Why 0FISCVARNT is not shown in Query Analyzer?

I have a cube, when I look at its dimensions from RSA1->Info provider under Time Dimension,
I see Fiscal Year, Fiscal year Variant and Fiscal Year Period.
But when I go to Query Analyzer and develop a query on it, under Dimensions Fiscal Year Variant is missing, why?

Hi,
Are you creating query on info cube or multiprovider? Have you included info cube in multiprovider and identified the fiscal year variant in the multiprovider or not? If you are creating query directly on Info cube it is not possible that you won't see it.
Please check if you are creating queriy on proper info provider.

All master data values not shown in query selections

I have created a query on a BasisCube containing the InfoObject 0FUNC_AREA. I loaded data to 0FUNC_AREA and the cube.
I then created a query on the cube, in which I want to filter on 0FUNC_AREA. However, when I get the list of available values for 0FUNC_AREA not all the values in the master data is shown. It only shows 25 values out of 105.
As a default, the data shown is only the cube data, so I removed the tick in the checkbox: Show only InfoCube data. Still the same.
Then I went to the InfoObject and set the 'Query Def. Filter Value Selection' and 'Query Execution Filter Val. Selectn' equal to 'Values in Master Data'. Still the same.
Then I deleted the contents of the InfoCube. It still shows the original 25 values.
The really strange thing is, that when I go into the selection screen for 0FUNC_AREA in the BEx and limit the shown values to one of the values available in the master data but not shown in the list, it shows the text of the functional area in the limit summary window. But still when executing the limitation, it cannot find the value!!!
The problem is the same in LISTCUBE
I hope some of you can help we with this.

Hi Hari
1) Reactivated the master data, said it was already active.
2) Could see a difference between the data contained in cube and the remaining data. Otherwise not.
I deleted cube and master data and reloaded, the problem still persists. I am beginning to suspect a bug in BW.
I have to determine whether I am going to live with it (as it isn't critical, just a nuisance) or create an OSS on it.

Navigational Attributes are not shown in query

Dear all,
I have a problem in a query. I need to present values using by using Navigational attribute in the query, the thing is that it does not recognize my navigational attribute. I have checked the characteristic in the Multiprovider and Infocube as navigational. And in the Multiprovider I have identified the navigational attribute from the right source.
What I think is strange is that I can see the navigational attribute when I see the data in infocube but not in the query. Does anyone knows what I might be doing wrong?

plese try to find out the data for this fields through LISTCUBE,if you gets data here for that navigation attr then it has to appear in your query designer also.
and also once again check your idetification for the navigation attr in multi provider whether its taken from write souce or not.and plese chk through your cube also for the navigatin.
in cube navigational attr has to mark then in the same way in the multi provider also

Why "Podcasts" is not shown in iTune Library as an item?

Lately when I did my usual iTune podcasts synching, I found "Podcasts" as an item in the Library on the up left panel is not there any more. Anybody know why and how to fix this problem? Thanks for help.

In iTunes, head to Edit -> Preferences. Then from under the General tab, make sure there is a tick mark next to Podcasts and any other items you want to appear in the left hand side bar of iTunes.

Why Images are not shown?

Hi How are all here ?I am using Crystal Reports in Visual Studio.net 2005. Now the problem is that Images are not loading in the web broweser. At runtime in visual studio.net 2005, the Images of Crystal Report Viewer are shown but the Image we insert in the picture box of Crystal Report, it does not show. But in the web browser after uploading web site using URL, it does not show images of Both i.e. CrystalReportViewer and Picture Box. What the problem is that? This has made me annoyed a lot. Anybody can help me please.

I had this problem (if I understand you correctly) and the problem was that the new Crystal Report Viewer toolbar was expecting the images to be in teh same folder as the website, but they are actually located one level up in C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\aspnet_client\system_web\2_0_50727\CrystalReportWebFormViewer3 (or CrystalReportWebFormViewer4 if you're on VS2008).
To fix this, I copied the aspnet_client folder into the folder of my website, and everything is fine.

Hi Go to iTunes bottom of page Sign out of itunes then Sign back in. This may help If not try a Reset press & hold power button & menu button hold both down until you see Apple Logo you will not lose any data. Cheers Brian

Why fields are not shown in list form ?

I have performed below steps to create list programmatically in my project :
Programmatically created content types having columns named – Contact Email,Contact Person,Location,Type and Postion.
I manually created list named test and attached above content type.
Issue: Content type has been created and attached to the list named
test.I added columns from content type to list via modify view.
However when I click on Add new item, I am unable to see the content type fields in the form.
I can see only inbuilt Title field in list form while above fields are not there.
Any idea what can be the possible reason for this and how to resolve it?

HT1977 Why are Apps not shown in left hand panel in itunes when my ipad or iphone is synced

I recovered my hard drive from backup in windows vista and reinstalled itunes. When I sync my ipad of iphone and select apps, the screen layout is shown in the right hand panel but the apps do no show up in the left panel. Before the recovery operation the apps were found in the left panel categorised as iphone and ipad.
Now I cannot temprarily delete apps in case they are permanently deleted.

I have now downloaded all my purchases from iPad into my 13" MacBook Air and its taken nearly 2G of disk space (which on the wee Air is a big problem !). I guess its transferred lots of files but apps like Adobe Draw and Sketch which I suspect have some big files do not show up down the page under the App > Files section in iTunes and many other apps are missing from here.
How can I find and delete all the files that have been sucked into my MB Air after restoring purchases. I have not chosen to backup my iPad to the Air, but who knows what iTunes has decided to do

Why are percentages not shown in my chart?

I've made a table with data in percentage. However, when I make a column-chart, the data on the y-axis is shown in numbers (eg 0,31) instead of a percentage (31%). How can I change this?
I tried to change this, but I can't edit when I go to 'axis' and then to 'y-axis'. The choice for 'percentage' has got a 'v' in front of it, but it is marked grey and I can't edit this.

To upload an image - you can either use the excellent progam Skitch http://skitch.com/ which enables ou to take a snapshot, upload it to the web and then enter the URL which will show up as a picture in your post.
Alternatively, you can take a snapshot by using Command Shift 4. You would then need to upload the picture to somewhere on the web - Flickr, Picasa or similar and then mke a link from there. Personally I think Skitch is much better because, having taken the shot, you san then annotate with text and arrows to explain a problem.
You will need to download Skitch - but easy to do - and it's free!

Why is time not shown in UWL for items?

In the task tab of UWL,an attribute named "Sent Date" shows the sent date of items.But if I receive more tasks in one day,it is necessary to show the time too.I found the tooltip of "Sent Date" contained time.Now I want to show it in "Sent Date" or another customized attribute,how?

Why is the 9860 not shown on UK site? am I buying a dud?

The daughter wants to upgrade from her 9300. Shes decided she wants a tocuh phone back, so looked at options. 9380 (too small screen), 9810 (maybe, but bulky), and the 9860.
However I'm in UK and the 9860 isnt even listed on the smartphone list of phones. Am I buying a dud here? is it not supported anymore? why is it not shown, was it that bad?
I will have to buy this SIM free or PAYG, as shes mid contract.
