Where is the small ALARM 'icon' in iCal day view Events??

I am almost certain that with iCal 2 (Tiger) when I set an alarm (and I set a lot of alarms)- in the Day view when I looked at the event I could see a small alarm 'icon' or picture or visual indicator (whatever one would call it) that that event indeed had an alarm set.
But for iCal 3.0.6 with Leopard 10.5.6 (which I installed last week) - the events show no indication of whether there is an alarm set or not.
How to get this nice little feature back?
ALSO: Is there a way to do a search to find just events which have an alarm set (i.e. find all events which have alarms)?

I too miss the alarm icon feature, as it is now cumbersome to verify whether an event has an alarm or not.

How do you set/change the default alarm TYPE in iCal?

I like to think I'm a power user, but this one I just can't figure out. The question/problem is: How do you sent the default alarm TYPE in iCal? The problem is illustrated in the picture below in the blue circled area.
Specifically, whenever I set a new event in iCal, it defaults to this window with the default alert being "Default (1 hour before)." The one hour before is fine, but the problem is, WHAT is the default? It seems to be just a sound, but that's not good enough to actually alert me of anything.
The goal I'm trying to achieve with this post is to determine how to CHANGE the "default" new event alert FROM "Default (1 hour before)" TO one of two alerts that I actually find useful: I want MY "default" new event alert to be either "email" to the primary address, OR, "Message with Sound".

Understand. I am in the edit mode for my contact. I see all the contact info. There is no right click or other means to change the DEFAULT address that autofill uses (it also is first to appear if I type my name in an e-mail). For instance for a group e-mail you can change the default addresses of each contact by control-clicking on the group in Address Book. I can't seem to make the default change in my v-card.

I probably just missed something stupid but I could use some help please.

Every financial institution (bank, credit union,...), every news outlet (print/TV/Radio/blog) reaches out to millions of elderdly folks and other non-geeks and tells them to run away as soon as they dont see a Key or Lock on a secured page (or maybe so-called secured page from what I get you are trying to push through).
This is a major Change Management disaster waiting to happen... Not just for Firefox but for every web site using secure transactions. Countless organisations are going to get calls from users telling them, "Your site is not secured, Oprah and CNN told me so".
Go for color scheme or other visual indicator to warn of security level, but absolutely dont lose the icon !

Where is the "reading list" icon in Safari 8.0.4? I need to put it in my menu bar but I can't seem to find it in "Customise toolbar" or "Prefs"

OK, your are looking for "Add to Reading List" button.
It is available by default but hidden.
Move the mouse pointer to the very left in the Safari address bar, a "+" sign in a circle will appear.
Click it to add an item to Reading list.

ICal day view header date error

I'm having an issue with the date header in the iCal day view. No matter what day I select the calendar displays Saturday, November 27th, 2010 in the header (at the right top corner of the screen). The date near the top of the agenda on the left side of the screen is displaying correctly and changes as I change to different dates. Also the icon in the dock is displaying correctly.
I've tried various basic things such as quitting and restarting iCal. Also I've reviewed the preferences for iCal as well as the system preferences and haven't seen anything that would make a difference.
Any assistance or thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Quit Calendar, and go to System Preferences....>Language & Text>...and set/re-set your "Region:" Restart Calendar.
If that is not successful, quit Calendar again, and paste this text ~/Library into the Finder Menu>Go>Go to Folder...window and select "Go." This will open the Users Library Folder.
Next open the Preferences Folder in that Library Folder and move the com.apple.iCal.plist file to the Desktop.
Log out/in or restart and open Calendar.

Where is the burn cd icon at in the new version of itunes?

This weekend, I was trying to burn a pearl jam show for a friend at work. I know the show has about 45 tracks; so it needs to be an MP3 cd. I believe I have to make a new playlist, and then drag and drop the files into mp3 format. But my question is where in the world is the "Burn CD" icon located? Please respond ASAP!!

Yes you need to make a playlist of the songs you want to burn, but I don't know what you mean by the rest of that sentence.
The burn disc icon is in the bottom right hand corner of iTunes next to the browse eject disc icons and will only appear if you click on a playlist. It looks like this.

Updated to v.9.0.1, lost the small colored icons before ezch bookmark, how do I restore the icons?

Cross pens, Centurylink, Sears, etc. Before the upgrade, there was a small colored icon before the bookmark. Now, some have a dotted line square box with no color or icon and others have nothing at all before the bookmark.

There is some information in there that should help you to resolve your issue. Luckily, it is a very easy fix.

Where is the "Arrange Document" Icon in Top Menu Bar in PS CS6?

PS CS5 had icons in the top menu bar where the "Arrange Documents" icons were located. Now I can only find them in the Window drop down list. Are they still available in CS6? It was nice not having to find them in the "Window" drop down list.

If there are particular arrangements you often use, assign keystrokes to the menu items.

Where is the arrange windows icon now in Photoshop CS 6?

Hi there, just installed the CS 6 of Photoshop on my Windows 7 PC.
It seems, that the small icon for arranging like two or more open windows (files) have been disappeared in CS 6. I only can arrange them via the drop down "Windows" which I think is one click to much, as I use this feature very often. Is this gone for good or is there a way to bring this icon back?

Chances are the button will not be brought back.
Using the menu, it's the same number of clicks either way: One. It's just a slightly more complex mouse movement. Try using it for a while; I found I got comfortable using it the new way in about a week.

Copying dependent files, Where is the application server icon?!?

I have looked at the Dreamweaver help sites and I cannot figure out where the application server icon is! I am currently running CS3 on a mac thats running OSX 10.4, and I'm trying to upload my site from a different computer than I originally had the files. First I expand my files window in the window>files menu. But then I have no idea where the 'application server icon' is which is supposed to re-link all my dependent files I think? Please, anyone can you give me the co-ordinates of this icon?? I will love you forever!

Help!!! where is the ipod disk icon????

ok....so I read the instructions for how to download text files into your ipod like fifty times....and i do everything it says there over and over again...but there is no " ipod disk icon" coming up anywhere. They said it would just appear on your desktop, and that is how you would be able to drag files onto your ipod. I don't know where to drag my files to....where is that ipod disk icon? I tried just dragging them into Itunes and all that, but it doesn't work, obviously. What do I do??? thanks

The iPod will appear in My Computer as a drive on windows. What you are referring to is what occurs on Mac OS X.
