Why am I getting so many popups

So every time I click on something on my web browser a new window opens with a random add. Then I have been getting tons of pop ups and my blocker is already enabled. Has anyone experienced this if so how do I fix it if I don't qualify for apple care or it has expired?

You may have inadvertently installed adware. Eradicating it is simple and you don't have to download or install anything to fix it. For an explanation or how this may have occurred, how to avoid it in the future, and for one possible solution read How to install adware.

Why am I getting so many runtime errors? (IO handling)

Here is what I am trying to do. The user of my GUI types a name in a text field an then presses a button. Then a file is created with that name, and with whatever he typed in the text field in it. Note: the extension is not typed!
But for some reason I get so many runtime errors in the prompt. I would list them except I can't see them all. Here is the important part of my code. Add is the button the user presses to add the file name; and it is located in the an actionEvent method. Here is the cod:

Why do we get so many vi's when using "DAQmx Create Virtual Channel.vi"?

Hi there,
Could anyone explain me why we get hundreds of sub-vi's when I use the
vi "DAQmx Create Virtual Channel"? This can easily be seen by exploring
the hierarchy of Labview examples such as "Acq&Graph Voltage - Ext
Clk.vi"???
This multitude of vi's considerably slows down my computer, especially at loading. Is there any way to get rid off that???

Hi,
the easier you have to program, more subVI´s needed for your kind of application. Because the VI´s from DAQmx are polymorph, so many SubVI´s are included in the VI´s. In traditional DAQ you have several palettes for each kind of measuement method. Analog In, Analog Out, Digital, Counter, ...! In DAQmx you have one VI and that can all.
But, the performance of you application at runtime is not affected. Of course it takes some time to load, but just at development environment not as an application.

HT1338 Why do I get so many "time out" connection problems?

I keep getting "time out" connection problems when I am on computer. I am also experiencing a lot of "spinning wheeling" issues. Are they related?

Why am I getting so many calendar reminders?

At each national holiday I get many, many reminders as shown in the attachment. This has started since downloading the maverick update. This month already election day & veteran's day. How do I stop this from happening?

I am on Yosemite and I have this option. If you are on an older version, it may be in a different location. See my various Holiday's, I ignored their alerts and just kept one on.

Why do I get so many Calendar alerts for US holiday events?

All of a sudden for US holidays I get dozens and dozens of the alerts the day before reminding me of them. This does not happen for calendar entries that I have made.This just started this week with Lincoln's birthday and again repeated for Valentine's Day tomorrow. Any suggestions?

Will you help me with troubleshooting why my applications are not loading and why I'm getting so many fork failures?

I have an iMac, 2.5Ghz i5, 12GB RAM, OSX 10.8.4. Things were working fine, but recently I had to install Java (I had to avert my eyes) because it was needed to use a certain web site. This seemed to be the beginning of my problems, but they were easily fixed by repairing permissions. I typically leave my iMac running until recently I noticed applications weren't loading, but by repairing permissions everything seemed to return to normal.
Then I had to use tech support from another company for a diffferent issue. The techy used GoToAssist Customer so he could access my desktop remotely. The problems began to show up more often. Lots of fork failures and spinning beach balls, and applications weren't launching. Consequently, I logged into a guest account to see if the problems existed in that account - and they didn't, everything worked fine, like a new machine. I have repaired permissions until I'm blue in the face - I even resorted to using Onyx, but that didn't help.
I have since removed Java (I wonder if I should remove GoToAssist), but the problems seem to be getting worse (not better). Before I resort to performing a clean re-install of Mountail Lion (and the headaches that it causes) I thought I would reach out to the community to see if anyone has any suggestions. I have got to do something fairly quickly, I need my machine working tomorrow. I wil be so grateful if you can help me. Luckily, I have ML on a thumb drive so a clean install won't take so long, but I also use Windows 7 with Parallels, which makes it a pretty major hassle. Does anyone have any suggestions?

You can try these steps in case of issues with web pages:
Reload web page(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.
*Hold down the Shift key and left-click the Reload button
*Press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
*Press "Command + Shift + R" (Mac)
Clear the cache and cookies only from websites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
*Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
*Firefox/Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

Why do i get so many broken HP's in my pc shop?

wow! im not even referring to nvidia "no video" issues.
just wierd how every HP has different, major, errors. all relativly new pc's too.
designed to fail? i think so.
i always suggest people not buy HP...
i have a stack of DV4's that wont charge,
dv'5s that wont boot.
compaq cq-61's that wont turn on, show no signs of life.
cq-62's with batteries(bios) falling out of the holder
dv 9x00's with issues. no sound, webcam problems.
and all the early dieing batteries.... ive seen toshibas with 5 year old batteries last longet then new HP stuff.
im sorry for you suckers who bought HP/compaq.

Keep in mind HP sells more consumer PCs than anyone else so statistically you would expect to see more on the scrap heap. I also help out in a PC repair shop and have noticed we see a lot of HPs with issues, but we also see Dells and Acers, too. Not so much Lenovos and Toshibas and Asuses. Keep in mind all laptops are made at just a couple different factories. I do not see a big difference in the components that are used in them but I notice some are much easier to work on than others. HPs tend to be real hard to get apart and work on....there is a lot of stuff crammed in a small space. Lenovo and Dell seem to think about the technicians more. Toshbas are also pretty complex inside, generally.

- If yes, check with support for your car. Maybe the radio cannot rexognize the iPhone anymore.
- If no, check your pc for free space.
I don't work with W8, maybe it denies iTunes the ability to write files.
Think there has to be made some libary file for the files that are on your phone.
Maybe you are able to download some files you bought in the store to your phone directly. Could try again in your car then.
If you never bought a file, there is a free weekly song every week.
Only have to fill out you membership details.

I have the pop up setting to block pop ups, but I still have so many popups. Is there a way to stop popups?

Do a malware check with some malware scanning programs on the Windows computer. 
Please scan with all programs because each program detects different malware. 
All these programs have free versions.
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.

Why Customer get too many "Connection reset by peer"

I have CSS 11503 V7.50 without SSL Module.
I have 4 real servers and LB method is Round Robin. Customer tests the methods by using two way.
First A requestor try to connect service via VIP address.Second requestor try to connect to real servers by using directly real server IP address (Bypass Load balacer)
Customer cheks the real server logs and sees that in first experiment (via VIP) there too many "connection reset by peer" messages. For second experiment there are few same messages.
I wonder why real servers get this messages. Plus, why CSS reset flows. I know flow timeout does that. But if there are too many idle flows, it says something wrong?

There is a command, but I was more thinking about the server side counter or log info.

Why do I get "Podcast Authorization Required" popup box?

Since recently applying the latest update to iTunes to version 11.2.2.3, I now get the following message in a popup box whenever I manually update my podcast list:
Podcast Authorization Required
To access this podcast, you need
to log in to www.mevio.com
It wants a login and password to be entered. Hitting "cancel" makes it go away, but it'll pop up again sporadically as iTunes updates my podcasts. Any ideas on how to stop this from happening?
Another issue (possibly related to the above issue) is that iTunes constantly freezes/"not responding" when I manually update my podcasts. Both of these issues have occurred regularly since I applied the latest iTunes updates. Am I the only one who still hasn't learned not to trust any iTunes update from Apple?

Do you have an add-on called '''Ghostery '''installed? I tried it once myself and if you don't disable certain options, you get those purple popups appearing as can be seen in your screenshot. Go to Tools | Add-ons | Extensions to remove it.
If you can't find it, try running Firefox in [[Safe Mode]]. If it works correctly in that configuration, then one of your other add-ons is the culprit.
