i ve got an apogee condenser mic to record my acoustic guitar and singing. in box there was a cable for connection to ipad&iphone. but that cable was not able to plug in to my ipad 4 (retina display 16 gb wi-fi).i need an adapter or an another cable to plug in the microphone into ipad.but which pin?which kind of adapter?thank u

The new Airs have mini displayport connectors. I don't know what ports your monitor has, but if it has an HDMI input you can use a mini-DP to HDMI adaptor (these are available from Apple) and then a regular HDMI cable to connect to the screen. Similarly, a mini-DP to DVI adaptor and DVI cable if that's the port you have on your monitor.

What is your Oracle version, and do you use dedicated connections or "shared servers"? From your port number invoked (1521), I'll guess you use dedicated connections. In that case, the listener (located at 1521) will "spawn" a dedicated process for your session, and tell this process to start on another port (usually falling on a certain range, depending on your OS). An easy way to see this would probably to turn listener tracing on. Here's what I found in the log file after I started a new (dedicated) session on my 10.2 DB:

I called Apple Support and they walked me through it. They told me to basically copy and paste my music to the external hard drive. (I think.) The Apple power supplies work at from115 to 240 volts. The only adpator you need is the little plug that converts our flat pins to the ones use in Vietnam. The last time I needs one for my trip to Israel I went to Ace Hardware and they help me find exactly what I needed.

Does anyone have a 'recipe' for processing photos for the ipad retina display.
I'm a bit confused as to trying to print to jpeg (with what settings?) or export.
I've tried a bit, but not been really happy with the results.

This is effectively a Publish Service which can publish via FTP directly to a client app on the iPhone, thus bypassing iTunes and the iPad Photos app completely. I converted to this a few months back. Well worth a read.
PS I use exactly the same settings as Rikk, although I first crop all the images (VCs) to 4x3 if possible to ensure they are viewed full screen on the iPad.

As far as I could see - only once. All morning I have had trouble with connecting to my WiFi. I blame AppleSupport who were trying to help me with a totally different problem and they asked me to "Reset" my iPad - and I lost my Wifi connection and had a huge amount of trouble getting back on. Now every time I boot up the iPad and try to get on-line it asks for my Password for WiF! Not happy.

Here a short follow-up on this issue. I called Apple about this problem. I need to get the laptop to an ASP for display exchange. The ASP said ordering new parts and repair will take around two days. At least this is good news.
Apple would have only sent a new laptop within a 14 day grace period after delivery. As soon as your out of this time you'll only get repairs.
