after I transform files from my pc to Ipad2, I can't play the games on ipad which downloaded before. Can anyone help me to solve this problem?
I was trying to open the games in ipad, but, it just shine, can't open. And the ebooks same.

That is disgraceful. I would have thought that if it is password protected then you should be able to access your own files, if they are still recoverable in any way that you wish. The cost of professional data recovery is prohibitive and although I have had near disasters in the past, all due to external drives, I have always been able to recover deleted files, even from discs that had had a quick erase.

I get an error message saying that this app can't run on my pc and that I need to find a version that will work through my administrator.
That suggests that the installer is getting damaged during the download.
I'd first try downloading an installer from the Apple website using a different web browser:

If you use Firefox instead of IE for the download (or vice versa), do you get a working installer? -

Try the standard fixes:
- Reset. Nothing is lost
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Restore from backup

My apps don't work after synching music files from my PC through Itunes....though all the apps are shown in the Apps window in Itunes (The Apps match the iTunes account on the iPhone).....
Disconnecting after the sync and After downloading any app from Appstore through Wi-Fi all my apps start working.....
Please Help.....What happend is your phone forgot it was authorized to work with items associated with your apple id. If it happens again, download any free app to prompt the sign in, once you install the free app the others should work.

After migrating my files from an HP to my MacBook, how do I combine the accounts in which my transferred files is under?
Well that is just it. You should not have more then one account unless you created a second user on the Mac.
If after the transfer from the HP you ended up with 2 user accounts that is because the system you used to do the transfer created the second user to match the username from the HP. There is no good, or any, way to combine 2 user accounts and if you copy files over the permissions may not get set correctly.
Migrations assistant strike again.
You might be better off starting from scratch, Over. IMHO. -
Publish Error after copying domain file from one mac to another
Hello there,
so here is the problem: I have had iweb installed on a MBP, and a website up and running. Now that I just bought an iMac I wanted to transfer all the iWeb over to the iMac and make it the main machine. I was doing all the transfer work manually rather than using the migration assistant or time machine.
I have copied the domain file in the iWeb directory over to the iMac. iWeb starts and displays all the pages and sites normally, but when I try to publish I get the " Publish Error. An unknown error occurred" message.
On the MBP everything was/is working normally.
I have tried to copy the same file again, no change. I have deleted the preference file, no change.
I have tried publishing to a local folder, and get the same error message.
Does anybody have an idea how to get this fixed? I browsed through the discussions here but couldn't find anything regarding this specific issue.

graniWelcome to the Apple Discussions. Try the following:
1 - delete the iWeb preference file, com.apple.iWeb.plist, that resides in your User/Library/Preferences folder.
2 - go to your User/Library/Caches/com.apple.iWeb folder and delete the contents.
3 - reboot.
4 - launch iWeb and try to publish.
If that doesn't help continue:
5 - move the domain file from your User/Library/Application Support/iWeb folder to the Desktop.
6 - launch iWeb, create a new test site and save.
7 - go to the your User/Library/Application Support/iWeb folder and delete the new domain file.
8 - move your original domain file from the Desktop to the iWeb folder.
9 - launch iWeb and try again.

Why does iTunes/iPhone 4S insist it can't find a song on my PC or my phone when it is on both? This is resulting in me being unable to use the ringtones I created from these songs, but I can still play the songs.If you have added the ringtone file correctly to iTunes, it will appear under iTunes 'Tones' library.
If you don't find Tones library in iTunes, go to iTunes menu EDIT/PRFERENCES under GENERAL tab, check the Tones Box under Library source to display Tones library in iTunes.
iTunes accepts only m4r file as ringtone and has to be less than 40secs. -

I found the answer to my question.
When you attach a device (iPhone, iPad) to your Mac, in iTunes 12 in appears as a tiny icon in the second "row" of the iTunes display. Click the icon and the familiar iTunes display for the device appears. From there, on the Summary screen, you can see the dates of the backups of the device (iCloud and backup to the computer). You can also use the button to backup to the computer. -
After migrating to a retina macbook with mountain lion I can not play windows media player files anymore. I use flip4mac pro 3.0 and quicktime 7.6.6.
The message I receive is: De bewerking kan niet worden voltooid. (OSStatus fout -50). I also have problems with zip files that can not be saved on the desktop anymore while unzipping.I actually installed Quicktime pro and Flip4Mac Pro again after I bought the Retina Macbook. Today I did it again but still get the same OSStatus error -50. I guess there is some old file that has to be removed. Flip4Mac comes with an uninstaller. Quicktime does not.
I read that his could be something with security that is why I mention the problem with the zip files as well. -
Deleted files from iTunes not showing in Trash Can

I am experiencing a problem where if I delete a track or podcast from iTunes and select the option Move to Trash, it does not show up in my Trash Can on the dock unless I open TC in Finder. Only then the TC logo on the dock shows that TC is not empty. Is this something that only I am experiencing? Any help to explain why this is and how to remedy it would be appreciated.

DeMarHcI have found that if I delete files from iTunes, I don't see paper showing in the trash indicating that something is there, but if I click the icon for the trash, the paper will suddenly appear...and opening the folder to view what's in the trash shows that the deleted song is, indeed, there.

When I upload a single file into a production in FCS, I can access all the fields in a metadata set. When I upload a batch of files into the same production in FCS, I can all access part of the fields in the metadata set. Does anyone know why this happens?

Great answer, and it led me to where to solve the problem. In the field definition screen there is a category drop down list. If you choose something other than none from the category drop down list then that field won't appear in the list of fields when you attempt to batch import a group of files.
