Why can't I find Ox S Lion on my mac?

When i go into the app store is it displayed as installed but i canot find the app anywhere. I really want to complete my icloud for music and I cant do it without it. Help please?

It's not an app; it's the entire OS. Choose About this Mac from the Apple menu; if the version listed is 10.7 or newer, you have it.

This happens with maybe 1 out of 5 files. These are files that have either an ."aa" extention, or or are libraries that icloud can see, but finder can't.

Files beginning with a period are invisible and library files are system files. Spotlight cannot find either unless configured to do so (btw, this is not a Finder issue but a Spotlight issue.)
Get Spotlight to search system files (and more)
Enter the search term in the Finder window's search field.
Click the [+] button in the search bar to add a search option.
In the first drop down menu choose Other.
Choose “System Files” from the list that pops up (and check the box to place in drop down menu to avoid this step later,) click on the OK button.
Now back in the Finder choose Include from the second drop down menu.

Why can i not find OS X lion 10.7 (2012)

I am currently running 10.6.8 on an iMac6,1 with an Intel Core 2 Duo (2.16 GHz). I want to upgrade to Lion becuase I cannot upgrade to Mountian Lion (or so I gathered by reading that my model isn't supported?). I have searched this site, I have Googled the crap out of it in every way I can think of, I have looked in the ap store... The only thing I can find for Lion are the updates, but not the actual os. How do I go about getting it?

Why can't I find a Lion download anywhere? My Macbook is not compatible with Mountain Lion (it's old). And all I want is iCloud. Very frustrating!

You need to call 1800MYAPPLE and explain your situation.
You can purchase a redemption code, and redem it on the app store.

You should first uninstall any previous version of Flash Player, using the uninstaller from here (make sure you use the correct one!):

and also that you follow the instructions closely, such as closing ALL applications first before installing. You must also carry out a permission repair after installing anything from Adobe.

Why can't I find certain Pantone plus colors in Illustrator CS6 color books? For example I want to use PMS 2296C, but it is not coming up in the color swatch book in Illustrator.

I actually just came across the same thing in the meantime.
And it worked!
If you bought the physical Pantone books, there is a registration/serial number on the back. You can go to Pantone and register it (https://www.pantone.com/pages/MYP_myPantone/mypProductRegistration.aspx)
Then you're able to download the Pantone manager.
There are infact 336 new colors added to the Pantone Plus series. And this is where you need to get them. Once you have them, in Pantone color manager, you go to: File/Export/Adobe Illustrator/sRB. Then restart Illustrator.
Once you go back in, the new 336 colors are available!

I have had issues with this problem before, and have spent a few hours looking throughout the many related threads on this forum and on Logic Pro Help without finding a workable solution. So I will jump in again and hope for someone to shed some light on this.
Here is the scenario- I have two rigs, one in my studio and another on my laptop (2.5 gh Intel core 2 Duo with 4GB RAM). I have a duplicate of my sample library on a portable drive, which I take with me when I'm using my laptop. I recently copied a Project I'm working on from the portable drive to my main system. When I open the project, I get a message telling me that certain (not all) EXS files are not found.
Some further pertinent info:
I have not saved the EXS files with the project- the project uses a sizable template and that would be cumbersome.
All of the EXS instruments/samples in the Project are there on both my internal sample drive and the portable drive.
The aliases linking my Application support Logic folder and the sample drive are correct and in place.
This happens whether I have the portable drive mounted on my main rig or not. And whether I open the Project from the portable drive or from the copy on the internal drive.
I have reindexed the internal sample drive with Spotlight. Didn't help.
I have refreshed the Instrument menu from within EXS. Didn't seem to do anything.
Anyone?

Did you look in your Downloads folder?
Click on the Face icon in the Dock, a window appears, then click your "home" name on the left and there should be a row folders one called Downloads. Doubleclick it to open.
