Cisco Policy
=========
Where available, we will provide bug fixes, maintenance releases, work arounds, or patches for critical bugs reported via the TAC or Cisco.com Web site for a period of 5 years from the end-of-sale date for operating system software and for a period of 3 years from the end-of-sale date for application software. Bear in mind that it may be necessary to use a software upgrade release to correct a reported problem.
Questions
========
Which Software Train will be supported and maintaint (also vulnerability) until 5 Years after the EOS Date for the 3640 plattform as
described in the Cisco policy ?
which Train is supported for the 2600 Router plattform ?
The last supported release for the Cisco 3640 and 3640A routers is Cisco IOS Software Release 12.4 Mainline
The Cisco 3640 Router will continue to support new IOS features through 12.2T and 12.3T, and software support will be provided through 12.4M or November 2005, whichever comes first. This support will be until 2007, November.
The 3640A is identical to the 3640 in terms of physical characteristics, interface support, performance, memory and IOS feature support. All currently open mainline release trains and the 12.2T release train will be supported, starting with the latest maintenance releases: IOS Releases 12.0(24), 12.1(17), 12.2(12) and 12.2(11)T1. The Cisco 3640 and 3640A will continue to support new IOS features through 12.2T and 12.3T, and software support will be provided through 12.4M or November 2005, whichever comes first.

I need to setup 7800 Series IP Phones in the CUCM 8.6.2 which by default are not support but will work after install the software. Anyone have document from Cisco as I remember I seen once before.
Hi Ali,
I'll just add this reference to the good tips from my friend Manish (+5)
Support for the 7800 series in CUCM 8.6.2 was first added with this
Device Pack;
Cisco Unified Communications Manager
Device Package 8.6(2)(24104-1)Release Notes
Cisco Unified Communications Manager Device Package Release 8.6(2)
adds support for the Cisco IP Phones
7821, 7841, and 7861 running SIP firmware release 10.1(1).
The steps are in this doc
http://www.cisco.com/web/software/282074299/107528/cmterm-devicepack-8.6.2.24104-1_Readme.pdf
You might as well install the latest 8.6.2 Device pack
cmterm-devicepack8.6.2.24112-1.cop.sgn
Cheers!

I wanna install window 7 in MacBook pro. In that, such software like CADD,Pro-E etc will b support to MacBook pro..??
http://www.apple.com/support/bootcamp/
It is not clear what you are asking. You can install Windows 7 on Macbook Pro using Boot Camp Assistant. Follow the linked to instructions. All Windows programs will work just as they would on a Windows PC with similar specs as your Macbook Pro. -

Hello,
I tried to install new SHA2 3th-Party certificates on our WLCs. There are old WiSM1-Boards and 2504 to support our old 1230 Access Points, running 7.0.251.2, which didn't install it, although the config manual for 7.6 and 8.0 say that SHA2 certificates are supported since 7.0.250.0. When I tried to install the SHA2-certificates I get the message "File transfer failed" an the log says:
*TransferTask: Dec 12 13:22:14.394: #UPDATE-3-CERT_INST_FAIL: updcode.c:1869 Failed to install Webauth certificate. rc = 1
*TransferTask: Dec 12 13:22:14.394: #SSHPM-3-KEYED_PEM_DECODE_FAILED: sshpmcert.c:4085 Cannot PEM decode private key
I tried to install the same certificates on our WiSM2-Boards, running 7.4.121.0 and I failed too. The same certificates could be installed on a 2504 running 8.0.100 without any problems.
In all 3 cases I tried to install unchained certificates for web management and Level 3 chained certificates for web authentication. I used the following guides to get the certificates (e.g. taken from the config manual 8.0.100):
http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/wireless/4400-series-wireless-lan-controllers/109597-csr-chained-certificates-wlc-00.html
http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/wireless-mobility/wlan-security/70584-csr-wlc-00.pdf
Which software versions support SHA2 certificates and which didn't ? Is the a list for it ?
RegardsHello,
I solved the problem. First I used a Debian Linux system with Openssl 1.0.1. After I searched the internet using one of the log messages above I found sites which mentioned to use Openssl 0.9.x. So I tried a productive and security fixes Debian Linux System running Openssl 0.9.8 and I succeeded. The wlcs accepted the certificate files and used it after a reboot. The Web GUI still shows a SHA1 Fingerprint, but the certificate signature Algorithm is SHA2:
Signature Algorithm: sha256WithRSAEncryption
When you check the openssl.org homepage Openssl 0.9.8 is still one of the actual version of openssl and is still available and fixed. But the Openssl Roadmap says:
"We don't want to have to maintain too many branches. This is likely to include a timescale for the EOL of version 0.9.8"
I don't know the differences between certificates made with openssl 0.9.8 and 1.0.1. Is there anybody who can explain it to me ?

