I have a new iphone6+ and have paired it to my 3 cars. When playing music from my iphone, the volume is very low and I have to turn the car volume to max to listen. I had no issues with previous iphone parings. Pls help.

Apparently in iOS 8 there are different volume settings for different applications
The setting on the home screen does not carry over to Pandora for example and it is different ( or at least appears to be) for the in-car experience.
So I would try to stream the music when not in the car - see if you can turn the volume up and then try again in the car

Since purchase of my macmini (2011 model) I have been able to wake it from sleep by hitting the (wired) keyboard space bar.
However, I recently updated the OS to 10.7.4 using the combo (1.4Gb) update, since when I cannot wake the macmini in that way.
Now, after putting the macmini to sleep, pressing the spacebar causes it to shut down.
I then have to switch mains power off and on again at the wall socket, after which the macmini starts up from shutdown condition.
I am by no means an expert, and have not been fiddling with settings, so I am in need of advice on what could need resetting to allow me to return to the previous simple 'wake up' approach!

1. Shut down the computer.
2. Locate the following keys on the keyboard: Command, Option, P, and R. You will need to hold these keys down simultaneously in step 4.
3. Turn on the computer.
4. Press and hold the Command-Option-P-R keys. You must press this key combination before the gray screen appears.
5. Hold the keys down until the computer restarts and you hear the startup sound for the second time.
6. Release the keys.
Then if those do not fix the problem, you may need to reset your Energy Saver and Keyboard Preferences by readjusting them. -

Why can't I access all of my iTunes library when I am of at home connected to wifi.. The whole reason I bought iTunes Match was do I could access my entire library from anywhere?
On iTunes using your computer have you completed the iTunes Match 3-step process?
If so, within Song view you can enable a field called iCloud status - sorting Songs on this field will show what is available from the cloud.
It sounds like all you need to do is to enable mobile internet on your iPhone to allow access over 3G as well as WiFi. -
After I upgraded my Iphone 4 with the ios 7.1.1 it locks up while sending text messages. I can usually send a few then will have to restart my phone(often more than once) to get it to send and receive messages again. I have done a back up and complete reset and that has not fixed the problem. Have been told that the ios 7.1.1 just isn't compatible with the Iphone 4 so that's why it is locking up so often, but I am hoping someone else may have a better answer since it can't be undone. 7.1.1 is certainly compatible with the iPhone 4. Just try a reset first.
Close all open apps by double-tapping the home button, then swiping up and off the screen with the app window (not the smaller icon).
Reset your device: hold down the home button along with the sleep/wake button until the screen goes black and you see the Apple, then let go. (No data loss) -

Why can't thunderbird access my mail anymore after traveling to a different country?
Hello everyone,
I started having problems with Thunderbird after moving from Germany to Lebanon. First I thought it was because I changed my time zone on the computer but now I think it is more related to my yahoo account. First Thunderbird started to download one message multiple times (basically every time it went to retrieve email from all of my web accounts, but it didn't happen all the time and only to my yahoo account). Then it stopped to connect altogether giving me the report "maildrop busy". I tried opening it from time to time but it would only sometimes and apparently randomly download all the messages including yahoo but also sometimes giving me nothing or just one mail a dozen times.
Now I moved to Kyrgyztan via Turkey and since I'm only able to use yahoo through the browser I got asked to identify myself through an alternative email (web.de) which doesn't exist anymore so now my yahoo is also completely blocked in the browser. So I thought maybe Thunderbird initially couldn't download my yahoo mail because it probably asked to identify myself when I moved to Lebanon in the first place. But then why would it have been able to get the mail at some times anyway and why could I log in online without getting asked the question? Does Thunderbird identify itself automatically even when you change locations?
So I am of course in big trouble because yahoo is my main email account. The fact that I deleted my older alternative mail account is of course my own loss but can anyone say if there is a way to fix Thunderbird so maybe I would then be able to access yahoo through Thunderbird again?
(Another problem is, that yahoo offers no way to contact them directly, I did all the help and customer support sites, they are useless, and there is no phone number or mail contact...)

Why can't I access my itunes library on an external drive?
Hi -- I successfully moved my itunes library to an external drive a few months ago, and all was going well - I added content to it several times. For some reason now I can't access it, and when I tried to burn a CD into itunes, it created a new library that is on my hard drive. I have done the thing where I go into preferences and select the external drive as the library, but I still can't get to the external drive.
This is particularly urgent because I have a 2-week old baby and I am trying to burn one of those awful "soothing sounds" CDs so I can play it on my ipod while he is sleeping. Thank you!If the iTunes Library.itl file is also on the external drive, try launching iTunes while holding down the Shift key, and when the dialog window opens that allows you to create a new library or open an existing one, choose to open an existing one, navigate to the folder that contains that library file and select it.
If that works, note for the future that if you launch iTunes when that external drive isn't mounted, iTunes will default back to the normal location on the internal drive and you'll have to repeat the Shift-launch process.

While searching the internet last night my Macbook pro froze up and would not respond to anything. I restarted the computer and now the computer will not ecen start up. Try forgetting the network, reboot your iPad and then try joining the network again.
Settings>WiFi>Your network name>Forget this network. Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.
Go back to Settings>WiFi>Your network name>Enter your password>Tap Join.
If that doesn't work, reset network settings. Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings. Reboot the iPad again. Go back to Settings>WiFi>Your network name>Enter your password>Tap join. -

My 4s has no sound on most of the outgoing calls i make. It will ring the other phone I am calling but I cannot hear it nor can they hear me when they answer. Its just dead air but my phone timer is in use. How can this be corrected?
It's very possible that you have stuff running in the background that you don't even realize you have running. For example the default is for all notifications to be on and you usually need few to none of them.
That said, while an iPad can run warm, too hot to handle isn't right. ALso you should get about 10 hours....depending on what you're doing of course. If you're doing processor intensive stuff, like gaming and videos it can drain faster and generate more heat.
I would say if you have an apple store near by, make an appointment and have them check it out. If the issue is due to what they determine to be manufacturer's defects then it could fall under the warranty. But that's up to the store to determine. -
Why can't I access Photo Editor. When I click on it, it kicks me off the Elements start screen?
I was having trouble accessing Photo Editor from the start screen of Elements. When I click on "Photo Editor" it kicks me out of the program entirely. Yet, when I click on "Organizer" it opens. What can I do? After I configured my monitor, I was able to access Photo Editor, but then it has gone back to NOT accessing it. Anyone have an answer?
Try a reset. Next try deleting and reinstalling app.
