Which is better apple ipad2 or samsung galaxy tab2

I just got a samsung tab2,but I wanted to know which is better ipad2 or tab2

Since you have a tab2, obviously you think it's better than an iPad 2. If the reviews say the iPad 2 is better, are you going to return the tab2?

  • Installing Flash Player on Samsung Galaxy Tab2 10.1 running Android 4.2.2

I need Flash Player on my Samsung Galaxy Tab2 10.1 running Android 4.2.2, but I'm getting a message that it's not supported on my device.  Why is it not supported?

Your tablet (Kindle or Galaxy) uses the Android Operating System.
Adobe stopped ALL development of Flash for Android last year. (July 2012) That includes Kindle as well as Samsung Tablets. Additionally, Samsung and Amazon have ended support for Flash in ALL of their newest tablet models.
The following is from Samsung Support (07/31/2013):
"Beginning August 15, 2012 we will use the configuration settings in the Google Play Store to limit continued access to Flash Player updates to only those devices that have Flash Player already installed. Devices that do not have Flash Player already installed are increasingly likely to be incompatible with Flash Player and will no longer be able to install it from the Google Play Store after August 15th, 2012."
    And from Kindle Support (07/31/2013):
"The Amazon Silk web browser on Kindle Fire 1st Generation supports some, but not all, versions of Flash. Adobe Flash is pre-installed on a 1st Generation Kindle Fire and is disabled by default.
If you see a message to install Flash while using your Kindle Fire, this means that the content you're attempting to view uses Flash. If you want to view the content, you'll need to enable Flash through the Silk settings menu.
If a web page suffers from slow performance due to Flash, or you're unable to view a web page with Flash enabled, we recommend switching to mobile view when browsing a Flash-heavy website to see if that solves your problem:
Some popular websites may also have an app available. Check Amazon Appstore, accessible through the Apps library on your Kindle Fire, for availability.
The Amazon Silk web browser on Kindle Fire 2nd Generation, Kindle Fire HD 7", and Kindle Fire HD 8.9" doesn't support Flash.
Some sites use alternative web technologies to Flash in their mobile versions. We recommend switching to mobile view when browsing a website with Flash content to see if that solves your problem:
Some popular websites may also have an app available. Check Amazon Appstore, accessible through the Apps or Games library on your Kindle Fire, for availability."
    See: http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/archived-flash-player-versions. html
There are older versions of Flash Player (for Android) at that link, but there are no guarantees any of them will work.
See also: "How do I manually install Flash Player on my Android device?"
You can find info about "Dolphin" for Android at: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=mobi.mgeek.TunnyBrowser It seems to be the browser of choice to play Flash content on an Android device.
Also, check the Android forums to see what their "gurus" recommend.

  • Samsung galaxy tab2 won't connect to my hub

Hi, I wonder if anyone knows how they get there hub to allow a samsung galaxy tab2 to access the wifi. All I keep getting is that it finds the hub, I then enter my password when prompted. The tablet then shows as authenticating, then save and secured appears under hub name, but within seconds keeps reverting back to authenticating and then back to saved and secured.
There's nothing wrong with the tablet's wifi as I took it back to the shop and it connected with their wifi immediately. I have windows nokia smartphone and that works fine. I've tried a suggested solution of manually connecting but still no sucess.
One person suggested accessing my router and entering the mac address of the tablet but I have no idea how to access my router. Please help if you can as my money is looking to have been wasted at the moment.
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

Try going into your phones wifi settings. Select your Homehub and click and hold on it. This should bring up an option to forget the network. Select this option. Once done, turn off the phone then restart it. Go into the wifi settings again and scan for networks. Locate your Homehub, making sure it is your homehub and not a neighbours, and select it. Enter the wireless passkey found on the rear of your Homehub. (see link). All being well it should connect.

If this doesn't help then do a factory reset of the Homehub by pressing a pin into the recess button on the rear for about 20 seconds then try the above again. The factory reset sorts out any configuration problems in the hub.

  • Which is better Apple Ear Pods vs. In Ear Earbuds

So which is better? I can't really tell the difference because there like the same. Unless I'm not paying attention to the bass and tremble.

Haven't tried multiple EAR files before but encountered constraints when using one EAR file.
For example, we may need to wait for another colleague to complete his portion on programming so that we can proceed to implement the entire EAR file. Is this also a constraint for multiple EAR files application ?
If we can separate the EAR files into different modules, different colleagues can work on different modules concurrently. It could be more efficient... Is that the case ??

