Where is the Lion version of Property List Editor?

I've downloaded XCode 4.1 and the Server Admin app in a vain attempt to find the property list editor. Does anyone know where it is?

This worked perfectly, thanks. I just had to adjust the permissions on the PListEdit.framework folder to match the other framework folders. I wouldn't have found it in the PrivateFrameworks folder without your help. Much appreciated.

PlistEdit.framework (located in /Developer/Library/PrivateFrameworks/) and the "Property List Editor.app" from an earlier XCode-Installation and throw them into the corresponding folders of your XCode 4-Installation.

Unfortunately, it doesn't seem as though Apple's reference to Portuguese support is entirely accurate. Or, depending on your point of view, not accurate at all. : - (
In addition to there not being an option to select Portuguese in the iTunes Preferences, this article in the Apple Knowledge Base says that the language used in Portugal's iTunes Store is "British English".
I'm guessing the reference you found means to say that there is an iTS for Portugal, not a Portuguese language iTS ... or a Portugese language iTunes for that matter. But it doesn't say it very well.
You might want to let Apple know your opinion on the matter by submitting the form at the bottom of this Support page .

domain rename is NOT supported when using Exchange 2007 or higher. And NetBIOS rename is NOT supported on ANY Exchange version.

There are maybe also other applications/services that do not support this.

Connecting your MacBook Pro and your MacBook Air will be the fastest way, but you have to spend money on cables and adapters (also, your MacBook Pro doesn't support Thunderbolt).
As you have a Time Capsule, one thing you can do is to start your MacBook Pro and make a Time Machine backup. Then, turn on your MacBook Air and set it up. Setup Assistant will ask you to restore a backup, so select the option to restore the backup from the Time Capsule and be patient. This can take a lot of time if you have to migrate a lot of files

Yes, Xcode can be installed without a full re-install. Xcode is a separate package available on the original installation disk (look in the other installs folder) or it can be downloaded from here http://developer.apple.com/technology/xcode.html

Adjusting system.log with Property List Editor

Hi,
I had my system.log set up to rotate every seven days by using the Property List Editor with my older 2.0GHz Mac Mini OS X.5.8. I have upgraded to a faster Mini OS X.6.4 and now the system.log renews every day. Can someone tell me which plist I need to edit to get my system.log to go back to renewing every seven days? I am getting tired of having to change the permissions every day to view the log, and I want a longer time span in each log.

Actually, that sudo shouldn't be necessary: TextWrangler should ask you first if you want to unlock the file to make changes. When you want to save it should ask you to authenticate, and then it can save the file. But you're probably right about being in your admin account.

I do have one question though. For future reference for anyone wanting to do this if I want the log to rotate every two weeks instead of every week and save the last seven logs what would be the entries that I would make in the TextWrangler document?
In that case, I think you'd make the "when" field just a number of hours. In this case, 336 (168 hours per week times 2 weeks):
# logfilename [owner:group] mode count size when flags [/pid_file] [sig_num]
/var/log/system.log 640 7 * 168 J
I haven't tested the two week interval, though, since it's kind of a long time...
Or, if I wanted to have the log rotate after it reaches 2MB and save the last seven logs what would be the commands to use in the TextWrangler document?
Just change the "when" field to an asterisk, the "count" field 7, and "size" 2048:
# logfilename [owner:group] mode count size when flags [/pid_file] [sig_num]
/var/log/system.log 640 7 2048 * J

You may need to bring up your Menu Bar to see the Help menu.
If you're using 11.0.x, click on the wee boxy icon up in the top-left corner of your iTunes to see the "Show Menu Bar" control, as per the following screenshot:
Once you've got your Help menu showing, go "Help > About iTunes" and wait for the version number to scroll up from the bottom of the screen, as per the previous versions.

Where is the Lion download stored?

Just finished downloading and installing Lion on my iMac. I'd now like to install it on my MBP, but really don't want to download another 3.7 gigs of data. Where is the download stored? Is it saved after installation?

I have read that it is placed here, though I've not been able to confirm this yet:

I tried chaining an Acrobat 9 installation with all th updates using the setup.exe that comes with it and it doesn't work.

Every time I get iPhoto version 9.something, it says I can't install it because I don't have the previous one. Where can I get the right version?

Where is the Lion OS download link?

Just bought iMac. It came with Snow Leopard. It is supposed to let me download Lion for free. But I cannot find a link on the website. Not the $29.99 link button since I am not supposed to pay. I can find downloads for many add ins, but not for Lion O/S

For the sake of completeness and in the spirit of giving back (thanks to those who posted help above):
problem solved. They really do need your credit card information and it has to match up to your iTunes account card before you can download Lion. Also, they will generate a very long code and then you have to enter that code into another window. Pretty cumbersome. And now I am waiting for the Lion download to finish. I see comments from others that this is taking a very long time for them and it is for me. I understand that this is a new method for Apple to deliver downloads of its software. Looks like Apple servers are not able to support this approach at this time.
At one point in the process they will ask you the place of purchase and right under that the city. The place of purchase is who sold it to you and if it was the Apple Online Store you should enter Apple.com. The example they show is XYZ company. That is not supposed to be the company you work for, but the location of the seller. The next line down is the City. You might think from the context that this is the City of the seller, but IT IS NOT. It is the city where you live. Apple should clarify that. A feedback to Apple for what its worth:
Seems redundant to ask for the seller name and the buyer city since they also already have your credit card, the serial number of your device, your apple account ID, your name, your email address, Etc. Sure does not convey that Apple is sensitive to privacy issues.
