Why are my web pages so small?

I've noticed when using my iPhone (3G) that some web pages, when double-clicked, briefly flicker, like they're trying to expand, but then they return quickly to their original mini size. Other web pages, when double-clicked expand to a larger more readable size. Why is this happening? Is this a web page design issue or is it inherent in the iPhone?

Not always. I've come across a few that don't resize. It's not common but it does happen.

Hi,
1. When insert a web part in SharePoint 2013, you can edit the web part and change the appearance and layout of the web part.
You can add the boundaries for the web part. (Edit page->select a web part ->edit the web part->in the appearance section->in Chrome Type, select title and border->after that you can see the boundaries).
2. The color of the links depends on the theme you have selected in SharePoint 2013. Different themes set the different colors of the links. You also can customize the theme or composed look in SharePoint 2013.

Why are some web pages not loading fully or at all in chrome?

I just updated to 10.6.8 half an hour ago, and I tried watching videos on youtube, using google chrome. The first thing that I noticed is that the page turns completely transparent, invisible. I can see the toolbar, web adress bar and bookmarks bar, but everything else is invisible, with just a semi-transparent line marking the border of the would be. I then tried loading up a video in my history, to see if it was just the main page with this issue. When I loaded up a video, any video, the player itself would be transparent but the rest of the window and it's contents were visible, and I could still hear the audio stream from the video that should have been playing.
It happened again when I came here, some of the support links I opened would only be visible if I opened them within the same tab, if I tried to open them in a new tab they would also turn invisible. What's causing this and how do I fix this?

Most YouTube content requires the Flash plugin. Uninstall then reinstall the plugin.

Why are my web pages scrolling half way down by themselves while I'm using my apple magic mouse. And no, it's not the mouse, apple replaced it

Only in Firefox when I'm at a site the page will scroll down about half way and stop at by itself which is annoying when I am filling out a form or looking for something. I use to have a problem when I was scrolling and the page would freeze and I would have to go to the scroll bar and manually move the page up and down to active the scroll on my mouse and yes this is a new mouse replaced by Apple.

As I've mentioned above, I was informed that updating to 5.0.1 would '''require''' me to '''delete''' the current version and then install the new one. And doing so will involve losing all my bookmarks. I guess I should have been more specific and detailed there. By losing, I didn't mean losing them forever. I'm aware that they're secured in some place and deleting and installing the software doesn't harm its existence. What I meant that if I install the new version, I'd have to delete the old one. And after installing the new version, I'd have to transfer them (bookmarks) back from wherever they are. Get it? When it updated from 3.6.9 to 3.6.13, and from 3.6.13 to 3.6.18, I didn't need to follow that process. They were already present on their own.
BTW, I'm having no problems with 3.6.18 but after learning about the existence of version 5.0.1, I'm a bit too eager to lay my hands over it.

When I access my Yahoo home page as well as other pages, the site appears as a menu rather than in it's normal format, I cannot find any function that will allow me to change it back, Internet Explorer does not have this problem so I am fairly certain it is a problem with firefox. Can you help?

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.

If you have increased the minimum font size then try the default setting "none" as a high value can cause issues like you described.

The type is small on the website but that's because of all the stuff that they are cramming onto the page. A couple of other users made this same comment about eBay a while ago, as I recall.
There is no setting in Safari in which you can enlarge the size of the text.

I heard back from Nike+ support and they said that there will be newer pics soon and it also appears that this corrected itself for my runs, but not the user pic, I only get girly options, I wouldn't mind a picture of a guy on 'ROIDS!!! Just kidding, but something less feminine or cartoon like, I'm trying to be serious about this and the site should reflect that.

Yes, I will....the next time it happens. In the past it has happened to AOL a number of times (which is usually my home page), as well as some Yuku message boards I visit...The History Channel A&E, Spike TV, all at various times.
Unfortunately, this morning when it happened to one of the Yuku message board, I went directly to the tool bar, cleared my cache and cookies, without capturing a screenshot. Now , everything I've bookmarked is working properly but I will tell you it's a problem that I only experience on Firefox and not any other browsers, even when I've imported bookmarks from Firefox. It's been a fairly consistent problem for the past 6 months or so where I manually uninstalled, reinstalled Firefox (my preferred browser) and again, manually started bookmarking my sites all over again. It seems that when it happens most of the icons, graphics and photographs are missing, leaving me with only disorganized text.
The next time that it occurs, I will take a screen shot and forward it to you.

What's the URL of your site so we can examine it first hand? I assume those black lines are around photos or objects that have had a frame or drop shadow added to it, right? If so that's a known issue.
There's a workaround for that in this tutorial: #7 - Converting Photos w/Frames, Drop Shadows and/or Reflections into a Single Image File. That should get rid of those black lines/boxes.

Why are images on page blinking after OSX 10.9.3 update on 5/21/14?

I have finally been able to get the strobe effect stopped. I've restarted at least 7 times and each time I got the light grey screen with the darker grey apple and the spinning wheel, but not the log in box I used to get before the 5/21/14 update. But I called my son and he did some research and told me to hold down the Shift key and type in my password, even if it didn't appear in the log in box. It worked and the log in box appeared and I was able to type in my password. After doing this for each of the 7 times, on my last attempt it appears the strobe effect has been weeded out. Thank God - I thought I was going blind with it affecting every screen I was on.

This has never occurred in IE.

File >Page Setup -- check your margins, I have set size to 85% which is probably left over from some problem. Also check your printer that it is correctly set to the size of the paper.

Web page super small

I am wondering why internet pages don't fill the whole screen. I have stretched my internet from the bottom right corner so that it takes up the whole 17" screen, but all the web content stays super tight in the center. It just seems so small and is kindof annoying that I have to squint sometimes to see the font!
Any idea on how to maximize the web content to fill the whole screen??

In Safari you can set the size and type of Font used for most web page displays, open Safari/Preferences/Appearance then click 'Select' next to Standard width Font and choose something that suits you better.
Or, open-pinch the screen laterally and it will enlarge everything.

Is this happening to a webpage that requires a cookie or cache? It is possible either cookie or cache is corrupted. Cookies are frequently used to manage your passwords securely.

If you have made changes to Advanced font settings like increasing the minimum/default font size then try the default minimum setting "none" and the default font size 16 in case the current setting is causing problems.

Make sure that you allow pages to choose their own fonts.

It is better not to increase the minimum font size, but to use an extension to set the default page zoom to prevent issues with text not being displayed properly.

PDF links in IE7 web page open small

When trying to open a link on a web page I click the button "view" and the PDF page opens small.
In the past, using earlier versions of Adobe Reader, I did not have this problem of the PDF page opening small.
I drag the page to full size, but it does not save in the full size.
I have tried everything recommended on MS tech support pages to save the page full, but none of the solutions work for the PDF page.
I have repaired and re-installed Adobe Reader but the PDF page still opens small.
I am running under Vista Home Premium 64bit IE7