Which frame works will support for blackberry application developement.
Hi
Which frame works will support for blackberry application developement?
Thanks
Achyuthello,
I think you'll have much more answers if you post in one of the three discussion boards "Blackberry Development" :
http://supportforums.blackberry.com/rim?category.id=BlackBerryDevelopment
Anyways, RIM has a website for people who want to start developing, it's here :

The search box on top-right of this page is your true friend, and the public Knowledge Base too: -
Android OS, V4.1 (Jelly Bean), which flash player will support
i have Android OS, V4.1 (Jelly Bean), which flash player will support to my device.i intalled Flash Player for Android 4.0 latest V(11.1.115.69) to site but
when i run video on facebook to my device, its showing flash player upgrate required.Adobe stopped ALL development of Flash for Android last year.
http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/archived-flash-player-versions.html
There are older versions of Flash Player (for Android) at that link, but there are no guarantees any of them will work.

I've read a lot about "Dolphin" for Android https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=mobi.mgeek.TunnyBrowser
I'm not an Android user (no tablet or phone) so I can't make any endorsements that would hold any credibility, but most of the Flash solutions I've read point to Dolphin as the best alternative.
Check the Android forums: http://androidforums.com/ to see what their "gurus" recommend. -
Does apple have any explanations for why iCloud will not support iWeb & is there any viable solutions. iWeb is critical to my small business & we have all been trained via joint ventue on iWeb. Now it just goes away. Why?
turbodave2 wrote:
I appreciate your repsonse, but the irony is that Apple is still scheduling "One-to-One" & Joint Venture training on iWeb knowing that it all will end next June. ..
Just to add this : iWeb -- the app itself -- is still supported, updated only months ago and as part of the ilife '11 DVDs still widely spread even though it is not sold on the AppStore it is official part of iLife. It runs in Lion and there is zero issues with the app. So a training makes sense, doesn't it ?.
They would only to exclude the "publish to me.com" part to be up to date for courses and trainings :-≠ -
My iPad is operating on iOS 5.1.1 and will not support certain apps which I want to download as they say I require at least iOS 6. I have checked my updates and this says that I have the correct settings
Correct, the iPad 1 can not be upgraded beyond 5.1.1.

Which software can i use for recovery management that will allow me to use DVD's instead of Flashdsk
which software can i use for recovery management that will allow me to use DVD's instead of Flashdisk? I find DVD's easier to use. i am using windows 10
As the other posters wrote in order to take a movie file and turn it into a DVD that can be played in standard DVD players you need a DVD authoring application. That you need a separate program to create the DVD is standard procedure and has been that way since the beginning. All Apple produce that can produce video files require an external authoring program. iMovie, iPhoto and Final Cut all do this.
One other thing I will comment on is your choice of output format. You will almost certainly be disappointed with the video quality of your finished DVD if you put a HD video on a SD DVD. Unless you plan to burn a bluray disk you will get a better quality video if you output as SD if you plan to burn to an SD disk.

Tim,
We will have development-only support for MDBs in the 6.5 release which is scheduled to release this month. The full EJB 2.0 spec will be supported in the next iteration of the product which is scheduled to be released in the summer. -
will iMac support tally
If you mean http://www.tallysolutions.com/ this is Windows only. You would have to run Windows in a separate partition using Boot Camp, or under emulation using Parallels, in order to run it. It seems doubtful that given this it could support iCloud. In any case the people to consult are Tally themselves.
