Performamce Alert,high memory use by Fire Fox, and High CPU Performance for plug in by Fire fox, never had this problem with the last version of Fire Fox, this has apparently is slowing down mu computer, and I was much better off with the old one

You cannot delete them but eventually they will just go away or if do a hard shutdown On you iPhone they will go away.Did you even TRY safe mode, you do have lots of addons there and they automatically update in the background.

Your AV must of had been so perfect it didn't even care to detect Yontoo which is considered as adware/spyware. -
when I go to open a page, it is very slow opening, or may not open at all........circle just goes around.....this is true for any site......mail, sites I have visited many times.......never had a problem until I upgraded to firefox4.......do I need to change firewall settings? If I do, how?
Just updated adobe, it crashes more than not......First I already have my view set to show everything so that is not the problem.
But I just tried opening "Computer" from the start button then type in profiles.ini in the address bar and hit enter. The profile manager opened with my profile listed. I selected it and hit start firefox and it opened as it should.
I closed it again and tried to open it from the shortcut in my task bar and I got the Sorry window.
But then I tried to open it from the short cut you get when you press the start button and program list and it work!
I went back to my desk top and tried the short cut on the desk top and it worked.
So I deleted the short cut on the task bar and created a new one and it worked.
I rebooted the computer and tried again and the task bar shortcut works and has the right profile.
So it seems that the problem is that the short cut was corrupted and was causing the error that caused the program to fail to open.
I had no idea a shortcut could do that. In the past I have had short cut stop working but never do what this one did.
I still have no idea where the profiles.ini is. -
Why do I keep getting a Norton AV pop up message "High CPU useage for plug in container on Firefox"?
Norton keeps giving me a lower right hand pop up comment “High CPU usage for plug in container on Firefox." Is there something I need to set to fix this? Should I be concerned? Sometimes this occurs with no other application running.
IMO, the detection threshold is set too low in that Norton app. Contact Norton support to find out how to set it higher, or how to turn it off.
Or quit using Norton. ''I hate the garbage they sell. IMO, it is good for one thing, making money for retailer's and for helping PC techs make money fixing what it does to PC's their customers bring in for repairs.''

I rented a Movie and it has been loading for 3 hours now. Internet connection is fine. Have never had a problem with this before. What's really annoying is that the 24 hour time limit is counting down even though we cant watch it. Any suggestions?
The first thing to check would be your internet download speed, you can do this at www.speedtest.net.
HD movies require a recommended speed of 6 Mbps, while SD movies require a recommended speed of 2.5 Mbps.
Additionally, your 24 hours don't start until you begin to watch the movie, you have 30 days to start watching the movie. -
I have tried all the solutions apple has offered online. I will not reset my phone to factory settings unless it is a last resort. What is Apple doing to fix this? I had my last Iphone last for more than 2 years and I hve had this one less than a year. My Wifi was greyed out and now it's on but won't connect or locate any networks (but if I keep switching it on and off it will freeze on me again). Does Apple have plans to fix this problem because I refuse to purchase a new phone?
Are there any other new solutions to try in fixing the Wifi that doesn't require freezing or heating up the phone or switching to airplane mode and resetting the network settings as well making sure it's up todate or changing the apostrophe in the phone's name? My phone has never been dropped or damaged. Everyone around the world seems to be having this problem and Apple does not seem to be making a move to fix it? I use this phone for everything and 4g will only last so long before I reach my monthly limit. I am having a problem installing IOS 7. 04 to IPad. I had no problem installing it on my iphone 5c. I have didn't have a problem with any of the other installs. I wonder if anyone else is having a problem.
Thank you very much for your quick response. It took two tries, but it worked, it through me a curve, it directed me to plug in to my computer and go to iTunes, so that is how I did it. I am not very iPad savvy, so for me , it was a challenge . It also brought the iPad back to original set up. Had to set up all apps again. Oh we'll, I appreciate your help. Thanks again.

I have windows xp and when ever I go to a program that requires your browser to use the plugincontainer.exe it locks up my computer....when I am doing a simple search I don't have any problems. can I remove this file and still not have a problem with the browser?

When using Connection Doctor to see what is could be causing the issue, look for the red dots to let you know what is wrong. Then all you have to do is correct that information. You can double click on the section that is giving you issue and it will take you there. Most issues could be just password being entered incorrectly.
