I'm not able to save pics on my ipad2

I had the same problem, after a long discussion with Apple one of their engineers came up with the bright idea of restoring from the original backup via WiFi rather than connecting to iTunes by USB. This should give you a pretty good idea as to whether the photos are there in your backup file, as for instance it said uploading 22 of 863 photos for me, left it overnight to restore from backup via WiFi, restarted the iPhone in the morning and all of my photos had been restored. I have since backed up all photos to a very helpful Dropbox "Camera Uploads" update.
To restore from iCloud via WiFi, on your device:
Open Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings
Wait for the device to restart, input Time and Date Settings and Connect to WiFi.
Log in using your Apple ID and select Restore from iCloud Backup. (Ensure it is the iCloud backup with all relevant photos).
Leave device to Restore overnight and restart in the morning!

Sounds like you picked up some Malware.
Sometimes a problem with Firefox may be a result of malware installed on your computer, that you may not be aware of.

Why are my pictures not on icloud

when i go onto icloud.com and log in i have access to every other item other than pictures, why is that? and where are they? i would like to download them to my hard drive & delete from icloud but i cant find them please help
i sync via wifi not via itunes / cable ect.

These bullet points list the locations where you can view your iCloud Photo Stream. iCloud.com isn't one of those locations, so I would look at these options to see which one fits your needs:
iPhone, iPad or iPod touch: Your photos will appear in the My Photo Stream album in the Photos app. If you're using iOS, you can find your photos by tapping the Photo Stream tab, then tapping the My Photo Stream album. In iOS 5, your photos are in the Photo Stream album.
Mac: Your photos appear in the Shared albums section under iCloud in iPhoto 9.5 or Aperture 3.5. In earlier support versions of iPhoto and Aperture, your photos appear in the Photo Stream section. In iPhoto 9.4 or later or in Aperture 3.4 or later, open the My Photo Stream album.
PC using Windows 8.1: From the Start screen, click the down arrow Down arrow in the lower-left corner, then click the iCloud Photos app.
PC using Windows 8: From the Start screen, select iCloud Photos (or Photo Stream in iCloud Control Panel 2.0 to 2.12).
PC using Windows 7: Click the Windows Start button, then click Pictures. Click iCloud Photos or Photo Stream under the Favorites menu in the panel on the left. Double-click My Photo Stream to view your photos.

Why are my pictures being saved so large?!?!

I'm really hoping someone on here can help! I've never had this problem before until the recently. I open up a picture that I've taken, which is 3 MB, and do just a bit of editing. I'll crop, adjust the curves, and that's it. When I go to save it, it saves as a 12-14 MB picture. Anyone know why this would be happening?

When you are using the crop tool, are you resampling (i.e., are there any numbers in the fields at the top of the Photoshop window)? If so, you could be causing the images to be upsampled to a higher pixel count.
I'd also like to mention that JPEG compression isn't simple; it's not just "pick a number and that defines the size". In short, the JPEG quality level provided by the camera doesn't correspond to any particular Photoshop setting. Level 12 in Photoshop will definitely save very large files. Usually level 10 or 11 is good enough for delivered images, but if you're concerned with quality loss (e.g., for subsequent editing) you may have to face the fact that you'll need to save them as large files. Personally, unless these output JPEGs are your final product, I'd probably save them as .psd files, which incurs no loss but does provide some compression.
Lastly, terabyte disks are ridiculously cheap. In all seriousness you should not be balancing quality of your results against storage size. A top-of-the-line 2 TB Western Digital RE4 hard drive is $230 last I looked. A 1 TB RE3 drive is only a little over a hundred bucks! I'm quoting high reliability drive prices because I would not advise buying anything less. Your data is too valuable to worry over a few tens of dollars.

Why are my pictures being saved at 3.1mp to my camera roll?

I just baught iphoto for my new ipad and everything works great on it.....except for when i try to save my edited pictures to my camera roll.....the resolution for most of my pictures are 7.1 and 12 mp...and when they go through iphoto and save them back to my camera roll they go down to 3.1mp .....is there a way to save them at there native resolution instead of droping them down several MP....they are useless to me like that .......i wonder why snapseed lets me save them at there native resolution but iPhoto doesnt.....this app is useless to me if i cant save them at the resolution that they were taken....ughhhh.....

I think iPhoto for iOS is designed to optimize photos for use on sharing sites like Facebook and photobucket. Supposedly sharing the photos to iTunes will allow you to copy them over to your computer at full size. She then to iTunes after editing them and before doing anything else with them.
The iPad optimizes photos when they are imported via the sync process. This downsizes them before they even get to iPhoto for you to edit them. Importing the photos directly from the camera using a Camera Connection Kit keeps them at their original size. iPhoto will work on photos up to 20 mp.

