Why Apple don't fix half year serious problem with HD3000 drivers, Lion and Adobe products? Doesn't Apple really care about advanced users?
I have Mac mini and Macbook Pro 13". Bouth with HD3000. And I can't work at all. With Snow Lepard I had no problems. It's tiny problem in code. And such pain for lots of users!

If you have a problem with Adobe products, voice your issues with them.
It is the software developers responsibility to maintain compatability
with any operating system, beit OSX or Windows.

I upgraded my mid 2010 15" MBP to Mountain Lion 2 days ago, and I have some serious problems with my machine now.
- Wifi problem: like many members 's machines, mine has problem to connect to the wifi after sleep or restarting, I had to wait 10 to 15 minutes for it to connected to my home network. Anh I tried to remove all of my settings in System Preferences/Network and added new connection. And now it cant connect to wifi anymore. I'm writing this article while sitting on the floor with my Ethernet cable plugged in my MBP. I connected to internet through a DSL modem and a Airport Extreme as a bridge and Access Point. I also tried to set up all of my network device but my MBP can't connect to the wifi still.
- Keyboard problem with Pages: I was very happy with the new iCloud syncing for Pages documents but after 5 minutes, I met a big problem with Mountain Lion. Whenever I type in Pages with Vietnames Keyboard( Mac OS X built in or from another developer: http://www.trankynam.com/gotv/ ), Pages stops working immediately. I can still drag the Pages's window around but can't type or do any editing. After that I have to force quit pages. It is really stupid that I'm writing a book in Pages and now I have to stop my working till apple fixes this ridiculous bug. I tried German Keyboard as well and Pages worked flawlessly. Do you hate Vietnamese, Apple?
- Messages problem: Since upgrading to Mountain Lion I couln't send or receive any messages. It worked perfectly in Messages beta.
Does anyone have the same problems like me? Any solution such as how to reinstall Messages(I googled but found nothing)
Apple, please test your software more before release it. I feel like I have no computer at the moment because I can't work, can't surfing the web wirelessly and can't communicate with my friends.

I found out that the problem with my wifi was my MBP received automatically a ridiculous IP such as 169.254.170.0 instead of 192.168.1.4 as it should be.
WIll be part of the Issue as will be DNS issues.
mDNSresponder crashed with Handsoff! v1.5.3. After upgrading Handsoff! to v2.0.2, it works again.
In this case mDNSresponder also being stopped will stop DNS working.
I would guess if you have resolved these that you can Chat to people again.

Serious problem with xorg - keyboard and mouse locks all the time.

In the last week I've notices serious problems with xorg.
After some event, I am not sure which one, keyboard stops responding.
Mouse cursor works, but I can't click on anything.
I can't switch to text console.
But I can kill xorg with CTRL+ALT+BACKSPACE.
Have you noticed something similiar?
I use xfce4, [testing] repository.

I had that a few days ago, couldn't reproduce it. I was also running xfce4. I havn't had it today and im running xfdesktop+xfce-mcs-manager+pekwm+xfce4-panel... so it may have been xfwm4.

Why won't Apple fix the wifi connectivity problem with the iMac and new OS instead of just havin us go through hours of useless mock fixes!

I have spent hours with apple care about this problem with wifi connectivity. According to all the posts I'm not alone. I love my new IMAC
but i'll be glad to go back to my PC just so I can get my email without all the headaches. It seems that Apple has lost interest in
the IMAC and all of the problems associated with the new OS.

Keep in mind that ASC is where people go to get help, so yes, you are seeing reports of people who are having WiFi connection issues. But while it might seem like there are lots of people having trouble, given the sheer number of iMacs in use, it is a very small number. Also keep in mind that WiFi isn't totally under Apple's control. There are dozens of WiFi routers. Even worse, the manufacturers of WiFi routers often release firmware upgrades to fix flaws without ever informing the consumer. And just to add to the confusion, while WiFi 801.2 n routers have been sold for several years, for most of that time there was no agreed upon standard!
So if you'd like help, first, what router do you have and have you checked the vendor site to see that it has the latest firmware?

Serious problem with base station and/or computer internet connection

Hi,
my powerbook does not detect my base station (another computer at home does, so the base station seems to be working) but it does detect other networks.
I have allready tried to reset the basse station (many times) but it doesen't help. Have tried to re-configure in Airport Admin Utility there is no base station (I cannot push configure) - when I push "Other" - it does not accept the base station password (have also tried "public" as they suggest in "help").
The same thing happens in Airport Setup Assistant: it does not detect my base station. It has happened before that the base station "disapears" and I could fix it now it seems to be unfixable. Can anyone out there help me???

