Which HP Printe ?

I need to get a new printer and want to make sure I can print to it via my network/WIFI and my iphone/ipad. It seems confusing which HP printer is airprint enabled.
Any one can give me a UK list
Thanks

I can go one better - visit this website :
http://netputing.com/airprintactivator
Install Airprint Activator and follow the instructions on the website. You will be able to print to ALMOST any network printer without installing drivers on your iPod Touch, iPhone, or iPad.
NOTE : There is one caveat - if your setup doesn't work immediately, then remove and re-add your printer in Print & Fax on your Mac. I had to do this to get it running and Airprint Activator has been working flawlessly since.
This program uses printer sharing to be able to print from the i device, so you will need a Mac to install the program on and, obviously, will need printer sharing enabled on the Mac you install Airprint Activator on.

Hi When going from Develop module to print module a white boarder appears on screen which also prints via my epson r3000 printer. I can get round this by exporting photo to Elements and printing from there but can i get rid of the boarder and print from lightroom?

In the printer driver (accessed through the Page Setup button) set the Advanced tab to borderless. Then in the right hand panel under Layout set all the margins to zero.

Does this essentially mean there is no way to fix this problem on my end? It's a pity because the design and branding of my brochure will suffer if I remove transparencies and use different fonts. It also concerns me moving forward because it means the quality of print on my pieces will be significantly lower because most commercial printers use Adobe products.

  • Which martix printer can print out the chinese charaters in SAP .?

    Dear all ,
I want to buy so me NETWORK martix printer which can print out the chinese charaters in SAP ( NOT IN FrondEND ) mode .....
Can you recommand some model to me ???
    Many thanks ..

    Hi Kishan,
Thank you for your very quick reply but I found another solution.
I made one add-on device type, copying from 'JPSAPWIN',  one add-on spool format, copying from 'DINA3' A3-format spool formant SAP provides, and modified them so as to output correctly both in size and in fonts.

  • Which inkjet printer is compatible with my iMac OS X version 10.8.5 computer?

Hello:  I need some help.  Which inkjet printer is compatible with my I Mac OS X version 10.8.5 computer?

I am confused. On the Apple KB article that you suggested, the Canon Pixma MX922 does not show that it is compatible with my computer.
It is listed. It is shown as the MX920 series, because different countries have a different name for this model (it's known as MX926 in Australia).
Are you wanting to connect the MX to your wireless network or direct to the Mac via USB cable? Either way, the supporting printer and scanner driver will be downloaded from Apple and installed on your Mac.

No problem whatsoever so long as you have a German store account which can only be registered using a German credit card which is registered to a German street address

  • Is there a plugin which removes print point heads from a scan?

    Hi,
I'm making a book, and I'm using CS5 for all of the artwork. I am trying to scan in some images I have already printed to put in the book, (of older digital pictures), however, when I do a high-resolution scan, I can see the print heads in the picture, (the little bullseye points where the printer puts toner onto the page). When I try to print the image using my HP 1518NI laser printer set to 600 DPI, the image comes out all garbled. I can tell the software can't distinguish between the spaces in-between the print heads.
The way I'm fixing this problem right now, is doing painstakingly long digital altering of the scanned image. It is a complex and tedious job of blurring and sharpening the image to make it print properly. And even now, there is still some slight distortion. I can't simply blur out the points, because the image becomes degraded.
What I'm looking for is a plugin, program, or technique I can use to simply convert those bullseye points into a digital image which my printer can recognize. I know something MUST exist, because publishers publish books all the time which use similar technology. Could anyone please point me to a plugin, or a tutorial which can help me?!
Printer- HP Laserjet 1518ni. 600 DPI CMYK laser printer
    Software- Photoshop CS5
Scanner- Brother fax machine scanner, (does the scanner type matter?)

EdF41, you’re right, the OP seems to be talking about inkjet-prints, so I’m also unsure about the results.
bobert498, why do you scan those printed images? Has the original data been lost?

  • We want to know which department print this paper

    Dear Sir ,
Kindly ,In our company we have a 3 kind of printer to  network and one is local
The network are  HP Color LaserJet 3600n  &HP LaserJet 4250n and local is HP LaserJet P2015
Our CEO ask IT manager if we can make every printer when they print make a mark or symbol for each printer for example  for it department  when I print the printer  by default print a paper and last of paper make a code  : RUH020  and all of department same thing with another code for each department
Simply, we want to know which department print this paper .
Finally, I hope you help me with that issue .
    Best Regards
    Ali Alhetela

Depending on your network setup,  you may be able to add a separator page for each printer job. If you print a header on the separator page which gives the printer model, you would then know which printer the job came from. You can reuse the separator pages, if you don't print a large amount of text on them.
You can also manually mark the edge of the paper ream for each printer, by making a line with a marker on the edge of the pages. You can use a different color for each printer, or you can put the mark on a different part of the paper edge, for each particular printer.
Although I am an HP employee, I am speaking for myself and not for HP.

