I have the zen xtra 30gb and love it except when playing it using the battery it makes a whiny hiss at the bigging of the songs and when i am scrolling or using any buttons while nothing is playing. When i use the ac adapter no noise at all. the noise is only there using the battery. My wife has the 40 gb version and does'nt have this problem. I even switched batteries with hers to see if the battery was the problem but did'nt make a difference. Do I have a defecti've unit's

i dont think that is the battery making the noise...its most likely the hard dri've. I wouldnt be too concerned about it as long as it works fine

The iphone is designed to be synced to your computer or cloud service. Your contacts should be in whatever program/service you have chosen to sync.
If you have failed to do this, then they are likely gone.

Which operating system are you using?
Some filters like Filter>Sketch>Stamp need to have two different colors for the Foreground and Background set in the toolbox.
Press the D key to set the default toolbox color swatches to Black and White and then try the Stamp filter.
If your using mac os x 10.9 or 10.10, then some of the filters under Filter>Sketch will crash pse 11
They are Filter>Sketch>Comic, Graphic Novel and Pen and Ink
Otherwise resetting the pse11 editor preferences might resolve the crashing.
Go to Photoshop Elements Editor(Edit)>General, click on Reset Preferences on Next Launch and then restart the pse 11 editor

Gestures is not working like it did before. The side to side, forward back swipe, is very picky. Sometimes it takes four or five tries before it works. And yes I know how to do it. I have had a magic trackpad for about one year. And was greatly pleased by how it worked, BEFORE Mavericks. It has has indeed changed.

I tried to sync music from iTunes to my iPhone and when I click on "on this phone" the songs are there, but they are greyed out and have a circle in front of them. I can not click on those songs and when I eject the phone they are not on the phone.

I am having the same problem. I have just tried this. Unplug iphone > open itunes > delete all music from itunes library > close itunes > re-open itunes > add music from original folder > plug in iphone > select songs > press sync > unplug iphone using eject button onscreen > checked phone .... still nothing in music folder on phone. On itunes the "On this iphone" tab the songs remain there but greyed out.

I am using a Microsoft Natural keyboard and when i use the close button on Ver. 5.0 or newer it closes the whole screen not just the active tab is there a fix for this

Could you try disabling graphics hardware acceleration? (I'm having trouble determining from your "More system information" whether it's enabled or disabled.) Since this feature was added to Firefox, it has gradually improved, but there still are a few glitches.
You usually need to restart Firefox in order for this to take effect, so save all work first (e.g., mail you are composing, online documents you're editing, etc.).

Back up your music and install from the website. You probably won't need to do this, but if your library is erased, restore it from the backup.

Same problem here, and but only on my laptop... I tried to add an mp4 file to itunes on there and it wouldn't work, moved the same exact file to my desktop and it worked fine. Both computers are using windows 7.

I use Firefox and Windows 7, when I'm using my main account on computer it starts old version of firefox and when I use the guest account it start the new version. Why and how to fix it?

Guy that repairs my computer asked me if i saved new firefox just on guest account, but i didn't, i re-installed it again and again.

Apparently it's related to the Firefox plug in.
This isn't exactly a solution but more of a way to avoid opening PDFs with Firefox's plug in.
1. Highlight "Tools" from the Menu Bar in the top left of the screen (or click "Options" if using the Firefox Compact Menu)
2. Select to "Options
3. Select "Applications"
4. Look for "Adobe Acrobat Document" under Content Type and to the right under Action select "Use Adobe Reader (default)" instead of the using Adobe Acrobat in Firefox
5. Open a test PDF. It should open in it's own window now.
Again, not a complete solution but something that'll at least let you scroll with PDFs open.

as far as I know, at least; because the keyboard shortcut doesn't even work on the full sized player.