Yes, thats correct
Then you should be able to access the base station two ways, from the Mac via ethernet or from the pc. I am assuming that your "pc at home" is a pc running windows (if the 2nd computer is also a Mac it would be even better).
Anyway, you can administer the base station from the dark side, you may want to check out the following:

If you haven't upgraded your pc to XP Service Pack 2.
As far as running the admin utility from the Mac, connect to the base via ethernet. You have indicated that you can do that and get to the internet, therefore you should be able to see the base station with the admin utility. If you are seeing your neigbor's that is wirelessly. But the wired connection Mac->Ethernet->Base-LAN-Port should allow the base to show up with a Name and an IP Adress.
Once in the admin utility for the base station (either by pc wirelessly or by Mac via ethernet) you can then make changes. You should be able to see the Base Station Name and the Airport network name. You can then change the channel: 1, 4, 7, 11 (try three apart from each other). Is your base set up to configure TCP/IP using ethernet, configure using DHCP (select the Internet tab at the top to get to this page)? On the Network tab page, is the base configured to Distribute IP addresses, Sharing a single IP address using DHCP and NAT?
As far as your Mac's System Network Preferences, you are not selected to Connect using PPoE are you? Are you set to "Automatically join an open network"? Are you configured for Using DHCP? To join a specific network (your airport network name and password)?

Serious problems with simultaneous Infinity and La...

I'm now on my third order for the one instalation. The first two were cancelled by BT because of problems their end (though not before i waited in for a half day for the instalation engineer who never called to say he wasn't coming). As a result of BT trying to take over my landline, now i don't have a working landline or broadband.
They advised me to cancel the second order, and i now find out that the result is a new instalation date 2.5 weeks away - which they say can't be brought forward! And all this without a working landline or internet broadband. They said that they could have expidited the second order, but because it was never going to work they had to cancell it. They also now tell me (after placing the third order) that because the new order is new, they can't expidite it, and all i can do is wait without any service for a further 2.5 weeks (the phone's been down 5 days already, and the internet 1 day already. Also, my current provider says that because they've raised the MAC key, they can't file a fault report, so i can't try to get the current contract working).
I really can't belive that a company could be so incredibly awful! It's quite amazing, especially when contrasted with the spiel that's on their website about the process being simple, and that they care about their customers! They've litterally told me that they CAN'T expidite my case, but last friday when order no2 was still current, they said that they could get an infinity engineer round the next day.

Every time someone has said they'll call me back, they don't. And all of them talk about them 'taking ownership' of the problem, but it's all hot air!
So as you can imagine, without a landline or internet (posting now by using the personal hotspot on my mobile) and them saying that all i can do is wait, it's making me very angry!
Now that i've written this post, i'll try to contact the mods here on the boards, and see if they can get someone onto the case - though if anyone has any ideas, i'd be really grateful for the help!

Having serious problems with Google Adsense and iWeb

Ok, I'm totally ignorant when it comes to web work. I can direct friggin' movies but this web stuff, forget it.
However, I am playing around with a video podcast and would like to try and do the website myself. But I can't seem to have any luck setting up Google's adsense on the site. I've followed the steps in the following link...

There are several problems. The code is showing, and also the positioning is off.
To exactly position where you want the ad to go, you need to position the text box of the exact same dimensions as the completed ad (or slightly larger to be on the safe side) exactly where you want it on the page.
Then type some text in the box. When you've published, you need to replace the text you've typed with the code. You obviously managed it once with the centre strip of google ads, but the top and bottom ones, it seems you've just pasted the code into the iWeb page. You can't just paste code into an iWeb page, only after publishing.
Another reason for the code showing is that you've not replaced the text properly and missed out some tags, so when the browser comes to render the page, it's treating it like text.

SERIOUS Problem with mac pro and kernel panics

Hi guys, I have a mac pro with 6 gigabytes of RAM + a RAID 0+1 system with 4 750 gigabytes HD's. ( 2 drives work in stripped mode, and the other 2 drives mirror them )
I was experiencing some frecuent kernel panics when using final cut or trying to watch DVD's a few weeks ago. I saved some error logs then and uploaded them to my e-mail. The problem is that now the frequency of the panics is so high that the computer has turned unusable, it reaches the desktop without panics, but when I click finalcut and it starts opening , it panics all the time, if I start to open folders, it panics, anything I try = panic.
Weeks ago I made the Apple Hardware test, testing the memory a lot and the memory seemed to be fine,
Could you guys help me to identify the source of this?, I am desperate because the MacPro is my Working tool. Is there a way to check the hard drives also? ( remember I have raid 0+1 )

What you mention is really interesting , maybe I could try to benchmark the card very hard to see if I get the panics there. I will try that for sure, because my RAID wasn't actually a 0+1. It's what they call a RAID 10 , ( two groups of mirrored drives, + striped )
It's like this post in macosrumors, but instead of two groups of striped disks, the big group is striped, and I got two smaller mirrored groups.

