Why am I having money taken from my account and I do not know what it is for?

Why do I keep having money deducted from my account?? I do not download apps tha u have to pay for I only download them that are free? I do not know we're the money is going what can I do about it

    I would say let him fess up and give him a chance to mend his ways, but there is at least one app that goes for $900 (according to another poster's request for a refund).  You may end up $1000+ deeper gone.
    Change the account number which will close the current links and freeze/prevent charges under the old number.  As I understand it Apple gets grumpy when charges get rejected, and you need to jump through hoops to get a payment method reattached.
    Yes this is a grumpy answer.

    Have you added or changed your credit card details on your iTunes account ? If you have then each time that you do so a small temporary store holding charge may be applied to check that the card details are correct and valid and that it's registered to exactly the same name and address as on your iTunes account - it should disappear off your account within a few days or so.

    Hi , can anyone please help me ...
    I was notified by Skype that that an order had been placed on my account for 100 euros on 2nd Feb , I received a follow up email stating that because of suspicious activity my account was suspended ( Which to me suggests that Skype are aware that this money was taken fraudulently ( which is the case )  I had another email from Skype to say that someone had been removed from my account management ( I assume the fraudster ) 
    After many emails and repeating myself frequently , Skype agreed a chargeback back .
    They are now saying there is no evidence of the charge on my account ?? ! Admitedly there isn't now , but there was , I had notifications regarding the order AND the chargeback when I digned in , but they have vanished ) 
    However I do have evidence that 100 euro's was taken from my paypal , by Skype on the 2nd of Feb .
    Everytime I try to get an answer , I get the same old template response ... It's driving me to distraction. All I want is for ONE person to follow the email trail and help me resolve this ... Can anyone tell me if there is anyway of getting a senior operative to look at this ? Rather than a string of different people as has been the case .

    I trust, by now, as a proactive measure, you have changed all account passwords immediately if you have not already done so.
    Please see this FAQ article as it relates to sending proof of purchase (fraudulent or not!) to Skype.  You will need to show that the fraudulent purchase was credited to your Skype account, otherwise Skype may send you to file your report with PayPal.  https://support.skype.com/en/faq/FA11016/how-do-i-send-proof-of-payment-to-skype-customer-service?

    We are fellow users here on these public forums, you're not talking to iTunes Support nor Apple - I've asked the hosts to remove your phone number from your post (it's not a good idea to post personal info).

  • HT201303 Today I received a fake iTunes receipt for $699.99. There was no money paid from my account - and no live links in the email. So this was a failed scam. Hopefully Apple is doing something about this?

    Even though the links didn't send me to another site (as some have reported), and no money was taken from my acount, this is too close for comfort. Apple, please take action against this (apparently Rusian - at least that's where the links lead) invasion.

    I had about $14 in redeemed iTunes gift card money, so I decided to purchase a movie for about $12/$13. It took me through some pop-up windows about whether I really wanted to purchase said movie (things I had experienced before). Finally, it was finished, and my account had $0.50 left. However, when I went to my account it displayed my most recent purchase as the 7th of Feburary 2014. It's May 18th 2014. And it doesn't show any movies in my iTunes library, nor in the area where it stores purchases that you still need to download. So I'm out 12 or so dollars, with no movie to show for it.