Why are the tabs not saved when I restart Firefox? Very frustrating with the new version.

I pin a tab - or many tabs. Close Firefox, then open it the tabs are never saved. This was never the issue with the older versions of Firefox - been using it for years. I bought a new computer, loaded Firefox (19.0) and now I cannot "save" the tabs.

You can check for problems with the sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak files in the Firefox Profile Folder that store session data.
Delete the sessionstore.js file and possible sessionstore-##.js files with a number and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox Profile Folder.

How do I access the cloud and moreover, why are my pictures not on my Itunes, even though they're backed up on the cloud?

In trying to sync my Iphone 4, I noticed that none of my pictures are not my Itunes, even though they've been backed up on the Cloud. My Itunes also states that I'm over my space by .4 GB although my phone says i still have 2.7 GB of space left. I'd like to delete my pics off my phone, but not until I know they're backed up properly. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

photos taken on your iphone and show up in photostream on your ios device can be automatically downloaded to your computer.
if you have a mac, the photos in photostream automatically download into your iphoto application

you no longer are required to ever hook up your ios device to your computer to extract photos again (you will have to if you want to get videos off of your iphone). Simply connect your computer to the internet at least once a month, and all photostream photos will download into the proper place (outlined in the above links).

Why are my pics not saving correctly?

Using adobe elements 5.0. When I finish editing a picture and save as a new picture, it seems to save fine like always. But when I go to look for it in my documents it has no picture thumbnail and it looks like a blue paper. When I go to open it the file says cannot open because its the wrong type of file. It was working fine a week ago and just started doing this on its own. I already tried to uninstall and reinstall and that didn't help either. Any ideas?

There are different ways to create references to cells. Each copy/pastes differently.
In the first screenshot, if you fill down with the formula, in the next row it will become Price in USD Camera x Exchange Rate::B3. Because there is no Exchange Rate::B3, it is an invalid reference.
In the formula, change it to Exchange Rate::B$2 then it will fill down correctly
The $ says to keep the "2" constant. If you had made it $B2 it would say to keep the "B" constant. $B$2 says to keep the "B" and the "2" constant.

Ok, I have set up upgraded everything to the correct versions. I have set up and enabled Photo Stream on my iMac and on my iPhone. I have enabled Photo Stream on the iPhone. I have set up my iCloud services. I can drag pictures to the Photo Stream app, but when I take pictures they do not appear in Photo Stream. What am I doing wrong?

I found the problem. AS it turns out, when I created my iCloud account I eneded up creating a NEW ID. The process is a little bit confusing and it is apparently easy to get one ID on the iCloud on your iMac and another on your iPhone. This is what I had done. It was a simple matter of signing out of iCloud on the Mac and then signing back in wiht my original Apple ID (the one on the iPhone) once I signed backin, pictures starte appearing in the Photo Stream. Easypeasy!

1-Photocopy of a bible page scanned as Bitmap, and converted to Grayscale in Photoshop.
2-Improvements made using either "levels" adjustment layers OR multiple layers set to either "screen" or "multiply."
3-Saving (flattening) causes the image to revert to the original.

You're applying a curve to an image that only has two values (black and white). The preview looks ok, but is purely deceptive. Try applying your edits while viewing at 100% view. You can use two views of the image (window > arrange > new window for doc x) to have one at your favorite viewing percentage and one at 100%. You might try blurring by .25 to .75 px before messing with curves/levels.

I deleted emails from my windows emails and when I went into my pictures there was all my recently deleted items as pdf adobe files and I cannot right click and delete. But why would my deleted emails be going to my pictures in the first place. So i think it must be in how the adobe program is set up and need to know how to change the settings so my deleted emails are not sent to my pictures.I do not know what other details you would require?

    1.    Photostream only syncs photos over Wi-Fi, make sure you are connected to Wi-Fi to begin with.
    2.    Photostream only syncs when the camera app is closed, ensure it is closed.
    3.    Photostream only syncs when the battery is above 20%, try recharging the device
Try disabling photo stream on your device (settings > iCloud), restarting your device and then re-enabling photo stream.
If this doesn't help you may need to reset photo stream. You can do this at icloud.com by clicking on your name in the top right corner and then the advanced settings in the pop-up dialogue box that appears.
Note: disabling photostream and re-enabling it will result in any photos that are currently in the photostream album on your device, that are older than 30 days old, not being added back.
