  • You keep sending an update but it cannot download. our e-mail account was compromised while using firefox.

an update announcement is sent, we accept and it never loads from your end.
we also had an e-mail account compromised while using firefox.
I just updated adobe flash and it worked for safari but not firefox. why so many issues??

    Hi David,
Thank you for your detailed question. It sounds like the real issue is pdf files. Are there any antivirus/firewalls that might be blocking this specific file type? or are there any preferences in your control panel that might be blocking this?
Do you have any stored preferences for PDF files in Firefox?

    Hi,
A Code 10 error is generated in Device Manager in one of the following situations:
Device Manager can't start the device.
One of the drivers that the device needs does not start.
Device Manager has insufficient information to recognize the error that is bubbled up by the device driver.
Note In this situation, the Code 10 error can be a very generic message that indicates some kind of unspecified driver or device problem.
For more information regarding Code 10 errors, please see:
Fix: "This device cannot start" Code 10 error in Device Manager in Windows
Please try to update the device drivers with the error code 10. More troubleshooting steps please refer to the KB article.

  • I can't delete movies from my netflix queue while using Firefox v9.0.1 but can with other browsers.

Using Windows Vista Home Premium 32 bit; Firefox v9.0.1; website affected Netflix
I can't effect complete deletion of movies from my netflix.com streaming queue while using Firefox (v9.0.1). I contacted Netflix by phone and we checked my browser settings, ensuring they were where they needed to be. They suggested trying to effect the same using other browsers and I had no problem with Chrome allowing me to make a complete and effective deletion. My plugins are all up-to-date and any incompatible ones have been disabled. My problem has been an ongoing thing for months and I wanted to let Mozilla know it exists. If anyone else has been having this problem, please notify Mozilla so they realize it's not just an isolated incident and (hopefully) will look into finding the problem and fixing it.

Addendum: The .jpg file, below, shows the netflix popup I get when trying to delete a video.

When using Firefox I cannot obtain Gmail in Standard View, only in HTML. It's OK in Chrome.
How do I correct this? Firefox is my default browser.

That is usually an indication that some JavaScript aren't working properly on the Gmail site.

While using Firefox, a window will start popping up asking me to type in my Kerberos password.'''bold text'''

I have the same setup, and the same issue. I've gotten to the point where I don't use Firefox for anything anymore if I can help it, because I can't get rid of the popup. Clicking "Cancel" will only stop it for a while, but it'll eventually come back.
It's happening to my coworker as well, also on the same setup. Both of our issues started on the same day, maybe 3 weeks ago?

i am unable to print anything while using firefox as my browser !

    Hi Philip,
This could be an issue with some corrupt print preferences. In your toolbar go to about:config and reset all of your print.preferences. This could hopefully help!

When using Firefox I cannot signin to sites, but can get to sites with tabs on toolbar but cannot signout whe signin, I have uninstalled the program and reinstalled it but still have the same problem.

That problem can be caused by the Yahoo! Toolbar that extents too much downwards and covers the top part of the browser window and thus makes links in that part of the screen not clickable.

While using my Blackberry messenger service, the message "name" is typing a message gets stuck on my screen and the application freezes up

Hi and Welcome to the Forums!
Anytime random strange behaviors creep in, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the back cover and pull out the battery. Wait about a minute then replace the battery and cover. Power up and wait patiently through the long reboot -- ~5 minutes. See if things have returned to good operation. Like all computing devices, BB's suffer from memory leaks and such...with a hard reboot being the best cure.

While using Firefox, a site popped up and said it was Firefox scanning for viruses. It then said I had dangerous viruses and should download a security program. Is this for real? The site was update32.escmce.ce.ms I googled this site and it does not exist. Now, I am worried about the security on my computer.

If you're running under Windows, I suggest you download and install Microsoft's Security Essentials. It protects against these types of attacks and tends to find stuff that other anti-virus scanners don't find. You're system could be infected because of that bogus, evil anti-virus scan. Install and run the software while in safe mode.

I recommend backing up your Firefox settings in case something goes wrong during the uninstall/reinstall process. See [https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Backing+up+your+information Backing up your information]. (You can copy your entire Firefox profile folder somewhere outside of the Mozilla folder.)
In the Control Panel, Add/Remove programs, look for '''Mozilla Firefox'''. Make sure to save (do not delete) your personal settings when uninstalling.
If it isn't there, just try installing 3.6.23, which is the latest in the 3.6 family. You can download 3.6.23 here: http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/all-older
With respect to version 7.0.1, are you saying that the installation failed, or it seemed to work but it's nowhere to be found?
