages ago, but now I can't. Anyone point me to it? Thanks!
