Who took a pee on Foxfire Start page; how get rid of yellow color?

Yellow background color on start page appeared suddenly a few days ago. Want to return to white screen. How?

I'm not using the about:home page, but I see this yellow color as well when inspecting the page.
It is caused by this CSS rule:

You can see that if you right-click on the page and open the Inspector.

Perhaps let's first try updating your Apple Software Update.
Launch Apple Software Update ("Start > All Programs > Apple Software Update"). Does it launch and offer you a newer version of Apple Software Update? If so, choose to install just that update to Apple Software Update. (Deselect any other software offered at the same time.)
If the ASU update goes through okay, try another iTunes install. Does it go through without the errors this time?

My computer was taken over by a bunch of pups I opened, and I removed them, but lost the search bar on my Mozilla start page, how do I retrieve it?

Can't seem to retrieve the search bar that should be located beside the address bar. Tried for several hours, but can't seem to find the right information. I don't want to reset Firefox because I have too many customs set. I used options and put the find symbol, but it wouldn't open, so still need the search bar to fill in specific words for search feature.

You can try to click the "Restore Defaults" button in the Customize palette.
Make sure that toolbars like the "Bookmarks Toolbar" are visible.

*Right-click empty toolbar area
Open the Customize window and set which toolbar items to display.

After I have finished at a site and want to go back to the start page the "go back arrow" does not show the start page how can I fix this

I am using Fire fox 3.6.15 which was updated on the March 6th.
The Start Page will open and allow me to go to any site but when I want to return to the Start Page via the 'go back arrow' the Start Page is not listed.
I am wondering if it is part of the new upgrade.

It's actually not hard to fix. I had the same problem on my Bold 9700. You need to go to the main desktop on your Blackberry, and find the Messages icon (it looks like an envelope - same-looking icon as your email icon). Click on it, then scroll thru the messages. You'll find a message with same annoying little yellow circle icon, and the URL of the web site you tried to access when your Blackberry powered down. Click on the URL, and let your Blackberry load that web site. Voila! After that, the Browser Notification Icon will have disappeared.
I wish that future versions of the Blackberry OS will alow you to click directly on the notification icon and get taken to the relevant app (as happens in Windows). As is stands, the notification icons are more annoying than useful.

I have loaded FF twice, and on the START PAGE I get small arrows superimposed over the word "WEB". It looks like a mistake.

Opening in the sidebar is the default for bookmarks that are created via a link or button on a website. 
You can check the Properties of a bookmark via the right-click context menu in the sidebar (Ctrl+B; Cmd+B on Mac). 
In the Bookmarks Manager (Bookmarks > Show All Bookmarks) you can click the More button in the Details pane at the bottom right. 
Make sure that "Load this bookmark in the sidebar" is not selected.
Does it help if you open other content like the bookmarks (Ctrl+B) in the sidebar and close the sidebar via the close X?

I updatedn firefox and it put a yahoo tool bar on my start page how do i get rid of it. i do not see anywhere to delete or uninstall the yahoo toolbar

i was in firefox doing something and i got a message stating that i needed to update firefox to 28 so l clicked and installed it. well it also installed a freaking yahoo annoying tool bar that i cannot delete. its not in my installed programs so i cannot delete from there. i tried right clicking on an empty space on the tool bar to see if i could get rid of it there and i cannot. can someone tell me how to get rid of it. or tell me how to go back to my previous version for firefox if that will get rid of it. otherwise i just might uninstalled firefox and then reinstall

hello, please go to ''firefox > addons > extensions'' & remove any suspicious entries (toolbars, things that you have not installed intentionally, don't know what purpose they serve, etc).
 also go to the windows control panel / programs and remove all toolbars or potentially unwanted software from there.
 finally, run a full scan of your system with different security tools like the [http://www.malwarebytes.org/products/malwarebytes_free free version of malwarebytes] & [http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/adwcleaner/ adwcleaner].

Can I avoid closing Firefox entirely when "red Xing" a page to get rid of it?

I'm new to Firefox so bear with me......Whenever I use the red x at the top right-hand corner to get rid of a page that doesn't allow me to go back one page, I get a message from Firefox - "Do you want to close all 4 tabs?"......the only answer is "yes". When I click on "yes", I lose the whole Firefox website and have to open it again to continue. This is very annoying. Can you tell me what I'm doing wrong? Thank you.

Tested on Firefox 25 the latest version it give me the warning of closing multiple tabs with the option of cancelation.

In earlier versions of Safari, the user could select the color used to display links that have already been visited. I can't find that option in Preferences anymore. Some visited links do show a different color, some don't. Is it just random? How do I set the color in Safari 4.0.4 and activate the behavior?

In cells, the wrap feature apply to text, not to numbers. So, if the number is too big for thr cell width you will get the + symbol.
It's your duty to define cell width so that numbers may be displayed correctly.
They may be displayed the current way as far as they use no more than 11 digits.
After, Numbers uses the scientific notation.

My foxfire start page does not have my yahoo mail tab on top of page

On my older version of Firefox I had a mail tab in the upper part of the Firefox page, when I highlighted this icon it went to my yahoo mail. I no longer have this icon, instead I have a lot of MSN tabs. Fox Sports, Latest Headlines. Which is the default tabs I believe. When I first opened my Yahoo mail I got a dialog box stating this was an insecure site! I said go ahead any way as I have been using Yahoo Mail for years!

That is an old Firefox home page that Google doesn't maintain anymore.
You can set the home page to about:home or leave the setting in the Options window empty to get the new Firefox home page.

Why is the tab title "Mozilla Firefox Start Page" or whichever tab I am on duplicated on a separate line at the top of my Mozilla Foxfire start page?

In the examples I have looked at in FAQ there is an orange box up at the top of the screen when Mozilla Foxfire opens; mine has the name of whichever tab I am on, including having the tab. I like the tabs. The duplicate name at the top looks like a status bar and covers up part of my chosen design.

I have one solution - when i redirect in faces-config.xml to the same page then POSTDATA is clear, BUT i loose all my FacesMessages related to this page.

Page Display - Get rid of alphabetical order???

Is there any way to organize your pages the way you want within a page group? The reason for my question is that when I build a menu using the DHTML menu builder provided by Ronaldo Viscuso, it grabs the pages straight from the page group, which is always going to be alphabetical. For my purposes, I'd like to order pages by importance.
Is there any way to do this??
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

I haven't looked at the DHTML Portlet, but here's one suggestion....
The Table wwsbr_sites$ in the PORTAL Schema stores information about the PageGroups. If you can "tweak" the Portlet code, perhaps you can order the names of the Page Groups in your own fashoin :-
