Hello All,
I have integrated the SAP PS with CATS and I want to know which all reports i can use to confirm the PS transfer is successful.
As soon as the CAT5 is run and time is transferred i want a report for the confirmations of the transfer is successful.
I am trying to use the CJI3 but that report is not clear because it does not give the informations on the hours transferred, and
many times i get no line items to be selected.
Why i get no line items selected when i pass the project ID in CJI3. ??

Please help in resolving following issue:
Create a new library that joins these tables (in client system) GLPCT and ZFKHALIX that report painter could use. If we had this then we can create a P&L report that properly breaks out COGS and SGA in the same way as ou khalix feed.It would also save a lot of time in month end reconciliation between two tables.

Library can be created only with reference to a single table as in GR21. If you are looking for joins of tables, ABAP Query may be the answer. There, you have the infoset where you can join two or more tables. And based on the infoset you create queries.

Which text editor can use User Defined Languages?

On Windows, Notepad++ is able to use User Defined Languages. On a mac, I know of no text editors that can use them. Not only that, my mac stubbornly refuses to acknoledge the existence of .ecl, .dnh, and other scripting languages. I bundled Notepad++ and used AppleScript to make an executable, but it is not funny when you have to manually open Notepad++, then search for your file, then open it, then do things with it rather then clicking the file for it to open.
I would like to know if there are ANY text editors that can run User Defined Languages on a mac. Please do not tell me to use Winebottler to package Notepad; I already have Notepad++

Or, put your text file on DropBox, using the iPad app and email a link to others, or put it on MobileMe (iDisk app) or sharevvia iWork (online sharing for Pages documents).
Besides the word processing apps like Pages, there are a ton of notes and notebook apps which have various file sharing capabilities. Plain Text is a free plain text editor which links to a DropBox folder, e.g. And the Elements app will sync to DropBox and also let you email. There are many others.
The trick is figuring out what you need--how much formatting, e.g.--and what type of access by your PC is most convenient. I use apps that sync to DropBox or MobileMe, so that those files are always accessible. Much as I love MobileMe for syncing my calendars, contacts and to do lists, I prefer DropBox for document access and I've found iWork unreliable.

At the moment, I would like to learn more about BI and SAP BW.
I am just wondering, there are few reports options which are available. When we need to choose using Crystal Enterprise Report, or SAP BW Reports (Workbooks), or Cognos? Because all of them can produce the same reports I guess. Thanks a lot for the information.

All tools you have mentioned are data warehousing tools. Actually BI and BW are same for SAP but when you say BI it speaks more standards for data warehousing. Form NW 2004s onwards they came up with BI namespace. Pls read the following docs:

My current setup is this, my non apple router is accessed wirelessly by all my computers, ie imac, mac mini and macbook pro, ipad & iphones for internet.
My printer is in another room so therefore I cannot connect the AEBS (airport extreme base station) with an ethernet cable (I have intially in order to update the firmware and other updates) so in following the attached guidelines are you saying that I have to have the AEBS connected with the ethernet cable to the router?
I was hoping to wirelessly connect.
The wish is that all my devices can print wirelessly
What has happened though is that I can access the AEBS wirelessly, but it has disabled me from my router so I cannot connect to the internet neither to that network

i use FM job_open, job_summit to create batchjob, but now i want to schedule by time accroding to user's prefer, not release it by default setting. i don't know which FM can meet this requirement, can anybody do me a favor.

give job name and class as C and click step button at the top.
there u give ur prgm name and variant.and save.
then click START condition at the top and click date and time button. there u give date and time.
and then check periodc job check box.

Re. apps - why not have a red ring around all apps connecting to the internet - so you can see which apps you can use off line ??

I was travelling in europe using both by iphone and my ipad.
My kids was using both, not knowing that they was using the internet (3G) for some games.
It would be great if you could see on the apps whether they connect to the internet or not - today you can only guess !