  • Which is better, Apple Mail or Outlook?

I've been happily using Outlook for quite some time for a couple of reasons.  One, when I migrated from PC, I was using Outlook, so I continued with it on the Mac.  Two, it did some things better than Mail, like messages with pictures and particular text more often looked as I intended on other people's computers, Mac or PC, while emails sent from Mail often changed the font or took the pictures out of the body of the email and simply added them as attachments.  So I felt that Outlook was friendlier and more logical and I actually prefer the look of it.
Only thing is, Outlook no longer syncs with my Mac address book.  I need that because it syncs with my Iphone and it syncs over Icloud across all my devices.  So now, when I want to add an email address from Outlook to my Address Book, I need to copy and paste and it's just a bit of a hassle.  This made me wonder if it was time to move to Apple's Mail program.  So I wonder if there are people who have used both, particularly the latest version of both, and have views about what is good or bad about each of them.
For me, the Apple Mail app seems better intergrated on the Mac (no surprise there), but I notice, for instance, that a picture attached to an email in Outlook shows the file as an attachment, while in Mail, it doesn't, but instead displays it in the body of the email.  You can't see the name of the file, just an icon of a paperclip.  Maybe no big deal, but a bit odd to hide the file.
In Mail, it appears that you can't organize each folder of email as you like it.  The organisation is universal across all folders.  Change the setting in Inbox and it changes in all of the folders.  Maybe that doesn't matter, but it seems an odd restriction.
Anyway, it's a bit pain to make a whole move, so I wanted to get some feedback from people who have used both.  I have no issue with using a Microsoft product if it's the right one for me, so this isn't about Mac vs. PC, just about the relative merits of both apps.
    Thanks!

Since you have a tab2, obviously you think it's better than an iPad 2. If the reviews say the iPad 2 is better, are you going to return the tab2?

  • Which is better Nokia's 500 or Galaxy mini...i am ...

(personally i am nokia's fan bt i dont know why android's pulls me to itself)
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

What so ever SAMSUNG offers NOKIA is rocking in all fields like Hardware Quality, Support and features. SAMSUNG sucks in all above fields.
K do not believe me or anyone else who is support of NOKIA. Just ask for proper User Manual from SAMSUNG for any of the handsets. 99.9% features are not explained in the manual. You need to learn by hit and trial. Moreover, 99.9% mobiles upto 15k does not support PC backup of contacts. Menus are damn confusing and useless.
I already wasted around INR 1,00,000 on useless SAMSUNG phones. If you still wanna go for SAMSUNG (any phone) just remember to learn everything (even untold truths) first.
Though, I am CDMA fan but as NOKIA is no more in CDMA I am forced to use GSM. I wish NOKIA re-start production of CDMA handsets.
I wish Nokia Start CDMA Handset in India again.

  • Which is better: Apple PowerBook G4, or Apple iBook G4?

I have been thinking of getting my own laptop. Should I get Apple PowerBook G4, or Apple iBook G4?

Allow me to suggest that you first research the games you wish to play and become thoroughly familiar with their system requirements, especially the requirements for video hardware. Then look at computer models with that in mind. If you don't understand the hardware jargon, find a friend locally who does and ask for help.
We see plenty of reports here from people buying the cheapest Mac notebook to save money, knowing full-well it has entry-level graphics hardware, and then get mad at Apple when some high-end game won't run because it needs more powerful gfx hardware. Don't join that club, please.
The Dell you linked will not meet the sysreqs for SWTOR as shipped. As it has the lower-performing Intel GMA integrated graphics, you'd have to increase RAM to 2GB and then it still may have to run at the lowest resolution settings. I suspect it will disappoint you.
    Observations:
---New games need newer computer models and that cost more.
---Few notebook computers--regardless of make--are good gaming computers. Heat is the enemy of any notebook and most high-end games run all the hardware at near-capacity, and the laptop get really hot.
Research, please, so you aren't disappointed.

  • I need opinions. I currently on dilemma on buying iPod Touch 4 or Samsung Galaxy Tab. Comparing these two, which one is better? Why? Tq.

Well, I want to buy a new gadget for myself. But I currently don't know which one to choose yet. Both iPod Touch 4 and Samsung Galaxy Tab are great inventions! But i can't afford to buy both of them. So i'm asking all of you, any ideas or opinions on these two gadget? Which one is better and why? What do iPod 4 have that Samsung Tab don't have and vice versa. Thank you so much if you replying this.

