Why are entries dropping out of Calendar?

I use the calendar to synch entries with my husband, and it works fine for the future. But Now I note that everything from a week ago has vanished apart from all- day appointments.

Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > [scroll down to] Sync > [set as you wish]

Why has Lightroom dropped out of the list of installed applications entirely? And this on two independent systems, even.
It was originally installed through CC and it is still working - but in the CC app it's now listed under "Install new apps".

Why are the colors for my calendar in iCal reseting to a color I never chose? It won't stay blue when I choose that color and keeps changing to a custom lavendar color on its own.... Incredibly annoying...

There doesn't seem to be a one-size-fits-all answer, because what works for one printer doesn't necessarily work for another, and I don't have your printer so I can't advise on specifics...
However, perhaps we can discover a set of settings that will work...
If you File - Print, choose Photoshop Manages Colors, in the Printer Profile section do you see profiles specific to your printer (e.g., with the name Kodak in them)?
If so, choose one of them that seems appropriate given the paper you're using.
If not, try choosing sRGB IEC61966-2.1.
Now, before you continue, press the [Print Settings...] button. This brings up the printer driver dialog. You may have to go through [Advanced] buttons or whatever, but what you're looking to do here is to disable the printer driver's color management logic. In other words, if you can find a color-management / ICC profile handling section, set it to "no color management" or equivalent. OK back out to Photoshop's print dialog, then press [Print].
The key here is that if Photoshop manages the color transforms, the printer driver should not be set to do so - or vice versa.
If you're presented with the printer driver's dialog again, double check that the settings you chose above are still set, for good measure, and try a test print.

If you are syncing music to the iPhone automatically, you won't be able to drag and drop tracks on to the iPhone and the music will be grayed out.
You'll have to Manually Manage the music.
Configure iPhone, iPad, or iPod for manual management
If you have iTunes 7 or later*, follow these instructions:
Connect the device to your computer.
Open iTunes.
Select iPhone, iPad, or iPod in the Devices list.
Click the Summary tab and select "Manually manage music and videos".
Click Apply.
Even when you have enabled manual management, you can still sync some content automatically. Select any content tab, such as Video, to enable automatic syncing for that type of content.

Is it possible that you or someone copied them to that folder or an automated progress making a backup to that folder. Normally if you upload the photos then will be stored in your iPhoto library folder.

Every piece of software has a learning curve, and its own terminology. After Effects is a complex professional tool, used by home enthusiasts right through to feature film makers.
There's plenty of very user friendly video editing software that will do the tasks you've mentioned easily. Might I suggest Adobe Premiere Elements.
For the record, you can't apply an effect to anything in After Effects until you have selected a target layer in the timeline. This functionality is true of any video editing or compositing software I can think of,

Hello, the video and audio from my iPad 2 using the HDMI adapter drops out intermittently (actually quite a bit, like every 30 seconds or so)
when I hook it to my TV. Anyone have any solutions?

Thank you Menneisyys, but the Kanex adapter is a 3rd party dongle that plugs into the hdmi port and splits the audio onto a female 1/8 and the video to VGA (for then connecting to a projector). So I'm (rightly?) assuming it is sufficient quality for the task (unless my particular Kanex is a lemon -- which is really my question: is the problem the Kanex or the Apple TV? I have reinstalled (restored to factory settings) the OS on my ATV but that didn't help :(

Can someone please explain why when I sync my iphone 4s the pics on my home computer folder are correct and in order but once
I sync to my phone they are scrambled?

Thumbnails always look better because they are smaller and smaller always improves definition. How does the video look when played directly from the camera, say through a TV? I suspect that the video itself is out of focus and you couldn't notice until you blew up the picture.a guess.

Why are my gradients out of Illustrator coming out as NChannel?

I'm running into an issue with printing gradients. I build the file in Adobe Illustrator CC, in CMYK. I build a gradient of 100% Cyan to 1% Cyan. Save as a PDF 1.5, 1.6 or 1.7. When I look at the PDF with Acrobat it says the gradients are NChannel color space. To get them to work correctly I have to convert them to CMYK. Is there a reason why Illustrator changes the gradients to NChannel and not the image's color space?

Exactly where and when are you getting this message, please post a screenshot. Who is you rcolro specified in the swatches palette. They should be CMYK process and not spot if CMYK is what you are looking for.
NCHannel used for defining spot colors. DeviceN was added to PDF in the PDF 1.4 specifications. It enables more accurate handling of color blending by including additional dot gain and color mixing information.

To convert a document’s colors to a different color space:
In the Convert Colors dialog box, select an option from the list of color spaces and colorants used in the document. You can specify different conversion options for different color spaces and colorants. For example, you could embed separate color profiles to calibrate color for gray- scale, RGB, and CMYK objects. This strategy could be useful if your RIP color-manages PDF files or if you are sharing PDF files with others.
Select an option from the Action menu:
• Preserve keeps objects in the selected color space when you output the document.
• Convert uses the destination space profile to convert color objects to a common ICC profile for an output device.
• Decalibrate removes embedded profiles from the color objects in that color space.
Choose a destination profile, which should accurately define the target output device.
Specify which pages to convert.

Why are entries into iCal not synching with my droid phone?

When I enter calendar events into my Motorola Droid phone (Gmail), the entries automatically synch to my Macbook Pro Gmail and from there to iCal. But when I make an entry into iCal, though the entry appears on the Macbook Pro Gmail, the entry does not push to my phone. Why would the synching work in one direction and not the other? I was trying to use iCal because it's easy to just click on the dock icon to open it up, but if the synching is not reliable, I'll need to go back to just using Gmail for everything. Thanks for any input.

It's probably not compatible. This is the only thing I can see.

Why are the birthdays on my calendar suddenly unremovable?

Ever since I synced my calendar to Facebook, the birthdays have become unremovable, even if I deselect the birthday calendar. Why is this happening?

I should also mention that I have also removed Facebook syncing to my calendar and contacts, yet the birthdays still appear and are unremovable.
