If u say that the sheets are of different sizes and shapes, will the different sizes have different workcenters or in one machine all the different sizes can be produced. if all the sizes and shapes come out of the same machine, i think discrete will be the best suited(as per my knowledge) or if only the last operation of cutting is different and other operations are same, then u can go for the combination of Repetitive and discrete.

they advised to use the access sequence JIND which consists of condition tables in the order given below

Hi folks,
I found a solution in case your MATCH is still buggy...
JUST BOOT YOUR MAC HOLDING THE SHIFT KEY (until you see a progress bar).
Then in itunes disable and re-enable iTunes Match.
It should rescan all your library and eventually works.
At the end just reboot your Mac normally.

Here are a few scenarios which I have worked:
1.Steel is usually procured in the form of plates of different dimensions (length, width & thickness).
To capture this, you can activate material class (class 001) for material master.
You can create your own class and have these dimensions as characteristics.
While creating material codes, you can capture the dimensions as characteristic values..
This way, you can maintain the uniqueness of material codes in the system.
2. Steel is usually procured in bulk from various sources, both domestic and imports.
As such, the price of the same material may vary depending upon the source and also when it was procured.
Hence, it becomes a necessity to manage the different lots separately.
You can activate batch management in inventory or better still, Split valuation by batch to handle this.
3. If steel is procured for specific project, then the purchase requisition/purchase order will be for specific Project (WBS element).
   This means you will be working with a/c assign.categ "Q"
4. You can have Order unit that is different from base unit (Stock keeping unit.)
    you can maintain suitable conversion factors for the same.
5. While issuing steel to Production, the big steel plates may be cut into smaller pieces and issued.
    So, you can have a different unit of issue in material master along with conversion factors.
6. If your client is having tender system for procurement, then you can have the RFQ to handle this.
    You can have different loading factors to assign different weightages for vendors while maintaining Quotations.
     You can go for an enhancement to RFQ screen to capture extra fields relating to tender.
    You can have a Z form to output tender comparative statement as per client requirement.

Hi,
it depends mainly on yours needs.
Do you have to send data in "delta" mode, so only the changed material.
and do you send one by one ? or do you have to create only one big file.
Do you want a log ?
if you have to send changed material, the easiest way to pick-up changed material is to use change pointers, and send data by using idoc MATMAS.MATMAS05. in ale config, choose "collect idoc" and use prog RSEOUT00 that you trigger by a job.
with idoc, you have standard log: tx WE02.
if you have no to send changed material either you use Idoc, or you define an inbound service interface in PI, on which you generate an abap proxy in ECC (tx SPROXY). Then to extract data, and send them to PI, you have to create an abap program with join SQL and to call you abap proxy to send data to PI. With proxy you have a log in standard, so you have to create it also in your abap program: WRITE instruction, ALV or SAP application log (tx SLG0 / SLG1).

I agree with PhHein, it's best to learn one technology and then the other. (Just my two cents, but start with JDBC from a simple standalone application, then when that is working, try to tackle Servlets, since you will need to also learn how to get them working in a container like Tomcat).

I have three prodution versions for material with three different alternative BOM and same recipe for all three versions. All three versions are with same lot size and date validity. when i do cost running which version will be considerd by system as default? is frist version? if it is frist version what seeting is required to pick req version to consider for costing?

the system considers the first available active production version as its default costing version for a period cost.
alternatively if u want to select another version you would have to lock the other ones.
eg:
if you want the 2nd one selected than mark the 1st production version as Locked for any Usage from C223.
than the system would pick Version 2.
same is true for the 3rd one, the first two versions would have to be locked.

You can't. The last version of CS that was usable on a non-Intel machine was CS4. With the release of CS5 a year or so ago, Adobe stopped selling CS4. You will be hard pressed to find a legitimate copy of CS4. Sorry, but the sad truth is that you'll need to buy a new computer at this point.

Which video formats will work for sure in FrameMaker 11?

I have done multiple test with somewhat discouraging results now. I want to embed a small video file in a FrameMaker 11 file and have it work in pdf. But even though this features should be able to work in both FrameMaker 10 and 11, my results are poor to say the least. I have tried multiple videoformats and sometime I am in luck and the video embeds and works, but most often it does not embed or it opens somewhere else on the page than the place where it was inserted. Is there a best practice for embedding video regarding file formats, distiller settings etc. I have spent several days now trying to make this work the way it is expcted to.

When I try to download a app from my App Store which is free it asks for my bank details why?and how do I get rid of this problem?

I have a problem with my App Store whenever I try to download a free app from it a red writing pops up at the top saying "there was a billing problem with my previous purchase" therefore it won't allôw me to download and install any free app please give me some advice on how to get rid of this thanks.

Thanks Ralph, i tried that but it still didnt change the ID on the apps store. Strange thing is I tried my origional password and it worked, it seems the Apple ID ie my email address is not transfering to the app store , as when I try to download something and it requests my password when the Apple ID box opens, the ID is still missing a letter? Im at a loss as to how this happened or how to change it, but as it s working with my old password should I be worried about it? its different to anything else On apple ID , other than the one missing letter its the same email address but a different password for each one. It seems that what ever is in my Apple ID, it wont transfer to the app store Apple ID?

Suggestion for all Piano Scroll Why does it have to be linear ?

Is it possible to make the piano scroll horizontal instead of in a linear way ? Wouldn't it be better is the scroll would come from the bottom of the page then the side ? Your keyboard is in front of you not on the side ? At lest have a choice of the piano scroll being on the side or on the bottom of the screen ? When we work with logic how many times do you stop and take a look at the piano scroll and try to guess what note you have played ?
If it were horizontal wouldn't it much more practical ?
I would really like to hear what everyone has to say about this ?

I think having the option would be awesome. I get what you're saying about orienting it more like the keyboard lay out in trying to find notes - makes sense.
However, when it comes to editing with it (altering durations or start point, for example) I don't think my brain could wrap around that easily - would want it left-to-right for that.
So, yeah, having an option would be cool!
