Where is the recovery key for the final step in the sync setup?
I have account from a previous attempt. On device one, I go to set up sync. I answer I have an account [attempt to reset the account resulted in "email address already in use" error]. Device 1 shows three pair a device codes.
Device 2: I go to the Firefox home page. I choose sync at the bottom, and enter the three codes on device number 2. I then answer that I have an account, enter my user name and password, and am asked for a recovery key which is to be found under sync options on device one. It is not: all I have are the options for what data is to be migrated [and I checked all].
How do I complete the sync procedure?
"I don't have the devise with me" should be a link at the bottom of the page that open if you click "I have an account" on the initial setup page.

I am so sorry to inform you that Acrobat XI Standard is not available on Mac, you can only use it on your Windows computer.

Windows 8.1 Pro Shows me Identifier/Key ID & I have the Recovery Key File with 48 digits
I also have the password written down on a piece of paper, neither one work. When I right click to unlock the Gold Lock, I type in the password it will not work, then the system shows me "Key IF: FCB##### number, it matchs the key on the digital file.
Not matter what I try I haven't been able to unlock the 1T HD, it did encrypt the few files I had on the drive, then I was adding more, all was fine until I shut it down and tried to log into it the next day. Since then, nothing. Like I said I did save the
file "BitLocker Recovery Key File" no good, won't unlock.Can anyone help?
I even have a copy of it in the cloudHi Encryptionist,
How did you configure the Bitlocker ?Have you configured a password to unlock the drive?
To unlock the Bitlocker drive ,we just need to input the password if we have configured it. If there are letters in the password ,please check whether the caps lock has been enabled .
The recovery key is used when we forgot the password .The identifier ID showed in the inputting dialog should be corresponding with the ID in the recovery key files. Please ensure they are the same.
If the issue persists, the specific drive may have suffered a corruption. Please use Bitlocker repair tool to recovery the data.

I cannot sync my Firefox 18 desktop with iPad or iPhone browsers. I have tried everything suggested on the Web and have tried safe mode as well. When I enter the three-line synch code, I get a sync failure. I have deleted my account and then set up a new account without success. Manage Account does not appear in the options sync tab. You can find the sync account password and the sync (recovery) key in the password manager on computers where a sync account with a specific e-mail address has been set up.
Look for:

Escrow the recovery key in DB server and not in AD when removable drive is encrypted.
Is there any way to escrow the recovery key in the database server and not in AD when removable drive (USB drive) is encrypted via manage-bde command line? The data recovery agent is not enabled in our organization.
"Choose how bitlocker protected removable Drives can be recovered" for removable drives is disabled in our Group policy also.
Please advise. Thank you.As far as I am concerned, you cannot do that when you are using the command line "Manage-bde".
The reason is because, the manage-bde command line parameters doesn't support saving recovery keys to databases. Also there is not any group policy defined for it.
I you want an option to save recovery keys in a database rather than the AD, I would recommend to use MBAM (Microsoft Bitlocker Administration and Monitoring).

My left shift key on Macbook Pro Retina (15") is behaving like the F11 key (show/hide open windows).
The left shift key behaves the same on the laptop keyboard and on an external Apple keyboard.
This just started in last week after 6 months of use. The right shift key and other keys on the keyboard all appear to work correctly.
Suggestions greatly appreciated.I have a solution to this issue now after a discussion with Apple Support. Some where in the last few weeks, there was a change in the key that would do a Show Desktop under the Mission Control settings in the System Preferences. Even though the key sequence that was shown for the Show Desktop setting did not include the Left SHift key, by changing this first to having no key sequence and applying that and then changing it back to the F11 key, the Left SHift key issue that I was having has cleared up.
A second issue that was uncovered was that the SSD had some issues (uncovered when I ran Disk Utility using the Repair Disk key). I had to restart and use the Disk Utility through the Command R sequence to get to the stand alone Disk Utility. The SSD appears to be running better as a result as well.

You don't.
If you forgot or lost the password, all you can practically do is reset it.
The manner in which you do so depends on what version of OS X you are running. The older versions utilize the reset password utility on your recovery/re-installation disk/drive.
On Lion, you use the following technique to reset the Administrators password:
Boot to your Lion Recovery Partition, by holding down the Option key while starting, and then selecting the Recovery HD as the boot choice.
Once booted, at the top of the screen is a menu ..., select Utilities / Terminal from the menu bar.
In the Terminal window, type “resetpassword” (without the quotes) and press return. A “Reset Password” window will open. Select your boot volume (your SSD drive) if it is not already selected. Select your administrators username from the menu labeled “Select the user account” if it is not already selected. Follow the prompts to reset the password. Restart the computer from the apple menu. -
And the password, I have tried unlocking the Gold Key Locked drive by right clicking on it in file explorer and also going to the control panel, In both area's I have tried the password phrase and the Recovery Key 48 digits I have in both the Cloud and on
a secondary HD, so what I am saying is I have all the information and I am still unable to unlock the drive.

The only thing I did, was when I signed back into the drive I recreated the file, but it shpould not have done a thing because I used the same password phrase.
I also so have that written down on a piece of paper, so I have it on paper, in a digital file and in the Cloud and it just will not open the drive.
I need help, I have also use the command prompt all to no avail. it gives me a "Wrong Password", there's no way because I was using the same phrase P/W and I was going in and out of the drive. It wasn't until the next day that I was unable to get
back in.

Do you mean that you can’t use the password and recovery key to unlock the BitLocker encrypted volume?
Have you made any changes before this issue?
Do you receive any error message when you use the password to unlock the volume?
Please double check if you have input the right password and recovery key.
Please check if you have forget that you change the password and recovery key.
Additionally, we could run the command repair-bde to repair drive.
The following example attempts to repair drive C and write the content on drive C to drive D by using the 48-digit recovery password specified. The recovery password should be typed in eight blocks of six digits with a hyphen separating each block.

My LG Optimus Zone is having software issues and I can't access the Recovery Menu for a Factory Reset. It was working fine until I went to activate it and update the PRL. It turns on, but Freezes on the LG Logo. it currently goes into the LG Download Mode, and When I restore with LG's Mobile Support Tool, It finishes, reboots, and stays at the boot Logo. Did you follow the steps in the last post? Did anything change? If you cannot get into the BIOS, then it is done. Try a BIOS recovery. Some of the newer computers motherboards have a BIOS recovery but I cannot tell if that is one.

Q.: How can I create the recovery discs for my MSI laptop/AIO computer? (For Windows 7 systems)
A.:
1. Locate the "MSI BurnRecovery" shortcut on your desktop or start menu. Run this program. (Note: If UAC is enabled, press "Yes" to allow the program to run.
2. MSI BurnRecovery will prepare the files. This process may take a few minutes.
3. Click on "Next" to continue.
4. Click on "Advanced".
5. Click on "Create an ISO file for the recovery disc".
6. Select the destination where you want to create the ISO files. (Default is the D: drive)
7. The program will now create the ISO files. This process may take up to 20 minutes.
8. Click on "Finish". Make sure the box is unchecked.
9. Browse to the location of the ISO files. Double-click the recovery_dvd file. (Note: Depending on your system, you will have 1-3 recovery_dvd files)
10. Insert a blank DVD (If the AutoPlay window pops-up, close it). Click on "Burn". It is also recommended to check the box to verify disc after burning.
11. After burn is complete, click on "Close".
12. Double-click the recovery_dvd2 file.