I'm having the same issues you are having on my S3.  I was on the phone with tech support (Verizon) last Friday for about an hour.  I had to get a bit nasty with the tech when he attempted to blame Samsung for this (Samsung didn't release that update without Verizon's OK- and have you noticed Verizon has added their logo to the startup now?).
My data usage has gone up, battery draining much faster (and I have an extended battery!) and I had to re-load some of my widgets on the phone (including the My Verizon widget).  The tech had me start the phone in Safe Mode (holding down the power, volume rocker and Home button at the same time until the Samsung logon screen shows then let go of the power button while continuing to hold the other two buttons until the phone logs on completely).
Whatever he did remotely seemed to make the phone act better yet he decided I need the update 'reflashed' to the phone.  First he credited my account $30 to take care of any possible data overages.  He then contacted my local Best Buy store to see if they could 'reflash' (upload the update again) the phone.
I went to Best Buy and had it done the next day.  I think the phone was better before the 'reflash'!  The tech gave me his personal Verizon cell number so I will be calling him back today.
An update for the update is coming yet the release date hasn't been confirmed.  The tech said my account will be monitored for any overages in which I will received credits to cover it.
Good luck, Ginger- and I agree with you: if this doesn't get fixed I will move my business to T-Mobile!

  • Which tablet is better the Kindle or Samsung ?

My family would like to replace our Nook tablets with either a Kindle Fire HDX or a Samsung Galaxy Tab.  I have my own and my 2 kids each have their own.  I like to know which one is better the KIndle or the Samsung?

Well this is an easy one, the Samsung is by far more broader in what you can do and is a favorite among many people for different reasons. The tablet is great is for small business/personal use. I would encourage you to lean more towards it for several reasons.
If I may though, I would wait until the end of the year before I consider a new one as September is generally when Samsung releases new products.
I am not affiliated with Best Buy nor have I ever been employed by Best Buy. All of my thoughts and posts are of my own opinion and personal experience.
I may not always know the right answer, but I will always tell you what I do know. I also do free computer analysis and consultation via private message.

  • Is the iPhone 5 better than the Samsung Galaxy S4/Lumia 1020?

Is the iPhone 5 better than the Samsung Galaxy S4/Lumia 1020?

Like almost everything in this world is a matter of choice, but, if it is to logically make a choice here are a few criteria you should consider before picking up a smartphone:
    Do you really need it? - if not, the money will stay better in your account;
Set up the budget and consider the fact that smartphones get upgrades faster than computers and laptops, will you be able to upgrade?
Which operating system are you familiar with?
What are your needs and expectations from the smartphone?
    What type of person you are (email/chat/SMS/Social Media-man aka. communications, multimedia, productivity, gamer, etc.) this will help you chose the appropriate hardware and check out what are your options regarding the existing applications for your needs;
    Are you always on the run or work in an office? - this will help you decide from the battery life point of view;
If you own a tablet you might just need a simple smartphone.
Samsung does not really innovate in terms of functionality and usability, they only copy what others do and make it their own way. Android is not a mature operating system, yet. I like some of its features, of course, but I can rely on it when it comes to productivity as I'm a person who sends 100's of emails per day and need to easily manage the messages.
You can have the best hardware in the world but that's useless if you operating system is bad at managing those resources, you will not be able to exploit the device to the fullest and you might cry over the money you've spent :-) Nevertheless Samsung has a large market share, makes good phones, but not quite smart, they are rather... intelligent, a smartphone is smart from the day you buy it, you don't have to put it in training mode :-)
As about Lumia, I don't have much to say, it's what iPhone had at the iPhone 4 version minus the 40MP camera and the operating system. If I want a good camera then I buy a camera, a Canon or Nikon :-) Yes, the Krait CPU, so what? That CPU is managed by a Wi*dows OS and that should say everything. I'm not against Micr*soft, they had/have their part in technology progress, but I'm more into stable operating systems, I'd chose Android over Wi*dows, yet Nokia were always great at hardware and batery life. Bad choice for Nokia, look at their sales and you will understand.
That's just my two cents, but iPhone is the choice of millions when they chose their first smartphone: is user friendly, solid, great hardware specs, lovely screen, wonderful support, high-level security, multimedia at its best, a design that catches the eye, looks and feels great in your hand, it's light, you have millions of verified apps in the store and a nice community to tell you all these :-)