Serious problem with Front Row and the film trailers...

This problem's started only today.
I've tried to watch some trailers from front row but the iMac just crashes and the visual freezes there.

Serious problem with saving pngs and transparent bgs!

I just started using Fireworks CS6 and I'm having trouble with pngs. I did the function a million times in CS5. I'm simly doing an image preview and savings as a png32 with a transparent background and no matte color. But it keeps saving with a white background. Has something changed from CS5 to CS6 in the way pngs save? I use this funtiin quite often and it's really irritating that's it's not working right in CS6. I hope it's my error but I would appreciate any help or insight. For now I'm going back to CS5 because it's works correctly.

So does this problem exist in the editing, layout, or publishing stages of your workflow?
The reason I ask is that there are some situations where I don't necessarily expect to see transparency rendered accurately. For example, in Mac OS 10.6.8, files with transparency are given a white background by the Finder. But those same files will look fine in Preview or when viewed using the Quick Look feature:
I'd be really concerned, for example, if the transparency was not rendering in Dreamweaver's Design view, as that could interfere with the creative layout process. But I'd be less concerned if it doesn't appear in Bridge.
That said, if it's been rendered correctly by Bridge in previous versions, I understand your concern. If the problem is localized to Bridge, I'd scour its preferences and interface for any relevant settings. I'd also consider whether your operating system has been updated recently.
FOLLOW-UP: You could also take a look at the Bridge forum. Apparently, others have had concerns about this.

Serious problem with sr1901wm keyboard and mouse lock after compaq sign windows vista

keyboard and mouse have intermittent lock up, but i can get both to work fine after many restarts new battery, power supply every thing else in on the motherboard. sometimes the mouse works and the keyboard doesn't and the other way around, please help i am at a loss and have been doing this for many years

Just to let you know that I found the issue. After uninstalling my antivirus software and rebooted the lappy, the problem went away. I figured out that was due to my license subscription got expired.

Apple Have Serious Problems With 10.7.5

Apple have very serious problems with their software and they do not have the courage to openly admit this to their customers. My company has been dedicated to Apple and all that is good. We have 2 Imacs, I macbook Pro, 1 mac Mini, 1 mac mini server, 1 ipad, 4 iphones and peripheries. I am on the verge of placing them all on a heap and putting a sledgehammer to them all because I am certain that 10.7.5 is such a corrupted release that even Apple technicians cannot help. My company has been on more and more get around fixes that are becoming more and more complicated by the minute. For the last 4 weeks I have been working 8 to 8 daily including some of the weekends to try and fix things. I have had the pleasure (genuinely) of working for two days following a knowledgeable Apple Technicians instructions to resolve a cloud issue and as of today I sit with one imac completely unusable with all sorts of errors and malfunctions - all software based. Other symptoms on other hardware include error messages saying the computer restarted due to a problem with the computer - even though we are carrying out clean shutdowns or restarts; inconsistent acceptance of passwords to i cloud on most equipment but in particular as highlighted above; nearly all applications opening on restart (I do know how to shut that off - in theory!!!!!!!); frequent and very lengthy beachballs; keychain is an absolute mess, slowdowns to the extent that I have to work on three machines to get the minimum of work done; and other random malfunctions or error messages. Apple's positive attitude to its customers used to be second to none. It seems to me that software (and hardware) releases are now too rushed and Apple do not care about software failures but rely on customers to troubleshoot the glitches for them and do so under warranty or more likely care plan support at further cost to the customer.
Just look at all the questions being asked by customers via web searches on the above issues and more. Lots of questions, no reliable fixes, and certainly no interest shown by apple to resolve the issues - in fact Apple have adopted the say and do nothing approach.
I love the products and have been a loyal ambassador to Apple but now my stress level, and the inability of my company to engage its business put me on the verge of taking every item my company owns with an Apple logo and at least gaining some satisfaction by placing them all in a heap and smashing the lots with a sledgehammer (deliberate repeat as this is now a realistic option)
It used to be a pleasure to use the products, and efficient. I am not looking for help on these matters as an Apple technician is working very hard with us but I feel he is as frustrated as us. We are nowhere nearer resolving our problems and almost daily there are other glitches emerging.

Does apple have an issue with magic mouse and adobe

does Apple have a problem with magic mouse and Adobe Photoshop/Indesign/Illustrator, scrolling uncontrollable, pages moving of their own accord etc.
If so, whats the cure and why does Apple not admit to it?

it's rare that a mouse would perform in a different manner between different applications
I would troubleshoot with other apps to see if it was just adobe apps
and then I would troubleshoot by trying a different mouse
could be the mouse was defect

Why Apple don't fix half year serious problem with HD3000, Lion and Adobe products? Doesn't Apple really care about advanced users?