  • Any way to select which page printed with AirPrint ?

Got an HP 6250 with AirPrint which set up very easily and works well with my iPad 2.  But how can you get it to print just 1 page or a selected portion of a page. It doesn't seem to offer those options. It prints the whole article wasting paper and ink when I just want a selected page or paragraph.
    Thanks, Dave

  • Reader fails to print some files which Evince prints

I am using a Canon MP510 printer with no problems except with Acrobat Reader 8.1.4. Reader 8.1.4 will print some pdf files provided I choose the option "Save Printer Memory". However other files fail to be printed although there is no problem printing any pdf file with Evince. In the Windows version of Reader one can choose the option "Print as Image" in the Advanced tab. I suspect that this option might enable me to print the problem files but I cannot find it in the Unix Reader. How can I configure Acrobat Reader so that it prints all pdf files as does Evince?

    Hello Rishi,
I've attached a sample pdf file which I can print with no problems with Evince or Xpdf (using kprinter).
However, when I try to print it with Reader 8, I can see it in Kjobviewer where it sits for some time before showing "Error" under status. There are no other error messages. When I first click Print, I see for a second or so on the Canon printer screen a message saying that something is to be printed and then it reverts to standby. Also, when I next print with Evince I see the message "ps to canonij write error .32.". However, this doesn't stop subsequent printing and disappears thereafter.
Thanks for the tip about Printing as Image in Acrobat Reader 9. However, I have had to revert to Acrobat Reader 8 since Reader 9 will not save files to Windows partitions.

  • Is it possible to create a gradient mesh object with 2 spot colors which separates & prints as a 2 color print job?

I have a gradient mesh object which uses 2 spot color values (including some tints of those 2 colours) which I'd like to print as a 2 color print job. Is this possible? If not, any suggestions as to how I should proceed? The print job MUST be 2 color. Ideally I don't want to use raster objects but if I have to would appreciate any advice on the easiest way to transform my 2 color mesh object into a matching duotone raster object.

I'd really say it's that PPD with the new n-space features of CS3 and CS4. If I use your PPD I get the same shoddy results you do with the postscript file. In fact, Acrobat Distiller errors with a log...

If I use your PPD, print your AI file to a postscript file, then simply open the resulting Postscript file with AICS4, I see the same bad results that I showed in the movie. I think the PPD can't handle the new method of breaking out spots in gradients. Just to test this theory... try a different PPD and see if that works, at least to show the seps properly.

  • Which photo printing service to use?

I am relatively new in Apple over from Windows and want to start installing photos from Canon camera using a card reader.I like to do a light editing /correcting/ before I send the photos to a printing service.I have not done this before, therefore I need some advise as which service would be the best to use?Can I send the photos through the Internet and get them back in the regular US Mail printed?I would probably want nothing larger than 6x4 prints.
    Thanks for all advise

That is totally a personal choice - I sometimes use CostCo - The Apple printing service is the easiest to use and has good quality
I've pretty much stopped doing prints and do iPhoto books instead

  • Which multifunction printer

    I need a new mult-function printer (print/scan/copy - faxing is not required).
I'm considering the Canon PIXMA MP460, Canon PIXMA MP530, Canon PIXMA MP600, and the HP PhotoSmart C4180.
Can't find any of them listed on the iFelix list of printers (www.ifelix.co.uk/tech/1013.html). ARE any of them compatible with Airport Extreme networks?
Any insight? We have a G5 PowerMac (with an Airport card), a G4 Powerbook (sometimes 2), and our Airport Extreme Base Station is linked directly into the house cable line (we're on broadband cable for internet access).

I can recommend the Canon MF8380C. It has a document feeder that supports duplex scanning to Lion, either via Image Capture or Preview or 3rd party application like Acrobat Pro. You can also push scan documents from the machine by first configuring the scan settings using the Canon MF Toolbox that gets installed on the Mac.
The print quality is good for office documents, but not that accurate for colour proofing. It uses Canon's proprietary UFR2 v2.30 driver of which the Lion version of this driver is available from the Canon web.
As for the monthly volume, 1500 pages per month is the maximum recommended volume, so not sure if this would suit your business needs. It's recommended monthly volume is 800 colour pages.
