Where is the "Source Pain"?

Several instructions in the iPod nano manual say:
"Open iTunes and select iPod nano in the Source pane."
Where is this darn source pane????
When I open iTunes, it doesn't say "iPod" anywhere...HELP!!
iPod nano (2nd gen?)   Windows 2000

The area that is called the source pane, or source list is on the left hand side of iTUnes where you see your Library, Music, Podcast, iTunes store ect ect
If you don't see the ipods name on the left side in the source pane, you need to see if the ipod is listed in windows under "My Computer" as IPOD or Removable storage

  • Where is the source panel?

In order to restore my iPod (cause its nothing but a pain in the rear!) I have to do the following:
After a few moments, your iPod will appear in the Source panel in iTunes.
Select your iPod in the Source panel and you will see information about your iPod appear in the Summary tab of the main iTunes windows.
    yea... where's the source panel????

Have you had a chance to look at these troubleshooting pages? They may be of some help:
iPod shows up in Windows but not in iTunes
iPod missing in My Computer and in iTunes
iPod is not recognized properly by computer when USB drivers are not installed properly or are out of date

  • Where is the "source list" within iTunes?

I am completely new to iTunes & iPod, and am having serious trouble just trying to figure out the basics.  I believe that either something is wrong with  my USB port or something may be wrong with the iPod Nano, but cannot say for sure. Ultimately, I need to know what/where is the Source List on iTunes.  I have the most recent version of iTunes downloaded & installed.
    Thanks,
    ImaHousemouse

Prior to iTunes 12 the sources list used to appear above all other playlists in the sidebar. The sidebar could be turned on or off with Ctrl+S. The source list is now a row of icons. Press the ellipsis button (highlighted) then use the checkboxes to show or hide sources. Press the Playlists button when viewing a source to display the playlists sidebar.

  • Where does the source code of linux reside in arch

Just wonder where is the source code. In freebsd, all the source code is in /usr/src, does arch have that directory? or do I need to install something to get source code?

tomk wrote:Arch does not install the source code for anything. Under /usr/src/linux-2.6.17-ARCH, you will find the kernel headers required for building other apps, but apart from that, if you want the source code for the kernel or any of the apps, you need to get it from the relevant website/ftp server/etc e.g. kernel.org for kernel source.
no, those headers in there are for kernel modules only. the headers for applications are a sanitised copy based on 2.6.12 and exist in /usr/include/linux.
As for the source to Arch packages, we have something similar to fbsd's ports system (ports is on fbsd isnt it or am I wrong), it's called abs:

  • Where is the Source of JavaFX

I have download the JavaFX SDK, it looks contains the src.zip only for the core runtime, but not include src for:
    javafx-gui.jar
    javafx-swing.jar
    websvc.jar
And it looks the source is also removed from the openjfx-compiler SVN trunk, So can somebody tell me where is the source?

I think Sun should either disclose the source code directly, or open source completely. I cant understand why library source code unavailable.

  • Where's the source code for the JavaFX 8 Samples?

    Hi,
I just downloaded the samples for JavaFX 8 and the menu popup on the top left really caught my attention.
I'd like to study the source code for it. Does anyone know where I can find it?
I expected it here http://hg.openjdk.java.net/openjfx/8/master/rt/file but it seems it's not there.
Alternatively: Jasper Potts presented a Kiosk App at Devoxx 2012 (Antwerp), which was also used at JavaOne. I think this app uses the same Menu. And he said sources are available. But I can't remember the link.

Oh, too obvious. They are directly included into the zip. My bad I didn't notice them. I had expected them to be online somewhere. Thanks!

  • Where is the source codes in the project

    Help! NetBeans 6.5 Compile.
Old man trying to learn Java and tools provided by SUN.
I down loaded all those swing demos. I throw 3 demos into NB-6.5 to compile with existing source. When I start building got the message says compiled class file in the ?build? folder. Recommended to delete. If I clicked ?yes? or ?ignore?, it compiled and ran OK.
One of my problem is, I like the source codes in the edit window and another one is I can not find my source in any folder in the project..
    Project folder :
    E:\NbProj\NbProj-1
    \NbProj-2
    \Nb/Proj-3
    Swing Demo source
    E:\DnLd\DemoZips
    \Source
    \demo.java-1
    \demo.java-2
    \demo.java-3
Is it because of my setup?
How can I get source codes into NB so I can learn NB and provided tools by editing compiling.
Appreciate for any education to an old man.

In netbeans, File > New Project. In Categories select "Java", in Projects Select "Java With Existing Sources".

    Hi,
If you are aware of BSP_WD_CMPWB transaction then you may be able to notice the  'View Layout' section towards the bottom of the 'View Structure' tab. In the section if you double click on the htm page it will take you to the htm page layout. The htm page has the same name as the view.

  • 6985  and 6881 for any subsequent APDU. Where is the source of the problem?

    Hi.
I'm trying to load applet to Athena Card (Java Card compliant) with JCOP Tools. Although the load process finishes successfully, subsequent install [for install and for make selectable] APDU is responded with 6985 error code - Condition of use not satisfied (according to Global Platform specification 2.2.1). After that any APDU sent to the card is responded with 6881 error code - Logical channel not supported (according to ISO/IEC 7816-4 document).
I'm sure that these errors are not sent from our applet. First of all I double checked the install routine of the applet and it does not send such error. Second, I don't use any logical channel, only the main one.
What may be the source of this behavior?
    Thank you in advance,
    Best regards, neutrino.

    I have JCOP41 v 2.3.1 and it has RetailMAC.
I'm implementing now this algorithm and it's too complicated. Could you give me suggestions on how to implement it?
I have already wrote these lines (not completed yet, but I'm sure you will understand what I'm trying to do). Please forgive me for ugly code. I'm a C# developer and I do not have enough Java experience in my background.

  • Where is the source or class path setting in 10.1.3.1.0.3

    Hello,
Switched to 12 from 11i today.
Very dumb question I guess but I am stuck at this - trying to compile a seeded controller or application module in my project. For example I have
    import oracle.apps.ar.cusstd.personalization.webui.CustStdPersonalizationImpl;
    in the seeded controller.
The class oracle.apps.ar.cusstd.personalization.webui.CustStdPersonalizationImpl is right under my $JDEV_USER_HOME/myproject
(I also have JDEV_USER_DIR pointing to the same place D:\oracle\jdevr12).
    I added
    D:\oracle\jdevR12\myprojects
    and
    D:\oracle\jdevR12\myprojects\oracle\apps\ar\cusstd\personalization\webui
to Project Content but I am still getting
    Error(12,8): CustStdPersonalizationImpl not found
Where is the place I should set my classpath?
    Can someone help?
    Thanks,
    Anatoliy

  • HT2736 Where is the source list??? This is way too confusing. (-_-)

I just want to add money to my iTunes account online! I'm so frustrated. I thought this could be done through email, but I can't find the "source list" that was mentioned.

Certain versions are available for download - dig around at java.sun.com, links to the source are there.
