Why can't I download and play songs on iTunes from iCloud if I purchased Match?
I want to play songs on my desktop from iTunes. However, I can't click on the cloud symbol and download them onto my PC...I just get a "!" out to the left of the song. I have no problem downloading the songs from the cloud and playing them on my iPhone.
A little more background. I've had iTunes Match for well over a year and I didn't have this issue until just recently. Things that have changed recently:
I got a new iPhone (not my choice...company move). I purchased a lot of my old music on the old iPhone. The new iPhone has 8GB storage. The old iPhone had 16GB of storage. I had 13GB on the old phone. A lot of stuff, therefore, didn't transfer to the new phone after backup. However, keep in mind, it's not just the music that I purchased on the old iPhone that is "greyed out" and unavailable, it's music that I have stored on my personal lap top at home, too. Also please keep in mind that some of the music that I purchased on my old iPhone *is* playable/available on my desktop.
I recently renewed iTunes Match.
I don't knowingly have any music stored on the HDD of the computer in question, it is my work computer (i.e. I have never purposely downloaded a song or purchased a song on my work computer). The big question here is *why* can I download music from the cloud and play it on my new iPhone but can't download the very same song and play it on my work computer via iTunes? There are cloud symbols beside the songs on both devices...when I click on the cloud symbol on my iPhone, it downloads it or streams it if I click play...can't do either on iTunes on my desktop for the same exact song.

I'm guessing because the servers or part of the network is still overloaded by millions of other trying to do the same.

Why can't I download the newest version of Itunes? My Itunes program tells me an update is availible but when I select to download nothing happens.
Try updating your iTunes using an iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64Setup.exe) downloaded from the Apple website:

Why can't I drag and drop songs from one playlist to another?
All of a sudden I can no longer drag and drop songs from one playlist to another. The only way I can do it now is by selecting the song[s], right click on them, and then choose "Move to playlist...." Any thoughts?
Yes! This is really annoying. I don't know why they couldn't keep the functionality from the old version. The more I use the new iTunes the less I like it.

after installing the osx 10.8, i didn`t like and decided to go back to Snow Leopard.
Now, i`m trying to download and instal but i can`t because they say that this osx isn`t available for my country.

Difficult to say when you provide no details, not even the operating system running on your computer. Post back with more information, including what happens when you download and install the standalone updater (iTunes tab above) and someone will probably then be able to offer suggestions.

Why can't I download any of adobe's apps from the website?
Before you tell me to use the creative cloud desktop app, i've tried. I can't even install it and I can't find a fix for it. So did I just waste my money? I can't download anything. My firewall is off for these downloads and I turned off my anti-virus software as well. I'm running windows 7 right now. Very frustrated right now. The most recent iTunes version (iTunes 12.0.1) requires OS X Lion or higher, so you have to upgrade OS X to a higher operating system like OS X Yosemite.

How do I download and immediately delete all original photos from iCloud photos? This way, I have a local copy of all my iPhone photos, and my iPhone and iCloud space will be reset and empty.
Using the online iCloud web app, you can only select one photo at a time. There is no select all or download all. And when you try to select one by one multiple photos and download, it opens a download "save-as" window for each one! Not one download window for all the selected. So if you select one hundred photos, one hundred download "save-as" windows will pop up, and you have to click the save button one hundred times.
Using my Windows 7 PC, the iCloud app doesn't have iCloud photo sync, only the Photo Stream photos, which is separate.
After researching online, they said the Apple OS X Yosemite Photos app could do this. So I tried my wife's MacBook Pro, and there is a iCloud photo sync, BUT, it tries to merge with her local photos. My 20 GB iCloud is full with my iPhone pictures, and her local photo library is about 50 GB. So it doesn't not even merge or allow the iCloud photo sync to turn on without buying more storage! The Apple OS X Yosemite Photos app doesn't even have a download only feature, OR access the iCloud like a folder to drag and drop photos or like an FTP. WHAT THE?!?!
So there IS ABSOLUTELY NO OPTION SO FAR to download and remove immediately all photos in the iCloud photo storage with ANY device, unless maybe I delete all my wife's photos on her MacBook Pro, which is not an option. Or select one by one thousands of photos on the online web app.
Am I missing something? or is Apple not so user friendly as they seem to be?Open iphoto. Connect camera.

I have all the minimum system requirements to view HD content on my computer. Why does iTunes tell me that I don't and cannot download my HD movies that I have already purchased? Why should I buy the SD version when my computer is completely capabile of viewing all HD content and has a very good video card with HDCP status showing that it's good?
Please help so that I can get my movies downloaded.This is for the Windows 8-8.1 users out there: If you have the Pro version of Windows 8 and just recently upgraded to 8.1, Microsoft automatically includes a Virtual Machine package called Hyper-V client. It doesn't ask you if you want to install it, it just does.
This may also apply to Windows 7 users who may have inadvertently installed some version of Hyper-V on their computer.
The Hyper-V package installs a secondary video driver that breaks HDCP, which means you can't play HD movies even on a compliant system. You need to get rid of it. To do so:
Go to Control Panel
Programs and Features
Turn Windows Features on or Off
Uncheck "Hyper-V"
Reboot.
This applies to almost anything that requires HDCP, so if you're having trouble with Blu-Rays or Amazon Prime, that's likely the culprit. -

Both Chrome and Firefox use their own PDF viewer, which may or may not open PDF docs correctly.
