Where is the profiles in Acrobat 9

When I try to do a preflight on Acrobat 9, I cannot find the standard profiles that should be loaded with Acrobat.
Path Example: Advance:Preflight:Profiles then blank dialog box where the profiles should be.
Questions:
1. What happened?  It shows up on the other computers here in the building (both mac and PC).
2. How do I get it back so I can use Acrobat 9 instead of Acrobat 8?

I still did not get a satisfactory answer to the question above.
Can you help me???

Thank you! I feel stupid, but at least I know now

Where are the profiles stored for Profile Manager?
I created a profile attached to a user group and then made the mistake of removing the group without first deleting the profile.
Now the orphan profile can't be managed (it's no longer visible) and is still being pushed out to users.
The group I deleted had another group as it's members.
    Example:
Active Sync User Group was a member of VPN Group.
VPN Group was deleted (it had the VPN settings payload)
Profile with VPN settings are still pushed out to Active Sync User Group even though VPN Group no longer exists.
I'm hoping I can manually remove this profile but I'm thinking it may be contained in Postgres. If that's the case I would appreciate any suggestions/methods to access the database to make modifications.
    Thanks

The information/data for apps is stored together with the app in both the iPad and in the backup on your computer. When you drop a file in the file sharing section of apps it gets added to the backup and to the iPad. When you delete it it get deleted from the backup and from the iPad.

  • Where is the "Profile" section in Project Property window?

Hi, first time use this Oracle JDeveloper. From the tutorial it seems that inside the Project Property window, the left pane, you have the "Common" section and "Profile" section. Inside "Profile" section it's the "Development", then under Development you have "Paths" "CodeCoach" "Compiler", etc.
My problem is, in that left pane, I only see a "Common" section, I don't even have something called "Profile". This makes it impossible for me to set the class path, because according to the tutorial, I need to change something under "Development" which is under the "Profile".
    Any advice welcomed! Thanks!

    Hello all,
I'm trying to use ADF Faces. According to the document, http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/jdev/htdocs/partners/addins/exchange/jsf/doc/faq.html, section 3.5:
"You need to enable J2SE 1.4 Assertions. In jdev this can be done in project properties (Select Tools -> Project Properties -> Profiles -> Development -> Compiler -> Enable J2SE 1.4 Assertions.)"
I'm using JDeveloper 10.1.3.34.12 on Mac OS X, java version 1.5.0_02-56. How do I enable J2SE1.4 Assertions?
    Thanks,

The lens profile downloader gives you access to profiles created and uploaded to Adobe server by users. The profiles you mention are supplied by Adobe as part of the Lr3.3, Camera Raw 6.3 and DNG Converter 6.3 installer. Also, they are only compatible for use with raw images and won't even be visible with Lr unless the images are raw. If you can't see them, then theres a very highly probability that it's because you haven't installed one or other of the application I mention above or your images are TIFF, JPEG or PSD.

  • Where are the profiles...

i've updated to acr 5.5 and installed all the necessary profiles, dng converter etc. however, in the camera icon under adobe standard nothing shows up no camera neutral, landscape, faithful etc...
is this because i have to have these picture controls turned on IN CAMERA?
about all the new update does as far as i can tell is denote the type of camera i shot the picture with eg. coolpix 5400, 5000 or D300
can anyone explain how to get the camera profiles to appear under adobe standard?
    thanks,

You do not state if you are on Windows (and the version of Windows) or the Mac. If you installed the profiles with the Adobe installer, they should be in the correct directory. The directory with Windows depends on how you were logged in during the installation. With my Windows 7 machine, my camera profiles are in the following directories:
    c:\ProgramData\Adobe\CameraRaw\CameraProfiles\
    c:\All Users\Adobe\CameraRaw\CameraProfiles\
And the profiles made using the DNG editor are in:
c:\users\Bill\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\CameraRaw\CameraProfiles. AppData is a hidden directory and you need to enable hidden directory display to find it.

  • Where is the download for Acrobat X Pro?

I have bought the creative cloud 6 standart and i can not find a download for Acrobat X Pro.
I have downloaded the trial for Acrobrat XI Pro, but my Serial number doesnt work there.
    What should i do?
    Thanks, Kat

I am using the download Assistant. And no matter where i click, it only ever gets me to the download of the Acrobat XI Pro, but not the Acrobat X.
Even when you go to the product page of creative suit it tells you try or buy Acrobat X, but when you click try you get to Acrobat XI download.
This is really frustrating, as I purchased this product and am not able to use it. And no body seems to be able to tell me were i can find the right link to download it.
I have tried chatting to the online support team, but they dont deal with Acrobat problems (which took him half an hour to tell me).
I have never encountered a more complicated way of finding all the right downloads.
Is it not possible for you to email me a link to the right download?
Since it is not the newest version it simply isnt available in the download assistant. And i do not want to download the whole package as i already have all other programs i need.

  • Where is the logfile for Acrobat Pro Extended 9.2 on Windows ? (regarding Microsoft Office 2003)

My installation of Acrobat Pro extended works printing all types of Microsoft Office 2003 documents (Word, Excel, Pagemaker, etc) but NOT with Powerpoint and I'm trying to get more information other than what I'm seeing in Powerpoint when I try to create the PDF which is "an error occurred while trying to print the Adobe PDF"
where would I look for the log file?
    thanks

    RESOLVED!!!
The private data of the DEVMODE data structure may be corrupted when you use raw mode to print a document in a 32-bit application on a computer that is running a 64-bit version of Windows
    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/930627
After installing the above patch, it works like a charm.

  • Where is the Profiles folder located on a Windows 8 machine?

I have to transfer my Thunderbird LOCAL FOLDERS from a Windows XP machine to a Windows 8.1 machine. How to do that?

    open Thunderbird.
Press F10 and select the help menu
Click on the show folder in Troubleshooting information.
OK so that is the Thunderbird profile folder unique to your installation.

  • Where is the download for Acrobat Standard 9?

I can't find a download for Acrobat Standard 9.  Acrobat Pro 9 is on the direct download site but not the standard version.  I have a valid serial number but it doesn't work on the Pro download.

This is correct there is a separate Acrobat 9 Standard installer.  If you choose the download option at the time of purchase then please see http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1006208?tstart=0&promoid=KBHJQ for information on how to download Acrobat 9 Standard from your account.

I recently upgraded to Windows 7.

You have permissions issues on the respective folders, e.g. Windows\System32\Color and so on. Fix them and allow all apps to access the contents.

My computer is Win8.1 64bit. Where can i download Adobe acrobat DC 64 bit? The application manager always download 32 bits application for me!
(I tryed PS and AI just now. the application manager installed 64bits PS and AI. Why it can't find a 64bit acrobat for me?!)

Acrobat runs as a 64-bit application on Mac. Acrobat on Windows is a 32-bit application that can run and has been tested on 64-bit versions of Microsoft Windows 7 and 8, and Windows Server 2008 and 2012.
