Where is the privacy setting for the trial version of cs6 photoshop. I would like to turn it off. The answers given by 'Staff' are incorrect - it is NOT locared within Help/Adobe Product Improvement Program! I use W7 64bit.

You are correct.
The privacy settings will be those of the "trial experience" and that has nothing to do with the APIP.

How can you change the default setting for the alarm for new events?

When I create a new Event, it will create an alarm that will activate 15 minutes before the event. I'd like to change the settings so the default setting would be that when I create a new event it will activate 1 day before the actual event. Is it possible to change this? Thanks.

Sure.
_Go to iCal > Preferences > General >"Add a default alarm to all new events and invitations"
_Change the current value from 15 minutes to whatever minute value you like (1440 for 24 hours).
_Of course this will only affect NEW events. Not those already created.
_Close the window and your done.

I am needing to set the DEFAULT Print to be ACTUAL SIZE not FIT. I need this to be the DEFAULT SETTING for the program.

I have a couple users using Acrobat XI Pro and when they print a PDF it is shrunk to 96.08%. I need to find a way to set the DEFAULT Setting to be Actual Size. We are a Law Firm and the Document Numbering is being cut off from the docs due to the Shrinking.
Has anyone had any experience in changing the DEFAULT settings of the Print Window? Can you please pass along any knowledge on how to accomplish this? Thanks for your time and replies.

Acrobat and Reader's Fit and Scale functions are "sticky".
From the Print Dialog > Page Size & Handling
Any option you choose will remain active for all subsequent documents.
(Some features remain active until the program is quit/restarted)
Choose Actual Size
Do not change the selection, it will retain the setting.

What is the default setting for the volume?

i was trying to adjust the volume on my pro but now everything seems louder than it should and wen i put the volume low, its still loud. help! my ears hurt =(

Problem with the EQ setting for the music app

I have an iPhone 6. Whenever I listen to music on my iPhone, I set the equalizer (EQ) in the settings app to Rock. However, whenever I stop playing music, and then begin playing music again a little while later, the EQ has reset itself to "Off". I am constantly having to go back to Settings to reset the EQ. Is there something I can do to stop the phone from the EQ by itself?

What is the factory setting for the Brightness Control?

Hi. I'm calibrating my monitor and I have to set the Brightness Control back to the Factory Setting. Does anybody know what the factory setting is? Thank you!

That may still be too high. The brightness is really cranked up on monitors these days. I doubt even at the minimum setting if you can get to the recommended luminance of 150 cd/m².
This link might help you determine the best setting. As you are adjusting the brightness up and down, you might see a subtle difference; a lot depends on the capabilities of the monitor.

Will someone, preferably from Adobe, PLEASE give a straight answer to this question. It is such an easy question and the answers seem to be bending over backwards to avoid it.
The question is: What must a Reader user do to change the directory to which Reader, by default, points when instructed to save a file?
The current default is the Windows "My Documents" directory. The goal is any directory of the user's choice.
The question does not ask how to modify or attach add-ons to Windows. It is not how to add icons to Windows save dialogs. It is simply how to adjust Reader to specify a different default save-to directory. Maybe it's a line in an INI file or other configuration file. Maybe it's a registry key. But it must be something, because Reader somehow knows how to point to "My Documents." How may the user change it?

I used my iPad on the Music setting to play on my Bluetooth speaker. I would like to use the Bluetooth to play on the Yamaha recording app. but it only plays music from the Music app. How do I turn off the Music app?

I found a solution. Turning the iPad completely off and restarting it allowed me to play the Yamaha recording app. It is an awkward way to reset/remove the imusic setting. Is there a better way?

De-sync all your music to remove it from the device, then restart (hold down the home button along with the sleep/wake button until you see the apple, then let go). Now re-sync your music.

Where is the Mac Place command using icloud version of CS6 Photoshop?

I am a beginner and I am following the online tutorials.
The problem is that when I go to 'File - Place', there is no Place command, only 'Place Embedded' and 'Place Linked' commands.
Are these the same as the Place button? Confused...
